Sweet Disposition

The Vow

THIRD PERSON (ORIGINAL POV)

"Harry, are you okay?" Zayn pestered Harry for about the third time today. He knew it had been a while since he'd had any significant memories come back, but really Harry has been going quite well, dealing with his nearness to Louis and the new found fame that came along with his being in a world famous boy band.
"Yes Zayn, I'm fine, just like I was fifteen minutes ago." Harry turns away from him but watches him from the corner of his eye. Zayn had been giving Harry a silent inspection, checking for emotional wariness or any sign of hurt.
Harry huffs and gets off of the couch, being constantly worried about and watched over makes him feel like a baby, being the youngest of the boys, he'd gotten enough of the 'baby treatment' from them already. Zayn and Niall are both at Louis and his flat, Liam decided to spend the day out. Everyone has been a bit wary of his and Danielle's relationship, they've not really been fighting, but a bit off. Liam has been a bit mopey because he doesn't see her enough and it's been a bumpy road the past few days.

"Lou?" Harry calls, searching the flat for his mate.
Stopping by his bedroom door he gives a soft knock, "Lou?" A shuffling comes from behind the door and Harry smiles a bit.
"You can come in." Louis' voice soft and calm, Harry has been falling for Louis even harder these days. His melodic and soft voice just being one of the many things he'd come to love about the older boy.

He pops his head in first and then brings the rest of his body around the door.
"Harry, is everything alright?" Louis wears a concerned look, like something terrible is about to happen, which in return, worries Harry.
"Y-Yeah, everything is fine. I just, umm… Zayn was watching me like a hawk and I didn't know where you were and uhm.. yeah." Harry stumbled over his words, his nervousness kicking in as he watched Louis move about the room, folding shirts and placing them in his draw. He gives Harry a smile, his beautiful blue eyes shining. He doesn't give a reply, a smile sufficed.

Harry wills his legs to propel him forward, bringing him to Louis' bed. He sits near the edge and continues to watch Louis move.
His movements were fluid and easy, he had a grace about him that Harry admired. Louis carried himself in a way that Harry had never seen in anyone before. At least not in someone so close to his own age. Louis was confident but still knew his faults, and although they were indeed faults, he accepted them and knew what he lacked or had the perfect amount of. He knew who he was, and it's not everyday you meet someone who can accept themselves the way Louis did… or seemed to.

"Lou, do you think we could watch a film tonight?" Harry had been thinking of a good excuse to have some time with just Louis. The rest of the boys had been over at theirs nearly everyday for the past week.
"Sure, I'll call up Liam and see if he wants to join." Louis hadn't expected Harry to want alone time with him, the thought not even crossing his mind. Harry had a tendency of distancing himself and then snapping right back to Louis' side. He never knew how close Harry wanted to be, if he wanted the closeness they had as friends or the intimacy they had as a couple. Harry never talked about his intent when he did sit closer to Louis than necessary or remained touching a part of him, whether it be knee to knee or his fingers brushing against his arm, Harry was almost always keeping some form of contact with him. Which both confused and excited Louis. He loved that Harry wanted to be so close to him, but failed to know why or what his intent was.

"Actually, umm.. I was- I.. I was hoping maybe you and I could…" Harry trailed off, his voice quieting down, a slight flush of pink reaching his cheeks.
Louis turned to the younger boy, smiling lightly as he saw the blush on his cheeks. "Oh, yeah, of course. I'd like that." Harry's smile grew, his dimples showing proudly.

Harry leaned back on Louis' bed, propping himself up by his elbows. "Do you have a film in mind?" Louis asked, turning to face Harry once again. However his eyes were traveling along Harry's never ending torso. His t-shirt riding up, exposing a bit of the waistband from his boxers and a sliver of pale skin above it.

Harry smirked as he took notice in Louis' failed attempt at not checking him out.
"Not really," he stated simply, continuing to watch Louis' eyes roam over his body shamelessly.
"You're really bad at hiding the fact that your basically eye-raping me you know." Harry's voice held a humorous tone, letting out a bit of a laugh once he finished speaking.
Louis' cheeks darkened and he looked away, embarrassment getting the better of him. He'd been trying his best not to make Harry uncomfortable, but there were times when it was too much to handle and his hormones got the better of him.
"S-sorry." Louis turned to his dresser, stuffing in yet another shirt, trying to get his blush to fade as fast as possible.

Harry only laughed, the fact that Louis tried so hard to make it seem like Harry and he had a normal relationship was a bit laughable, but then again, a pain. Sometimes Harry wanted to feel like he and Louis had been together for ages, like they never had to change anything because he forgot so many memories. He wanted it to be like it used to, from what he remembered of how it was before his accident.

Louis shot a quick text to Zayn saying he and Harry would be watching a movie tonight and Harry wanted it to be just the two of them. Zayn replied quickly, since he was just a room away and said he'd take Niall to Nandos and they would be out of their hair.

"Do you have something picked out yet? You've been deliberating between the two for nearly ten minutes." Louis wasn't necessarily impatient, but he really just wanted Harry to choose a damn movie and get in the bed.

"Okay, fine, let's go wiiiiiiith, 'The Vow'." Louis immediately thought it was a bad idea and cursed the fact that they even owned the movie.
"Harry, I'm not sure… You know what it's about, I don't want you to get upset. Let's watch the other one." Harry looked up at Louis, he knew the movie was about a girl losing her memory, but that was mostly why he wanted to watch it.
"Louis, I know, and I'll be fine. Really, I won't get upset… or do you really want to watch 'Wind In The Willows'?" Harry raised an eyebrow at the older boy, knowing he would rather watch a romcom.

"Fine, but if you get upset we're turning it off." Louis prayed that this film would go over well. Harry let out an excited squeal as he popped the disc in the dvd player.
Louis laughed at his childishness, Harry was finally comfortable around him.
Harry crawled onto Louis' bed and got under the duvet, wriggling around to get comfortable.
He laid close to Louis, closer than necessary, but he wanted his warmth and liked to have some sort of physical contact with him. He carried the fear of Louis disappearing or his memory of him fading away and for him, just a small sensation of their bodies touching calmed him.

With Louis' close proximity and the overwhelming rush of memories flying at Harry while he watched the movie playing on the screen before him, he could feel a torrent of emotions flooding through him. At first it he wasn't sure if he would cry so he did all he could to keep away from Louis' gaze.
But that soon failed when Channing Tatum broke down in the film and told Rachel McAdams that he wouldn't give up and that he would do whatever he could to make her fall in love with him. Harry watched with silent tears streaming down his face, his heart pounding in his chest and he couldn't help but want to turn a bit to his right and envelope Louis in a hug.

"Har.. are you crying?" Louis questioned, sitting up on the bed now concerned for Harry.
Harry shook his head, not wanting Louis to turn the film off or be upset for him for wanting to watch it in the first place.
"Yes you are, look at me." Harry knew he couldn't get away with lying when his face would give him away. Pink cheeks, puffy, glistening eyes, runny nose.
He looked up slowly, blinking his damp eyelashes, letting the moisture that clung to them fall away and travel down his face.
"Harry." Was all Louis could say before Harry wrapped his arms around Louis and held him close. His tears subsiding slowly. Truthfully he wasn't sad or mad, he was thankful. He was happy to have someone like Louis in his life, someone who stuck by him and wasn't giving up on what they once had.
"T-Thank you." Harry hiccuped slightly. Louis just ran his fingers through the back of Harry's curls, soothing the younger boy.
"I do love you Louis. I know I do." Harry held onto Louis even tighter, not wanting him to leave him.
Louis pulled back from their embrace to look at Harry properly. As he did he smiled, because despite his tear stained face and teary eyes, he knew Harry's words were genuine, he knew that Harry did love him.
"I love you too Harry." Louis dried Harry's eyes and cheeks with a tissue and then took him into his arms once again.
