Harry's Pov:
Dec. 28, 2012
I could feel myself fall, it was quick and I was immediately met with a hard surface. I opened my eyes, but the bright lights caused me to squint them. I stood up from the floor and found Niall sitting on my bed. I stood up and threw my blanket at Niall, no longer sleepy. I remembered the barbeque and felt a sudden rush of excitement and anticipation. "Did you need something Niall?" I said heading for my suitcase to get a clean outfit for today. "I was jus' wondering if I could get Kat's number." I quirked my head sideways. Why would he want Kat's number?
"C'mon mate, I forgot to get Lu's number so I need Kat to give it to me." That's why. "Ohh. Sure mate." I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone, unlocked it, and typed her number into his phone. "Thanks mate." Niall said already typing away at his phone as he walked out of my room. I noticed that Kat hadn't replied to my last message yet. Maybe she still hadn't woken up, we did get home pretty late after-all. I locked my phone and went into my en-suite.

After getting ready I headed into the kitchen where El and Dani were helping Liam make breakfast. I made myself a cup of tea and headed into the sitting room, where Niall was typing away at his phone. I sat down on the couch and got the control, switching channels until I found something interesting. I settled on reruns of I Love Lucy.
Soon after, Louis plopped himself on the couch next to me and we began a match. "Guys, breakfast is ready." Dani called from the kitchen. I paused the game and we all got up to serve ourselves breakfast. El came back with Perrie and Zayn still half asleep and stumbling on the way. We all went back to the sitting room and had breakfast together as we talked about our night. I mostly listened, enjoying all the smiles on my friends faces. To see the people I loved happy, made me feel truly happy and grateful for my life.
I excused myself and gave El and Dani a kiss on the cheek, thanking them for breakfast. I headed into my room and got my phone, noticing I had three messages. The first was from my mum, congratulating me for our awards last night. The other two were from Kat. I instantly smiled and opened my messages.
JJ- it means just jesting. I use it instead of like, jk :P
Don't forget to tell everyone to bring bathing suits/swim trunks. You guys can come over whenever, we'll get there at around 10. the address is: 4329 Cedar way., Hollywood, CA 90214 :)
I smiled at her first message. I went to my suitcase and grabbed my swim trunks and placed them on the bed. I went back out to the living room and told everyone too get ready and to not forget their bathing suits. Everyone went back to their rooms and Perrie went back to her suite with little mix to tell them and get ready. I went back into my room and changed into my swim trunks putting some loose jeans over them. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys and placed them in my jean pockets. When I got to the living room, all the lads where ready and we were just waiting on the girls. I pulled out my phone to text Kat back.
We'll be there soon love :) Why do you use jesting?
within seconds I had a reply from Kat.
Great! And well, one day, my sister and I were watching an episode of a cartoon we used to watch and they said it and we decided that we'd begin to use it instead of: kidding.

"Is that your girlie friend Harold? That's not even a question. Of coarse it is. You could just tell by his dopey smile." Louis' voice interrupted me just as I was about to reply to Kat. I felt my cheeks immediately blush. What?! I'm blushing?! I DON'T BLUSH!! "Leave him alone Lou! I think it's adorable that Harry is so smitten by Kat." El said smacking Louis in the chest. I groaned because now everyone was in the sitting room and had obviously heard Louis' comment. I looked up and all the girls, including little mix, were already here and ready to go. "Can we just head out now?" I said standing up. Everyone else got up and grabbed their essentials as we made our way out.
We met Paul in the lobby and he led us to the back exit where our cars were waiting. We were taking three cars. Paul, Liam, Dani and I in the first car; Louis, Eleanor, Zayn, and Niall in the second car; and little mix in the third car. I handed the driver the address and we led the way as the other two cars followed.

Core's Pov:
Oh God. The pain. I am never drinking again! "Rise and shine Babe! We have the family barbeque. Take these aspirins. We don't need your mom seeing you like this." I felt Sky hit my butt then heard her as she made her way out of my room. I groaned and sat up. I grabbed the aspirin she set on my night stand and took them with the glass of water she placed next to them. I made my way out into the open area where the sitting room was and found the girls sitting on the couch. I grabbed a plate with pancakes and poured syrup on them. I plopped myself down on the recliner and began eating. Room service at this hotel was heavenly!
"Did you have fun last night Core?" I looked up to where Lu was sitting next to Kat. She soon after picked up her phone, typed, and then set it down again only to pick it up seconds later. "I honestly can't remember much." I said going back to my pancakes. Kat laughed before going back to her oatmeal. "We should start getting ready. It's almost 9 and we don't know how bad traffic is." We nodded our heads in agreement with Lu and finished our breakfast. We all went to our rooms to get ready. It was pretty warm so I settled for some shorts and a tank. I got my bathing suit out of my suitcase and changed. I brushed my hair and it was surprisingly straight and calm. I laced up my shoes and grabbed my purse, placing my phone, wallet, and leys in it. I placed my bag on my shoulder and grabbed my glasses off the vanity.
Kat was munching on some berries as she sat on the couch lacing up her booties. Lu walked out a moment later typing away at her phone screen again. "Can one of you carry my wallet and keys?" Lu asked looking up at up. I extended my hand out and she gave me a cheesy smile. I just chuckled and sat down next to her. Just as I sat down, Sky walked out. Really?! I huffed and stood up wit the rest of the girls as we made our way out. We insisted that we didn't need security and since we know how to get to Kat's parent's house, we were allowed to drive. Kat sat in the rental car and sighed contently. "It feels so good to be behind the wheel again." She smiled turning to all of us. There were a few fans outside so we stopped and talked to them for a bit before excusing ourselves. The freeway was surprisingly vacant so we got there only 10 minutes past 10.
We greeted our parents and helped them set up. All the dads were setting up the grill and separating the meat they were going to do first. Our moms went inside, to the kitchen, and were preparing the salads and pastas. Sky went to heat up the pool and Lu helped me bring out the game tables. Kat had gone to get Barbie and Ken and probably Prince as well. After everything was set up Lu and I joined Sky at the pool. We dipped our feet in and sighed at the war water contact. We could see Kat running around with Barbie, Ken, and Prince. She really missed them. They tackled her to the grass and were licking her all over. She was laughing really loud and we all laughed at the scene. We then heard multiple other laughs behind us. I whipped my head around and there, outside the screen door was One Direction, little mix, Eleanor, and Danielle. What?
