*Savannah's POV*
This can't be real, I must be dreaming, it's impossible. Just last week Liam told me he had no clue when he would be home but he knew it wouldn't be anytime soon, and yet, here he is sitting on his living room couch smiling over at me waiting for me to react. I run over to the couch and practically jump on him, giving him a huge hug, I cannot believe that he is actually here right now. "LI!" I say full of excitement "You're here, like you're actually here" I say still holding him tightly. His big arms wrap around me tightly, I can tell that he has been working out. "Hey Sav" he says softly, his deep voice echoing in my ears "Yep, I'm really here" he whispers and kisses my head. I finally let him go, as I sit up straight still straddling him a tear slips my eye "No don't cry" he says with a small chuckle and wipes my tears "You're supposed to be happy silly" he says with a laugh and pokes my nose. "I am happy Li, I am beyond happy" I say, I can't seem to stop smiling. I take a second to just look over his features, his hair has changed, his jaw line is more defined, he has without a doubt grown up; he's no longer my mop headed dorky best friend that I know and love. "I missed you" he says softly "I've missed you more" i say and give him another hug,but pull away when I hear a clicking noise. Of course, his mom is taking a picture of us we both laugh a bit and I then realize the position that we are in and quickly get off of his lap before his parents comment. This isn't all that weird for Li and I, we are pretty comfortable around each other so it doesn't really matter, but all our lives our parents have been planing on us getting married and having six kids, I don't know where in the world they got that number from....
After a few minutes we go upstairs to his room to hang out and catch up "Now wait, what happened to you not coming home anytime soon?" I ask him with a small laugh as we sit on his bed, he is laying back and I am sitting next to him, running my fingers through his hair and scratching his head; he always loves it when I do that for some reason. "Well, I wanted to surprise you, so I made our families keep it a secret" he says and smiles up at me "Wait, so even my family knew?!" I ask in shock and he just nods and laughs at my expression. We catch up for a bit and he tells me all about his tour and I talk to him about university etc. and after a bit we decide to watch a movie. It is not a surprise when I see that Liam chose Toy Story, it has always been his favourite, I swear he knows that movie better than the writers do. He changes quickly into some sweat pants and a t-shirt, a common look for Liam when he is at home. Liam then comes back and gets under the covers and pulls on my arm "Lay down Sav" he says and I comply, I get under the covers and lay down next to Liam. I've missed our movie nights, we used to do this all night on the weekends, we would stay up countless hours watching whatever movies we could. The AC kicks on and I shiver a bit "You cold Sav?" he asks me and I nod, he pulls me closer to him and wraps an arm around me. "Better?" he asks "Much" I respond and lean into him, he is so warm that I instantly feel warmer. We watch the movie for a bit and after about an hour I notice that Liam has fallen asleep, poor thing he is probably exhausted from flying home, and I know he doesn't get much sleep on tour. I smile at how adorable he is when he sleeps, he reminds me of a baby, so peaceful and innocent.
I look at the time and see that it is getting close to dinner, so I do my best to get out of Liam's arm, but it's a lot harder than it used to be. I finally manage to get free without waking the sleeping beauty and head downstairs. I go to say bye to his mom not wanting to intrude on their dinner but she quickly insists that I stay, of course I say yes. " So wheres Liam?" she asks me "Sleeping beauty?" I joke "Oh he fell asleep in the middle of Toy Story. Both of his parents gasp "No way! He never sleeps during that movie" his mom says and I laugh "I know right, either something has happened to our Liam or that tour must really wear him out" I say. His mom finishes cooking dinner and asks me to go wake Liam, so I walk up the stairs to his room. I smile when I see how peaceful he is and feel bad for having to wake him, but I know he is probably starving. I walk over to him and sit where I was before "Li, time to wake up" I say and shake him softly, I hear a mumbled groan but he doesn't budge. "Liam" I say and shake him a bit more firmly, still not a move. "Liam James Payne get your lazy but up unless you don't want any dinner" I say and shake him even harder, finally he shoots up "Food? did you say food? Is dinner ready?!" he asks as happy as a kid in a candy store "Yes lazy sheesh, now get up" I say with a smile "You should've said food to begin with" he says with a laugh and wraps an arm around me as we walk downstairs. I laugh and shake my head "Your looks may have changed but you're still my dorky, food obsessed Liam" I say with a smile as we sit at the table for dinner.
