Rose's POV
I somehow managed to get away from the guy who dragged me out of the club. He wasn't so happy, but he let me leave if I promised to call him later to finish business. I wasn't going to.
Now, I have to meet the guys and tell little miss butch who gets to keep the position of baiter. Sweatpants don't help my ass.
"What took you so long?" Viper asked me as I entered the gang house.
"That guy Nick set me up with was more clingy than a girl" I explain, earning a nod from him.
"So, how did I do?" I ask, making sure to briefly look at Tayla.
"It only took you four fucking minutes. How did you do that?" Matt asks me, and I smile knowing he is impressed with my skills, much more than he was with Tayla's
"Practice. Although, ten minutes has never been a time I got. It seemed too long to make someone interested" I shrug
"You little bitch" Tayla growled
"Don't be calling me your nickname. You didn't even say it right either. It's little miss bitch" I smirk
"Who the fuck do you think you are?" she asks, getting up and walking towards me, while I do the same to her.
"Someone who can bait better than you" I say, stealing her words from hours before.
"I don't think you want to mess with me, slut" she says
"No, I don't think you want to mess with me, bitch" I say, slapping her across the face, but before either of us could go any further, Viper and Matt pull us from each other.
"No need to be catty. Rose, you could keep your position. Tayla, you and Matt will be in charge of the aftermath" Nick said, and I was pleased that little miss bitch won't be taking my position.
"At least until we figure out what you two are fully capable of" Viper says
"Wait, does that mean we are in?" Matt says
"Don't you guys have to, like, beat us up or some shit like that?" Tayla asks
"Not necessary. If you could handle little Rosey over here, that is punishment enough" Nick says
"Although, I would be delighted to give you a proper welcome, Tayla" I say
"That won't be necessary either" Matt intervenes
"Rose, can I speak to you in your room for a minute?" Viper asks me, and I sigh, knowing I am going to be lectured for my poor behavior. The bitch deserved it though.
"Fine" I say and he walks to my room, me following shortly behind him.
"Look, I know what you're going to say but she-" I start off but he doesn't let me finish
"I don't know what happened to the innocent little Rosey that I knew in California, but I'm glad she was swapped with this sassy big mouthed Rose" he chuckles, catching me off guard
"What, did you think I was going to give you some life lesson about being a bully? I'm not Nick" he adds
"So, you wouldn't mind if I, oh I don't know, murder her in her sleep?" I ask
"That I would mind. She might be an annoying ass bitch, but don't kill a gang member" he says
"Deal" I say, sort of disappointed
My mind goes to Luke, and how he would have handled this whole situation with Tayla and I. I know he would've stood by me, but than again, if Ashton was on the other, the tables would turn automatically. He would always side with Ashton, no matter what it was.
Viper is different. He stands up for me, and I guess we both changed since the last time we actually spoke in California. I like this Viper better, no matter how long it might last.
