Sky's pov:
Performing was amazing. We had done performances here and there, but none of them compared to that. Once we were escorted outside the people with head sets came to unwire us. Soon after that was done Drake Bell came up to us. "You guys were amazing!" He said giving us a hug. Carly Rae Jespen was right behind him. She also congradulated us but excused herself because she had to go prep for her performance.
"Well ladies, I hope to see you at the after party." He smiled giving us each a hug and kiss on the cheek, seeming to linger a bit more on Lu's cheek.
After he left we changed back into our dresses. We went back to our seats and sat down just as The winner for best country album was announced. Kat yelled and clapped very loudly when Lady Antebellum won with their album Own the Night. They are probably her second favorite group, her favorite being the Rascal Flatts. She loves them.
A few more awards were announced then Carly Rae Jespen and Owl City performed their new song. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MXvWl8kDXQ). After they perfomed, it was time for Best New Artist. Oh My God. We were nominated for this one. You could visibly see us all sitting at the edge of our seats. We were all holding hands. Kelly Clarkson and Drake were announcing this award. You could see Kat begining to have an anxiety attack. Other than the fact that we were even nominated for this award, if we won she would be on the same stage as Kelly Clarkson. She is probably one of Kat's biggest idols. Kat was sitting next to me and I could feel her hand getting clammy. To my left was Lu and to Lu's right was Core.

Kat's pov:
We were all holding hands awaiting the result of Best New Artist. This one along with Artist of the Year were one of this years biggest awards. In this category we were up against Carly Rae Jespen, Amelia Lily, Niki Minaj, and the Band Perry. My hands were begining to get clammy. I was getting so anxious. I wanted to go back to my old habit, and bite my nails. I started to tap my nails against the arm rest. "And the Best New Artist is.." said Kelly Clarkson opening the envelope. Both her and drake looked at the envelope and screamed into the microphone "life-line!" My jaw dropped. We all jumped up and huddled jumping up and down as well as screaming. We walked up to the stage and everyone was congradulating us on the way. I was in tears and shaking by th etime we got to the stage.
I gave Drake a hug first then I gave one to Kelly Clarkson. OH MY GOD! I AM HUGGING MY FREAKING IDOL!!! "Congradulations her and Drake said giving us a big smile then walking backstage. "Thankyou so much!" said Sky into the microphone. She handed the award to Core who had tears in her eyes. "Oh my god. I can't believe we actually won this! It's all because of our fans and supporters." Core handed the award to Lolly who had tears in her eyes. Out of us, Lolly is probably the one this means the most to. It has been her dream to sing since we were little. "Thank you all so much. This is unbelievable. We never thought we would make it this far when we first got together, so thankyou very much for making my dream come true. And I want to thank my best friends who made this come true." Lolly said turning to us.
She handed me the award but my hands were shaking so hard and were so sweaty I couldn't even hold it and ended up dropping it. Luckily it didn't break or get dented. Sky picked it up. "You hold it" I told sky not wanting to drop it again. I cleared my throat to speak into the microphone. "Om my gosh. Thankyou so much for this. This is just..EPIC!" I said the girls laughing behind me. "And if anyone has been watching recent interviews and such you have noticed I tend to use the word epic A Lot." The crowd laughed at this. "But it's just because It's the one word that perfectly describes this whole experience. Amazing, Incredible just aren't enough. So thankyou to everyone who has made all of this possible for us." I said with a final smile. Everyone clapped as we walked off stage, Whipping my tears on the way.
The next award was Best Album. We were nominated for this one but we knew we wouldn't win. I mean we were up against One Direction, Adele, KELLY CLARKSON!, Maroon 5, Fun, and Katy Perry. Will.i.am announced this award. "And the winner is ... One Direction!" The boys came from backstge and accepted their Award. They thanked all their fans then were escorted backstage again.
Drake and Carly came back out to announce the next announcers. "Ladies and Gentlemen.." Started Drake, "Here is Katy Perry to announce Artist of the Year." said Carly finishing the statement off. Katy Perry's song The One That Got Away began to play as she walked onto stage. "Well, I am honored to be presenting Artist of the Year. Now this is a very big award. The last frikin' award for the night! are we all excited?!" She asked. Everyone cheered loudly. She dramatically opened the envelope. "And the 2012 Artist of the Year is .....One Direction!" Everyone cheered loudly including the girls and I. They deserve that award very much. They walked out once again jumping up and down like crazy. They were jumping onto each other and laughing. Everyon laughed along with them. You could see in their faces that they couldn't belive they had won the award. After their speeches they walked back off stage.
Drake came out alone thos time. "Now, IT has been an amazing night! It has come down to the last performance of the night. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome One Directon!" Everyone cheered loudly before they even stepped onstage.The music started and began to play an all-too familiar tune. "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6qcTa1x_0w" This was the first ever performance live of this song! I was freaking out on the inside. I turned to the girls and we all burst out laughing at memories with this song.
After the boys ended the song, the audience roared. Everyone began to leave the award show. The girls and I were escorted out to the Iimo. "So girls, how was tonight?" Angelo asked us as we got in the limo. "It was absolutely incredible" said Core. "It was sureal. Performing was the best." I said with a cheshire cat smile on my face. I closed my eyes and put my head on Lolly's lap. She began to stroke my hair even though she knows I don't like it becauseI I get antsy. I was just to content to care. For once it was actually quite soothing considering how anxious I got for the Best New Artist award. Now, It was time for the after party!
