Leave Your Lover

Chapter 16

Vivian's POV

I flutter my eyes open slowly, the bright sun shining into my room through the window making me close my eyes again. I try to sit up straight but there's a heavy weight on my legs and stomach. I peak through my eyes, finding a sleeping Louis with his head on my stomach and his legs and arms wrapped around my body.

I smile at his face, he looks so humble when he sleeps. His lips are pulled up into a pout and soft snores are heard from his nose. I put my hands in his hair, combing the mess on his head. Even though it looks cute when his hair looks this messy, I'm just looking for a reason to touch him. I leave my one hand in his hair, softly massaging his head, while I trace his tattoos with my other. He doesn't have a shirt on, nor pants. Just white boxers that complements his body perfectly. His grip on my waist tightens and he cuddles his head into my chest more. I give him a soft kiss on his temple and close my eyes again, still massaging his scalp.

"Good morning, beautiful," a voice speaks to me. I keep my eyes close as I smile.

"Good morning, Louis,"

"Honey! Are you up?" My mothers voice is heard from downstairs. I jump at her voice and push Louis away from my body.

"What?" He asks with a frown. His sleepy face looks so cute.

"You slept over!" I whisper-shout at him. He cocks me an eyebrow. I roll my eyes and sigh. "In my room Louis, we slept in the same bed," I shake my head. His face turns into disappointment and he starts getting up from the mattress, but I pull him back by his arm.

"I didn't mean it like that," I whisper. He peaks at me underneath his eye lashes and sighs.

"Do you regret yesterday?" He sits back down on the bed.

"No!" I shout too eagerly. "I just," I pause, biting my lip. "What if my mother walks in?"

He laughs at me softly and pecks my lips, keeping his forehead against mine. "Babe, we've been friends since I could remember," the word 'friends' makes a shot of guilt shoot through my body. "We always have sleep overs and we sleep together too, your parents doesn't mind," he kisses my lips again.

"Oh," I look down shyly.

"Honey," my door is opened to reveal my smiling mother. She's in a good mood. I wonder if she's always this happy.

"Oh good, you're up," she claps her hands together.

"Good morning, Louis," she walks into the room.

"Morning," we say together.

"Louis' parents are coming over in an hour," she looks at Louis. "You two should get dressed," she walks back out of the room, but turns around looking at Louis and I on the bed. She sighs and shakes her head. "I'm not stupid, I know what's going on here," she eyes me.

A knot forms in my stomach and I swallow hard, looking at Louis' worried face.

"I'm not angry, love, this was about to happen sometime, and even though I like Liam, I always wanted you two to end up together. We all did, actually" she smiles at me. "But maybe end things with Liam first, alright? He phoned me this morning, he's really worried about you." She closes the door after leaving, yelling "breakfast is ready!" As she walks down the hall.

I sigh, falling back onto the bed. I know I have to end things with him. But what can I say to him? How do I explain it? How do I do this without ruining a friendship between Liam and Louis?

"You alright?" Louis breaks my train of thoughts. I peak at him with my one eye still closed, and give him a small smile.

"I'm alright," I sigh.

"Let's get ready, we can talk about Liam later," he stands, holding his hand out for me to take.

So my mother knows, and she's ok with it, but what will everyone else think about this?

I place my hand in his and he pulls me up, bumping my body into his.

"Hello," he whispers.

"Hey," I breathe, giggling.

"God, we have to start doing something else right away, before little Louis gets exited," he rolls his eyes, making me laugh. I peck his lips and escape his arms.

"This is Mr. And Mrs. Tomlinson," my mother informs me as a middle aged woman and man steps into the kitchen. "They are Louis' parents," she whispers in my ear as she walks past me.

"Hi," I smile at them.

"How are you feeling dear?" Louis' mom smiles at me, embracing me in a hug.

"I'm better," I tell her as she releases me from her arms.

"Good morning, mum, dad," Louis enters the kitchen, pecking both his parents on the cheek, then does the same to my mother.

He takes a seat next to me and puts his hand on my knee under the table, smiling at me.

"You two look cheerful this morning," Louis mom notices, smiling at us.

Louis shrugs, grabbing an apple from the fruit basket. He takes a bite, offering me one. I shake my head and turn my focus to my parents' and Louis' parents.

I wonder what his parents will think about Louis and I. What did my mother mean by 'we all did'? Who was she talking about?

"Louis put me down," I laugh as he carries me over his shoulder to the swimming pool.

"No," he sternly says.

"Please," I laugh. "I don't want to swim," I whine.

"Well, you will," he simply says, and before I have time to process his words, my body hits cold water and my adrenaline picks up.

"Louis!" I yell. He shrugs and laughs, jumping into the pool to join me.

"You're such a joker," I roll my eyes as I splash water in his face.

"You love this joker," he winks at me. I blush and swim to him, looping my arms around his neck.

"Kiss me," I breathe onto his lips. He studies my face for a few seconds and I do the same with his. He's really handsome, and I don't think I could ever get tired of his facial appearance. I love his eyes, especially.

He cups my face in his hands and pulls me closer to him, brushing his lips against mine in attempt to tease me. I smile at him and steal a kiss.

He gasps, putting a hand over his chest where his heart is. "Did you just steal a kiss from me?" He tries to keep his voice serious, but fails as soon as a breathtaking smile sneaks upon his lips.

I shake my head. "Maybe," I giggle.

"You'll pay," he breathes, pulling my head closer to his. Soft lips are placed gently on my neck and I close my eyes at the contact. He sucks lightly on a spot, making a moan escape my mouth. My eyes open and I see Perrie standing next to the pool with her hands over her mouth. I push Louis away from me looking at him.

"What?" He pulls me back to him but I back away, looking back at Perrie. He follows my gaze and his eyes fall upon Perrie's shocked face too.

"Perrie," he sighs. "Let's talk," he swims to the step of the pool.

I forgot that she's coming over tonight. How could I be so stupid!

She stands frozen on her spot and so do I.

"Come on," Louis holds his hand out for me. I slowly swim to the step and get out, he soon wraps a towel around my petite body and takes my hand, leading me to the benches next to the pool. He's making this worse by holding my hand. Can't he think to himself? I find myself wondering about Perrie's thoughts at the moment.

"Perrie," Louis calls her over as he takes a seat on a chair, pulling me down to sit next to him.

Perrie shakes her head, walking to where we're seated. She takes a seat in front of us, pulling her chair closer.

We all stay silent for a few seconds, which might I add felt like an hour. Perrie smiles excitedly and a laugh escapes her lips.

I giver her a confused look, and look at Louis to find the exact same expression on his face.

"I knew this was going to happen," she gasps looking at me. "Finally!" She talks a bit louder, clapping her hands together.

I look at Louis and frown. She's happy about it?

"Perrie, you can't tell Liam or any of the guys, please," Louis pleads.

"I won't," she giggles. "I've been waiting for you two to be together like since I've met you!" She puts one of her hands over her chest. "You're perfect for each other!"

Her words make me smile. I agree with that.

She gasps again. "How long has this been going on?"

"Yesterday when we spent time together," Louis shrugs, pulling me away from my chair and onto his lap. I hook my arms around his neck and lean into him.

"You're so cute together!" She squeals. I laugh at her words. Have they never seen me like this around Liam before?

"Oh, Louis, before I forget. The guys are having a boys night, and they asked for you to attend their evening at Zayn and mine's," she informs him.

He sighs and kisses my temple. "I'm gonna go get ready," he stands up and places me on the chair in a swift second.

I watch him leave, not wanting him to go.

"I really hope you guys work out," Perrie inhales another puff of her cigarette.

I smile at her. "Me too,"

We've spent the last few hours talking and laughing about memories which I can't remember. I have to admit, it's fun hearing all of this.

"When are you going to break up with Liam though?" She turns around on my balcony, looking at me.

I shrug and look at the twinkling fairy lights in my room. "I really don't know. I don't even know how,"

I have this feeling, that I shouldn't trust any of the people I meet in my 'new' life, not knowing how they truly are, but I feel so close and comfortable with Perrie. I can tell that we've been good friends in my 'past' life.

Perrie's phone rings, distracting me from my thoughts.

She looks at the screen and smiles.

"Hey boo,"

Her smile drops and her eyes shoot to me.

"They what!?" She yells.
"We'll be right there," she sighs.

"Let's go," she rushes into my bedroom.

"What's going on?" I rush after her.

"Liam and Louis are fighting. You can only guess about what, or should I say who," she sighs.

"Let's go!" She yells as I stand frozen on my spot.

How does Liam know? Why are they fighting about it? Are they ok? Is Louis ok?

Notes

"Isn't it ironice how we tell each other to 'stay strong' but yet we can't do it ourselves?"

I can't wait!

@LIZZY THAT GIRL
Thank you for the comment. There is going to be a second book up before Wednesday. The second book is going to be much different, there's already depressing things written from not only Louis' POV. So I'm excited about posting that chapter for you guys. I'm glad that you like this story, thank yyou for reading it. Much love dear xoxo

Throughout this whole story, I wanted Vivian to be with Louis, but as I read how Liam is heartbroken, my heart yearned for Liam. When Liam and Vivian got back together and she got her memory back, I felt my heart break for Louis. Gosh, this story got me loving both Louis and Liam. At this point, even though the story ended, I still don't know who to pick. My mind keeps going back to when Liam slapped Vivian and when Liam called Vivian a slut when they were at Zayn's house, so I don't know if I want to forgive him for that. But then again, Liam was so loving towards her and doesn't seem like he would do it again. I think Louis doesn't love her in that way. He THINKS that he loves her, but his love for her is more in a best friend way. So, I guess my mind is made up. Liam makes her happy. Liam needs her and she needs him. Liam and Vivian would be better off with each other as a couple than Louis and Vivian. I love this story! I know I have commented throughout this story, but to be honest, I started reading this story only yesterday. But overall, I love it! I love the storyline, I love the plot, I love everything about it! This is like no other story I've read before! Amazing work! Are you making a second book or making a epilogue? I think and epilogue would be better for this type of story insted of a second book unless you have more ideas coming. Once again great job on this! :)

@breadboy101
