Welcomed Into The Darkness

Calum's POV
I will not let them hurt the girls, no matter what they say. I know it is orders but this is too far for them to just sleep with them. I walk away from the guys angrily and try to calm myself down. I know what I signed up for when I joined this gang, and I don't know why these two girls are making me doubt. I turn a corner and I see Lilac walking. I know she probably doesn't want anything to do with me anymore but I need to try, not to make her think good of Luke or Ashton, but try to see if she still wants to talk to me.
"Lilac!" i call, which causes her to get weird stares from the people around her. She turns around and when she sees me, her eyes go wide and she tries to get away. I run up to her and that didn't take long because I have to learn to run fast when I am with the guys.
"Please, let me explain" i say
"Explain what? That you lied to me and my sister? And for what, so you could get to us and make us weak?" she asks
"No, it was nothing like that" i say, shaking my head
"Yeah right. Leave me alone Calum" she says
"What did your sister mean by you guys having a rough time?" i blurt out when she tries to walk away
"Who told you that?" she asks
"Luke said that Rose flipped out and told him. Lilac, what did she mean?" i ask
"I am not telling you this. You have no right to know" she says
"Lilac, please, i never meant to hurt you. Michael and I told Rose for a reason" I say
"You should have told us from the start" she says
"I wanted to but i was scared this would happen. You have to believe me" i basically plead
"Rose was right when she said we went through a lot" she sighs and i am happy that she is going to tell me about her past "Before we moved here, life wasn't the easiest. When we saw you at the restaurant, I thought it would be a fresh start with new people. Rose thought we shouldn't have talked to you guys. She was more hurt about what happened to us than I was, and i guess she had a right to be. That's all I'm saying about it Calum" she says and i nod, understanding her decision
"That's fine with me. Just know that Michael and I will always be here for you" i tell her
"Okay, well I will see you around" she says and this time I let her leave, knowing she is no mood to talk to me now.

I know it is another short chapter but do you guys think Lilac has a reason to be mad at Calum? We will update as soon as we can :)
