Harry's POV

"Mate your phone's ringing." Niall yelled from the couch. I rolled out of bed and grabbed my phone from the kitchen counter. I answered without looking at the caller ID.

"Hello?"

"I'm sorry, did I wake you?" Her melodic voice rang through phone and I felt myself smiling instantly. She sounded panicked though which worried me.

"Yeah but it's okay. What's wrong?" I sat down on the couch next to Niall he was focused on something on his phone.

"I told him about the baby and he lost it. He stormed out of the house and now we can't find him. He won't answer his phone and Ashton's out searching for him. He hates me." She began to cry and I felt my heart break.

"He doesn't hate you. It's a lot to take in, he's probably just overwhelmed. He's probably still shocked that you showed up after being gone for so long. He needs time." I couldn't believe I was giving the girl of my dreams advice to be with another guy.

"What if he can't forgive me for leaving?" She sounded so sad when she spoke.

"He will but maybe if you do some kind of grand gesture, he'll warm up to you a little faster."

"A grand gesture?"

"Yeah. Write him a song and sing it to him. It works on girls, I'm sure it would work on Luke."

"You're a genius!" She shouted into the phone, making me laugh. I loved it when she got excited.

"Thanks, I get that a lot." She laughed and it was the most beautiful sound.

"I'll see you in like a month. Good luck on the beginning of the tour!"

"Thanks Rose, talk you later." I hung up and Niall was laughing at me already.

"What?"

"You so love her." He was smiling like an idiot at me.

"I do not." I shoved him away from me, hoping he would stop looking at me like that.

"Then why did you make her stay with you? Why do you text her all the time? You love her."

"Shut up."

"Are you worried she won't like you back?"

"She doesn't like me back, she likes him. She'll never like me back after what happened. "

"You're a different person than you were then. What you did wasn't okay but you've changed." He was right about that. After what I did to Rose, I stopped drinking and began to see a therapist. She would never forgive for what I did and I didn't blame her.

"She'll never be able to forget what I did though."

"She might. You have to earn her trust and forgiveness. Maybe even take your own advice and do a grand gesture."

"She loves him Ni. She'll always love him." He patted my back and gave me a sad look.

"I know."

I got up and headed back to room. I flopped down on the bed with a sigh. I was no longer in the mood to get up and do anything.

She had only been gone for a day and I missed her already. I knew she didn't want to be with but I wanted to spend every second with me. It was dumb of me to think that she could ever like me. I was a monster. She should hate me. She should be with someone like Luke, who would make her happy.

It broke my heart to think of her with someone else though. I wanted her to be mine more than anything and it sucked that it would never happen.
