Melissa’s POV.

I got home at 4 AM in the morning tired and hungry. I ate a yogurt and went upstairs and got to bed. I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. I woke up at 2 PM the next day and went downstairs. It was a Saturday so I amused my parents were home, they always were home on the weekends. I went downstairs still dressed in the clothes from yesterday. My parents were in the living room. Dad was watching TV while mom was designing.

Hey mom! Dad!. I said cheerily.

Sweet heart dad said and came and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

My came over and gave me a big hug. I missed you so much she said.

I know me too. I’m so glad to be home finally, but I miss my dorm. I said.

What time did you come home last night mom asked.

4 in the morning.

You must be tired mom said concerned.

I w as, but I’m fine now I said smiling

Good to know mom said and went back to her designs.

Hun Miranda called and said she’d be over in thirty minutes to take care of the furniture and stuff. Dad said looking at me.

Ok thanks I’m going to go change, I fell asleep in my clothes last night because I was so sleepy I said.

You miss Jake yet? I asked her.

Yeah I am she said still keeping her eye on the rode.

Oh and Elle just gave me a call and said that she had already set us up with the company down here. We start on Monday.

Already? I whined and she laughed.

Melissa we have to work.

I know I said. We arrived soon at the storage and went to get our key. I opened up the garage and saw all of our furniture.

What do you want to do whit these? I asked her.

Do you want to sell it and give the money back to our parents? They did buy these for us.

Sounds like a plan. Lets take pictures of these and post them on EBay. I said.

Ok and we took out our phones and took pictures of everything. Lets go to my place to start posting.

Sure she said and we drove back to my house.

Hi Miranda! My parents greeted her warmly and hugged her.

Hi George! Hi Leela I’ve missed you. They smiled at her and they talked for a little bit. We came up into my room.

Can we go into my room? Please? I miss it. Miranda said.

Ok but we’re using your lap top then. I said.

Deal she said. We went in her room and began working right away. By the time we posted the refrigerator people have already bought the chair and table which cam together, and the TV. We finished up with everything and went for a swim.

Is the water to cold Miranda said teasingly while she put on sun block.

Yeah it is you know me I hate it I said putting my toes in the water and out again multiple times. Miranda crept up behind me and pushed me into the water.

What the heck Mir! I am so going to kill you I said angry. Try to get me she said and ran around the pool LAUGHING. By the time I got out of the pool I wasn’t mad any more. I caught her and pushed her in. We had a big water fight. After a while of swimming, we went into the hot tub and just talked. We were all comfortable around each other. We were like a family. This was the same with Miranda’s family as well. I was always welcomed there and Miranda was always welcomed here. We finished up and Miranda and me decided we wanted to go out for ice-cream.
