Rose's POV
Today is the first job we're doing since we got our new members, and it just so happened to be at the same club that Ashton brings the guys and Lilac to.
"Are you ready?" Viper asks
"Yeah" I tell him, turning so he could actually see my appearance
"Fuck, you look hot" he tells me, closing the door and walking up to me. Nick still doesn't know about us, and that's how we plan to keep it. Sound familiar?
"Thanks" I reply to his compliment.
"You know, Tayla can take your spot today. You could say you're sick and I can be the great guy that I am and take care of you" he wiggles his eyebrows, earning a slap on the arm.
"I'm kidding" he says, pecking my lips "Partly" he adds before kissing me once more.
"You're such a pig" I say, pulling away from him and reapplying the lipstick that he messed up.
"I am a boy, there's a difference" he corrects me
"Hardly" I reply, making him glare at me. "Didn't Nick say you weren't able to speak to me?" I ask him, grabbing my cross body purse
"He said and I quote 'Tell the bitch that she has five minutes to get her shit together'. I assumed he meant you." he explains
"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" I ask
"Not really, but he rarely means Tayla when he refers to bitch. I just took the best bet" he shrugs
"Wow, my boyfriend calling me a bitch." I say
"Oh, so I'm your boyfriend now?" he asks
"Well you never actually asked me, but I assumed" I say
"Viper dating Rose?" he asks himself "I like the sound of that" he says before pulling me close to him and kissing me quickly.
"Let's go before Nick comes in here and murders us both" I say and he sighs in disappointment when I decide not to continue our moment.
"You're not fun" he groans. I decide to ignore him and roll my eyes instead
"Rose, what the fuck is taking you so long?" I hear Nick say
"How about you shut your fucking mouth. I'm ready" I say as I open the bedroom door
"What the hell are you smiling at, Viper?" Nick hisses
"Absolutely nothing Nick" Viper mumbles, making me stifle a small laugh.
I look over to Tayla, who was wearing a striped crop top, black short shorts, and black thigh high boots, all the black she wore differing greatly from her normal pale complexion.
Matt on the other hand, wore a black button up shirt, and tight black jeans and converses.
"How do you expect to bait wearing something like that?" she sneers.
"I think we established that I can wear whatever the fuck I want and still get a guy out of the club before your ass could" I say, smiling innocently as she glared daggers my way.
"That is enough, both of you." Nick ordered, but Tayla didn't listen.
"How about you shut your ugly ass mouth before I knock you out bitch" she growled, getting up from where she was sitting.
"You wouldn't dare touch me" I challenge
"Don't think I wouldn't, because I would" she says
"Alright, that is more than enough. You, my dear Tayla earned yourself a bench day." Nick says, and I had to stop myself from laughing in her face.
"What the hell does that mean?" Tayla asks, her voice laced with rage.
"It means you don't get to leave the house on our first assignment with you" I say, smiling to make sure she knows that I enjoy this.
"Like hell I'm staying here. Matt say something" Tayla begged her brother to defend her
"Sorry sis, I'm not the one who is supposed to give orders" Matt shrugs, and I can almost feel Nick smirking that one of the twins knows their place.
"Why the fuck does Rose go with you if she is as guilty to this as me?" she asks
"We need her, but don't worry, I'll make sure this doesn't happen again" Nick says
"Keep dreaming Nick. Oh and little miss bitch, don't beat yourself up over it. Not everyone gets to shine in this gang" I say
"Ease off Rose" Viper tells me
"Viper you stay here with Tayla" Nick tells Viper
"What the hell. He shouldn't have to stay. Matt's the brother" It's obvious that I have yet to figure out my place in this group.
"And Viper is second in command." Nick says, making me sigh out in frustration. I was supposed to steal him for a while tonight and of course little miss bitch had to ruin it for me.
"This is going to be great" I mutter to myself as I leave out the door with Nick ahead of me and Matt following shortly behind me.

Sweaty bodies surrounded the dance floor. We arrived a few minutes ago, and we were still waiting for my target to arrive.
"So, after Rose leads the asshole out, I need you to follow her and kill the guy before something happens" Nick explains to Matt over the loud music filling the building.
"Careful there, Nick. It almost sounded like you cared about me" I say over my shoulder before taking another drink of my bitter beverage.
"I don't, but if anything happened to you, Viper will have my ass. Lord knows what the hell he sees in you behind that smart ass mouth"he says
"What's the point in this anyways? I have been baiting for two different gangs now and I have no idea why I'm doing this" I realize
"Baiters make it known how strong we can be. The people you bait are relatives or a member of a different gang that owes us money. Killing them makes it so they know we want the money already." he says before turning his attention back to Matt.
I look through the crowd and see my sister, obviously taking the position as baiter, and I had to admit, she was getting better. She still wasn't fit to take the position but she is easing into the spot. I look a little farther and I see Calum and Michael observing her, making sure she is safe. I smile to myself when I see that Michael dyed his hair once again. That boy and his hair dye.
"Rose, he's here" I hear Nick inform me, and he points to a guy, rather young, entering the club.
"Peace of cake" I say before walking in his direction, purposely passing by Calum and Michael, making it known I'm here to show them what they managed to let go.
I begin to move my hips to the music, not too slutty, because Nick informed me that the guy I'm trying to get to isn't very fond of girls who try too hard.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I hear a very familiar voice say into my ear. When I turn, I see Michael, and I instantly get a smile plastered onto my face
"Hi to you too stranger" I tell him
"Rose, how could you just do that to Luke, to us, your sister?" he tries to take me on a guilt trip.
"Easily with the help of your gang leader. Dance with me. I need to bait a guy who isn't interested in a slut, since he likes a good challenge. So make it look like you're the one making me dance" I say
"You want me to help you with a job that can affect my own gang?" He asks me
"Please, Mikey" I beg and he gives in, grabbing my hands and might I say that if Viper was here, Michael would have been a goner. I guess this is a plus to my boyfriend babysitting little miss bitch.
Soon enough, the guy spots me, and when we make eye contact, I move my eyes to make myself look like one of those girls who secretly has a crush but is too shy to confront them. This seems to work as he smiles and walks over to Michael and I.
"Thank you" I whisper in Michael's ear as the song ended and I pulled him into a hug. He doesn't say anything as he leaves the dance floor.
"Who was the guy?" I hear a voice and I turn to see the voice belonged to my target.
"Just a friend" I shrug
"So he wouldn't mind if I stole you for the night" he asks, pulling me close and grabs my waist
"Don't think so." I tell him and he says a short 'good' before leading me out.
Shortly after we leave the club, I hear a gunshot echoing through the abandoned street.
"Too bad you killed him so soon, he seemed nice" I sigh at Matt who brought the gun down. "Nice shot though" I say, considering how far away he was and how close I was to the guys body.
"Thanks." he says and I respond with a nod before we make our way to Nick to deliver the good news. The only thing I can think about now is how much I want to be with Viper after another man has laid hands on me. I wanted him to make me forget there was ever any trace of that guy. It's funny how that used to be Luke.

I'm back!!!!! San Francisco was amazing, but I seriously couldn't wait to get home so I could update again! Also, how's everyone doing with the whole Rolling Stone article. I hope u guys don't believe that Luke meant it to offend. Journalists twist words that make it seem like people mean one thing when they really mean another for the sake of readers to be entertained. A lot of people didn't get it, and we lost a lot of people in the fandom because of it. Anyways, how was the chapter?
