Leave Your Lover

Vivian's POV




"Look, Vivian," Simon sighed as he moved his gaze to me. I stood there dumbfucked for a few seconds as I let the photo sink in. I knew that I could ruin a band easily with such behavior, and that was the last thing I wanted.

"You do know that such behavior can ruin One Directions' reputation?" He asked me.


I slowly nodded my head at him.


"How long has this been going on?" Simon asked as he pointed between me and Louis.


"Just after Vivian's accident," Louis spoke for me; he knew very well that my voice would betray me.

"Dear Lord do you have no brains!?" Simon threw his hands in the air before letting them fall to his desk with a loud noise.


"Everyone thinks you're still dating Liam, then there's photos of you two going out together!" Simon exclaimed as he looked at me.


"You can be very lucky that this photo didn't go viral," Simon shook his head.


"What?" Louis frowned at Simon.


"One Direction's crew took the photo and thought it would be cute to post it online but they showed me first because they were confused about who she's dating," Simon informed us, pointing a pen to my direction. "But I stopped them,"

I knew I played a part in everything and I knew it would only be fair of me to speak my thoughts to why I didn't want to be with Liam, but I couldn't find any words. I didn't love Liam. God, I haven't even spend a few hours with him yet. I didn't know him in any way. How could I have been with someone I hardly knew?


"Vivian," Simon called for me before lifting his eyebrows. "You have to understand that I can not allow you to be with Louis," Simon spoke slowly, but the words hit me faster than the wind of a tornado.

"What?" I gasped in a small voice.

"Not for now at least," Simon shook his head.


How could I not be allowed to be with Louis? I lo-no I didn't. I liked him. A lot. For Liam though, I did not like at all.


"You're not telling me who I can be with and who not!" Louis hit the desk with his fist, making me jump.

"Let's come to an agreement?" Simon suggested as he lift his eyebrows. "Vivian," he looked at me. "Go out with Liam a few times, be seen in public, because the fans are beginning to be suspicious-"

"No!" Louis shouted, stopping Simon from finishing his sentence.


I could now have allowed the band being torn apart because of me, I wanted to avoid that from the beginning.

"Let Simon speak," I softly said as I looked at my hands in my lap.


"You're actually agreeing with this?" Louis laughed. I could feel his eyes staring at me. "God, you're just like management Simon," Louis exclaimed.


From hearing his words, I guessed that this kind of this, "management" trying to control the boys, happened a lot.


"I'm not agreeing to this Louis," I looked at him as I locked eyes. I could see the hurt and anger in his eyes; the sparkle they normally had faded. "But I'm not going to be the reason for 5 people to lose their careers," I shook my head.


"I'd rather lose my career than lose you," Louis stated angrily as his jaw tensed. I noticed the skin around his hand getting white from the fist he was making.


"Let's just hear Simon out alright?" I asked Louis with my voice was just above a whisper.


Louis stayed quiet as he stared me down, he moved his gaze from me to the desk and laid back into his chair.

"Like I was saying," Simon cleared his throat. "Spend some time with him, then we'll think of a very good reason for you two to break up, a reason that won't make the fans hate on him or you, later on you guys can make it official, how does that sound?" Simon asked as he looked at Louis.


I considered his words for a few seconds. It wouldn't have been that bad, I told myself. Just going out for an hour or so for a few days wouldn't be that hard.

"Fine," Louis sighed as he ran his hand over his face. "I don't want them kissing or anything like that," Louis looked at Simon.

His words heated my cheeks, I liked how he was so controlling and protective.


"Great!" Simon smiled. "Let's give Liam a call yeah?" He picked up as phone and dialed a number.

I looked over at Louis as Simon waited for Liam to answer his phone. I could tell that Louis wasn't happy with the idea, but it was the best thing for the situation and he understood that.


"Lou," I whispered. His head turned to me as his eyes fell on mine. "I'm yours," I told him as I laid my hand on his. He looked at me for a few seconds, then pulled his hand from mine and laid back in his chair again.


Ouch..


"Liam! This is Simon!" Simon talked into the phone with a happy tone. How could anyone be happy about such a situation? I knew it was for the best, but I wasn't happy about spending time with Liam at all. Louis wasn't either. I never wanted to make Louis unhappy.


"Come to my office right away," Simon said before cutting the call. "So," Simon looked at me with a small smile. "Liam knows about you two?" Simon asked as he looked from me to Louis.

I slowly nodded.

"Alright," he sighed. "I'm sorry about this guys,"


"I'm sure you are," Louis barked out a single sarcastic laugh.


Simon ignored Louis' comment. "Vivian, are you fine with going out with Liam tonight? There's a small funfair going on, I thought that would be ideal seeing that you and Liam went to such kind of things a lot,"

I didn't know that.. I took his words in before nodding.

"Fuck it, I'm leaving," Louis hit Simon's desk once more before jumping up to walk out of the room.


I stood up and walked after him. I saw him standing in the hall outside of Liam's office, holding his face in his hands.
