Triggered

Real Enough

"Harry." I said with a smile. Currently he was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, the street lights eluminated the streets considering it was late. "What are you doing?" I giggle and attempted to make a move toward him.

His smile grew and he took another step back "Llaanneeyy." He sang, his green prds bright with amusment.

Despite the streetlights, my stomach tightened at the thought of darkness. My biggest phobia, and I was desprate to be in Harry's arms. I kept a smile plastered on my face so he didn't realize how terrified I really am. I couldn't shake the fact that my skin crawled more and more the firther Harry stepped away from me, away from my grasp. He smile and continued to sing out my name, his voice triggering (A/N- Ha! I put the title in somehow. That's right. I'ma boss. Don't deny it.) different pitches high and low. He seemed oblivious to the eerie feeling floating with the wind and in the air. "Harry." I tried again to get his attention but it kept feeling as though my voice faded away before reaching him. "Harry!" I didn't try to keep the panic out of my voice this time, my tone rising, desperate for his attention. He kept singing and smiling like nothing was wrong. Like I didn't look scared, like nothing seemed different and foreign around here. My eyes studied The street behind Harry, and my heart nearly stopped beating as one by one, slowly the street lamps flickered then let out sparks... Going black. This couldn't be happening. This couldn't... No. This was like something out of a horror movie. Fuck no. This was worst the a horror movie. My feet stayed planted to the ground as all I could do was watch in horror. My breathing rapidly increasing, my legs shaking. A movement in the shadows behind Harry snapped my attention away from the errie coincidence of the lamps... And I noticed a man. He was wearing a midnight colored trench coat that hung so low it dragged onto the ground. A baseball cap made it so his eyes were hidden, but the sinister smile her wore seemed terrifyingly fimilar. There was only two more street lamps left before we would be left in darkness, and seconds before the lights wet out, I watch the man bring up a hand gun... Pointing it straight at the back of Harry's head, Harry still acting like he doesn't know what's going on. The lights went black right before a loud bang echoed through the abandoned streets. "HARRY!"

"Laney, Laney! Wake up! Open your eyes!" A strong pair of arms wrapped around me, harshly trying to wale me from my slumber.

Almost instantly my eyes shot open, my breath was jagged like I had been running and I could feel my skin was clammy with sweat. i took in my surroundings, confused as to wear I was. I moved my fi gers feing a bed spread wedged in between them indicating I was fisting the sheets. The blankets were wrapped around me like a cocoon and I felt claustrophobic. My feet kicked at the sheets until they tumbled off of me and onto the floor. Tears brimmed my eyes as I looked up to meet to concerned face of Harry. His arms were stilled tightly encasing me protectivly, and I buried my face in his bare chest and cried. "Harry." I sobbed like a baby and for once I didn't care. Harry was safe. He was safe. I was in his arms, where I should be. Reluctiantly my hand creeped up the feel the back of his head. My index finger prying through his maze of curls, making sure there was no bullet hole. His head was fine. No wound. Perfect.

"Laney, baby what happened?" He whispered. Kissing my temple mulitpul times.

To be honest, I was still trying to figure that out myself. The nightmare jad combined two of my biggest fears. Darkness... And loosing Harry. My mind lingered on the Baseball cap Stranger. I had barely seen any of his features, just his smile. His smile seemed so fimilar... And that scared me more then anything. The fact that I had no idea who my mind made kill Harry... The only person who would cross my mind like that is- Oh, my god. Robert. The Baseball cap Stranger was Robert. No wonder his smile was painfully fimilar. My mind had played the worst trick on me yet. It screwed me up, and I couldn't even speak as my eyes spilled more tears into Harry's chest.

Lajdksakdjf!!! I'm dying over here! I can't believe Louis said that! Sounds like he doesn't like her, like he hates her f.cling guts. I cannot believe what I just read!

I swear. Every story I've read where the girl is sick and throwing up, she always ends up being pregnant! It never fails. Guess I can add this story to the list lol. Everyone saw that coming. Great update though. I wonder how Robert is going to react to this. He's going to go bat-sh.t crazy!

@xXDelaneyXx
Lol, no. I loved it. It's just that it wasn't anywhere near sad compared to the last chapter lol.
