Until Next Time (Liam Payne)

Two words. Two words that made me feel like a school girl and all giddy inside.
Breathe
Hi you.
Seriously! Is that the best I can do?
Are you able to talk? Face time? Skype?
Remember when I said I wasn't social media savvy . . .To do list - call nieces and set up face time and Skype.
Lets talk.
Seconds later my phone rings.
The British accent. Pleasantries said. He asked how my day went and I told him of the traveling I would do and how excited I was. I never really traveled before so this was a new adventure for me. He was genuinely happy for me. I then asked how his was. Most of his was spent at an airport but was excited because he was headed home for a few days, hopefully to relax and see family. Mom, Dad and two sisters. Working family. Same here - mom, dad, two sisters.
To discuss what happened over the weekend or not . . . hmmmm, I think I'll let him bring it up.
"About the weekend...."
So he is going to bring it up, will he say it was a mistake? That he's sorry?
"I don't normally behave like that".
"Neither do I. I was totally impulsive and let my guard down."
"Good thing I'm not an axe murderer".
"Dressed in Bat Man sleep wear?".
"About that. . . ".
By now I had started giggling and broke the awkwardness of the subject.
"In all seriousness though, that is not how I usually pursue a girl. I would like to be given a chance to do it properly."
Heart fluttering, feeling faint.
"I would like that."
"So you're going to be in Vegas? Want to meet there? Where will you be staying?"
"I believe the Bellagio. Is that one good? I haven't checked into it yet?"
"Yes, very nice. So then we'll meet there. Just a warning, I will not be able to stay long due to scheduling dates but will stay as long as I can get away with?"
We talked more, mostly small talk. Getting to know you facts. Favorite colors, ice cream, foods.
"Oh, don't believe everything you hear and read. Please talk to me before you believe anything. There is some pretty sick stuff said about me out there. And don't believe everything you see. Photo shop is pretty sophisticated now."
"OK, is there something I should know right off the bat?" So I don't get blind sided?".
"Yes, I was photographed last weekend with a really pretty girl getting into a limo with me. Now that is true."
At first it took me off guard, but then I realized the girl was me. He said I was pretty.
I have been told I was pretty, but I guess its like most people, we just don't see it. Long, somewhat wavy brown hair, greenish brown eyes, short petite frame. I think I have a friendly face and a friendly smile - four years of braces helped with that. I guess you could say I have a natural beauty, I don't wear much make up. I had my boyfriends in high school and college but nothing I would have considered serious. This "relationship" was not my norm. I was way out of my comfort zone and was loving every minute of it.
I was set to be in Vegas in two weeks Sunday through Saturday, working Monday through Thursday. He would arrive Thursday after lunch sometime and would probably have to leave Friday afternoon/night. So I had two weeks. A lot can happen in two weeks. Do I plan for the worst so I wont be so terribly upset when it doesn't pan out or do I live each moment to the fullest and enjoy the fourteen days leading up to seeing him again.
I will live it to the fullest.
