Crazy

I tell Sidney I was going to wait for her in the living room while she goes up to change. I sit down on the couch and prop my feet up on the coffee table and relax a bit. A smile comes across my face as I think of her. I can’t believe she is actually mine; I can officially call her my girlfriend. To pass the time, I grab my laptop and work on a paper I had to finish. Thoughts of Sidney went through my mind the whole time I work on my paper but I surprisingly finish, all four of the pages.

The next time I look, I notice Sidney standing there a small smile on her face. I smile as I look over at her. Damn, she’s gorgeous. She wore a tank top and some skinny jeans that were ripped out in the knees, hair damp from taking a shower I suppose. I close my laptop and set it on the coffee table before I sit up and motion for her to come over to where I was.

“Hope you don’t mind I took a shower, wanted to freshen up and change from the outfit I wore earlier,” she mutters as she slowly moves forward and takes a seat beside me. I can’t help but take in her scent as she sits down.

I shake my head and smile, “No,” I tell her, “I don’t mind at all, babe,” I finish and wrap an arm around her shoulder so I can pull her into me. I feel her scoot a bit closer and wrap one of her small arms around me. “Plus, you smell good,” I mumble as I lean over to her and press a kiss to her cheek.

“Thanks,” she mutters with a smile and cuddles into my side. I wrap my arm a bit tighter around her as I pull her against me and kiss the top of her head.

“No problem, love,” I tell her. There is silence between us for a few minutes before I decide to speak again.

“Want to watch a film?” I ask as I look at her and smile a bit. She smiles a bit and nods her head slowly as I lean in and brush my lips against her smooth skin on the side of her neck. It didn't seem to bother her with my forward actions. I pull away slowly until I was looking into her eyes, her bright blue ones I could stare into for days on end, a smile on my face as I look at her.

“Want to go pick a few to watch, yeah?” I ask as I sit up a bit and take her hand in mine, lacing my fingers with hers.

“Sure,”

I stand up and pull her up so she was standing beside me. She smiles a bit as I begin to make my way over to we kept the films, Sidney at my side. As we reach the cabinet, I pull it open and begin to look through all of the selections we had. There were so many rows of endless titles to choose from.

“We’ll pick two each and then decide from there, yeah?” I question as I look at her.

“Sounds good to me,” she replies with a smile. I nod my head slowly as I begin to look for which ones I wanted to watch. I soon pick out The Avengers andStep Brothers, which were two films I liked fairly well. I couldn’t quite catch onto which two Sidney picked out but I’m sure I will find out soon.

After we pick them out, we make our way back into the living room. I sit down on the couch and pull on Sidney’s hand so she could sit beside me. She takes a seat beside me and I pull her into my side, arm resting on her waist.

“What ones did you pick?” I ask as I look at her and set my movies down on my lap. I follow her gaze to the films that were in my lap and I see a smile appear on her face and notice her shake her head and roll her eyes at my choices.

“I picked these,” she says and sets the ones she picked on her lap. One of them was The Holiday and the other was 21 Jump Street, which was one of my favorite films. I’ve only caught a small glimpse of The Holiday once when I walked in the living room to see Claire and Brae watching that. Thinking of it, I think it’s actually hers that she left here but it was whatever.

“Which one you want to watch first?” she asks as she looks at me. I take her hand in mine and lace my fingers with hers. A smile overtakes her face as she looks at me and I can’t help but return the smile as she lightly squeezes my large hand that covered her small one.

“Uh, doesn’t matter to me. The Avengers alright? Then one of the others?” I ask as I set them down on the coffee table in front of me. She nods her head and tells me that’s fine with her before leaning forward and placing the cases next to the ones I picked out. I lean over and give her a kiss on the cheek before I get up so I can put the disc in the player.

After I put the disc in, I go back and take my spot beside the beautiful girl beside me. I grab the remote and turn the telly on. Once the flat screen comes to life, I press the button on the DVD remote so we can start watching the film. I manage to pull Sidney close to me and smile a bit when she leans toward me, her head on my shoulder.

I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her close as the film starts. Every so often, I would find myself pressing a kiss to her cheek and tightening my arms around her even more. I smile to myself as I keep my eyes on the screen before me but I can’t help but think of how lucky I am to finally be a part of her life, to have her with me now. The smile widens on my face a bit when I feel her tighten her grip on my hand and squeeze it a bit.

I try my best to keep my focus on the screen in front of me, but that is the one thing I didn’t want to focus on right now. She is the prime thing I want to be focused on right now and I didn’t care about anything else. I don’t think I have ever felt so strongly about anything or anyone before I met her. I pull her closer and lace my fingers with hers best I can. She smiles a bit as she leans up to look at me.

“You’re beautiful, Sid,” I mutter in her ear, a smile playing on my lips.

“Hush, Styles, quit distracting me, trying to watch a movie,” she replies with a slight chuckle and pushes me a bit in the shoulder. I smile and laugh a bit as I push her back slightly.

“Can’t help it, and I think you’re the one who’s distracting me, babe,” I whisper as I begin to tickle her sides, earning a light punch on my arm, along with the enjoyable yet endless giggles that left her mouth. That sound makes an audible laugh escape my lips. Her laugh was so contagious; I can’t get enough of it. I’m incredibly glad I can make her this way, happy. She deserves this, so much.

Before too long, we turn our focus back on the movie and even share a few kisses in between. This felt good, being here like this with her, it felt right. Plus, I was happy, which was grand as well. We have a good time and watch the rest of the film before we begin to watch another one.

We are a little ways into the second one, 21 Jump Street when we get interrupted. I let out an annoyed sigh from my lips and reach for the remote so I can pause the film. I glance to my right to find Braden standing there, with Claire by his side.

“Hey, Harry! Oh, hey Sidney!” Claire exclaims with a smile.

“Hey Haz, hey Sidney,” Braden says with a slight wave.

“Hey,” I mutter along with Sidney who has a small hint of a smile on her face.

“What’s going on, Haz? Sorry if we interrupted, man,” Braden says and looks at me before I notice him glance at Sidney. Her cheeks were a light shade of pink as I look over at her.

“No worries mate; we were just watching a film. What’s goin’ on with you two?” I ask as I look at him and Claire.

“Sounds ace. Which one? Thinkin’ bout goin’ out later and gettin’ some drinks. Want to come along?” Braden asks, looking at each of us.

Before I open my mouth to give him an answer, I look at Sidney who sat beside me. We stare at each other for a moment and I get a slow nod from her along with a hint of her cute smile.

"Mind if we join in and watch with you?" Claire asks and looks at me before I notice her look over at Braden beside her. I shake my head and look over at Sidney for an answer. She mutters a soft "sure" and I pull her close and smiles a bit. We all enjoy the rest of the movie and have a pretty good time. Just thinking about it, I can already tell it's going to be a fun night.
