Luke's POV
"What the fuck Ashton!" I hissed when Rose was no longer in sight
"Don't start with me Hemmings. Since when do I care the slightest about anybody in this fucking gang to run after them. Lilac can be our new baiter for the time being" he shrugs. Of course he offers his damn girlfriend the spot, the fucker.
"She can't do shit but make you happy Irwin and we both know it." I say, not giving a damn that she is in the room.
"Say that shit again, Hemmings and you'll be following your bitch out the door" he growls, his finger pointing in the same direction Rose left
"What the hell did you just call my sister?" Lilac narrows her eyes, which might I add have gotten better at glaring. Leave it to the sister to get defensive.
"I'm not dealing with two sisters in one day, Lilac, so shut the hell up!" Ashton gives Lilac a warning, one that she does not listen to
"No, I'm done listening to someone that treats me and my sister like complete shit! We all saw how I did when I last tried to fill in for Rose, and it ended nothing short of utter crap. I don't give a fuck how often the two of you bump heads because you need her, no matter how mother fucking stubborn you are to say it" to say that I was dumbstruck by the way she stood up for herself, to Ashton fucking Irwin might I add, would be an understatement. I even knew what to say to him, and that my friend, is not even close to it.
All he did, though was go up to her, grab her arms in a tight grip and kiss her quickly.
"You have no idea how fucking long I wanted to hear you say something like that Li" he says
"Looks like I'm not the only one going soft for some girl" I remark, but when I meet his glare which makes me wish I didn't say it
"Go get your girl before I change my fucking mind about her ass" he says and I nod quickly before going after Rose, hoping she will come back, seeing how stubborn she is.
Rose's POV
Fuck Ashton, Fuck Luke, Fuck Lilac. Ashton mainly because he is a fucking dick and I couldn't care less what happened to him. Luke and Lilac because neither of them decided to stick up for me. I was done with them and their shit for right now, and quite fankly, I don't plan to be apart of the gang for the time being.
I blame myself for that part because I decided to join when I needed a break from shit that happened when I was still with Viper.
"Look who we have here" speak of the fucking devil
"Not in the mood, Viper" I say, not bothering to look him in the eyes as I continue to walk away from him.
"I thought you were always in the mood" he teases, making me turn to face him, a smirk playing on his face as he knows he pulled a nerve with that one
"Nice to know he did a number on you" he says, referring to the bandage covering the giant scrape the creep gave me last night.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean Luis" I use his actual name, knowing the consequences, but I don't give a damn right now.
"Alright, one don't fucking call me that. Two, I mean that dude that knocked you out the other night. Glad I chose the right person" he says, my blood boiling by the end of the sentence.
"Viper, you have to be more clear. We both know that you were never good at explaining things" I say, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Say one more fucking sarcastic comment and I swear-" he gets cut off by Luke who looks anything but happy at the moment.
"You'll swear what, Viper" he growls, quickly moving in front of me.
"Why the hell are you always here whenever I try to have a conversation with little Rosey? Because quite frankly, it's getting pretty fucking annoying" Viper says through gritted teeth
"I guess I just know when a threat goes near my girl" Luke says, using his fucking possessive attitude, something we both know he will hear about later.
"Cute, very fucking cute I'll give you that I do believe I was solely talking to Rose" Viper tells Luke.
"And I believe I told you to stay the hell away from her last night" Luke moves closer to him, not far though before I grab his arm so he won't do anything he'll regret.
"Would you stop it." I warn him
"Damnit Rose! Stay out of this!" he yells, making me step back, "This is your fault we're even in this situation! The least you can fucking do is shut the hell up and let me fix something you obviously can't do!" he adds, and by this point, I had enough. With one last glance at Viper that we both know the meaning of, I walk away, pissed off being the biggest understatement at the moment.
Viper's POV
The look that Rose gave me made the sides of my lips curve into a smirk.
"I would love to stay and chat but the reason I was here is gone now" I say but being the bitch that he is, he didn't let me go that easily.
"I'm not going to warn you again. She is done with your shit and anyone with eyes can see that, so stay the hell away from her" he tells me
"I have two things to say about that. One, she seemed about as done with you as she is with me, so you are in no fucking position to be giving me this talk right now. Two, I shrugged the last warnings off like nothing so if you think I'm going to listen because third times the charm, than it is clear that you have no fucking clue who the hell I am" I say before walking away from him and heading around the back so he doesn't know where I'm going, and more importantly, who allowed me to go this way in the first place.

"So, what does this mean?" I ask, my arms spread out as I spot Rose leaning against a wall.
"It means I am giving you a chance to give me a real explanation for this whole thing. I don't fucking get you, Viper. As hard as I try, I can never figure you out. So, I want to know why the fuck did you come all this way, because fucking around with my sister and I is not doing it for me" she says, and damn while she's mad, that's when a wrinkle forms on her forehead and it is damn near sexy.
"Alright" I say, and she almost looks shocked
"I'm sorry, what?" she asks, her voice laced with confusion
"You're right. You deserve an explanation." I say "Nick knew where you guys went the second he found out you guys left. He has ties everywhere, which I'm sure you know, so we kept track of you. We heard you got involved with blondie and his crew and we thought 'what the fuck do those dudes have that made you stay, when they are probably the same jerks as us', so we came here with intentions to drag your asses back to California, but now we have something else in mind. Something we know you will help us with" I explain, hoping she can put two and two together, but her silence tells me she has failed to do so.
"We're forming a gang to show blondie he has nothing on us" I say, and her eyes widen.
"You better be fucking joking. You can't possibly believe that you or Nick can form a gang and expect it to grow stronger than Luke's overnight" she says, and I'm guessing Luke is blondie.
"Since the day we got here, Nick has been out looking for recruits. The only thing we need now, is a baiter" I inform her
"And you just assume that I'll help your sorry ass and go against my own sister?" she says and I gotta say, she's got a point. It's a good thing I don't give two shits about it.
"I know you, Rose and I know your hunger for revenge. Right now, I don't think that revenge is for me. I think it's for that gang that you clearly left. We both want mutual things and what's the point in keeping this away from each other" I say, shrugging like the explanation would suffice right now. Apparently I was wrong.
"Even if I did say your statement was true, what makes you think I would tell you everything I know about the gang? Or that I know anything at all?" she asks. Fuck, I forgot about the questions she asks in almost every situation.
"Don't try and say you know nothing. We both know that would be a bunch of bullshit, my little Rosey" I say.
"You're right. I do want revenge. On Lilac, on Luke, but most of all, I want revenge on the leader of that fucked up gang." she says, making me smile. "I'll give this a chance, but if you or Nick say one thing that get's on my fucking nerves, you can kiss that gang you have planned on that sorry excuse of a mind fucking goodbye" she says, only making the smile on my face grow.
"Alright" I nod
"So, what's the name of your gang, or do you even have one?" she asks
"Serpents" I say proudly.
