Music Mayhem Awards

We got to the venue at about 8:50 am. Due to traffic we arrived late to sound check. The act before us had already left. The boys and I were rushed to the stage and handed microphones. We only had time to run through the performance twice before the next act came for their run through.
After we were finished and handed water we headed out. I was walking next to Niall with the other boys up ahead of us. Niall was talking about how excited he was for tonight when I saw the boys ahead of us. Liam, Louis, and Zayn were whispering to each other and kept looking back to Niall and I. "If it wasn't for traffic" Louis said a little louder. "Shhh" Zayn and Liam shushed him. They again turned back to us to see if we'd heard.
I'm pretty sure Niall hadn't heard the first part but the shushing caught his attention. We walked faster and caught up to the guys. "Why were you shushing Louis?" Niall asked Liam and Zayn. "And why were you blaming traffic?" I asked. They looked at each other than looked at us and then back at each other. At this point, we had stopped in the middle of the hallway and were facing each other. "So, Out with it" Niall said from next to me. Louis and Zayn nudged Liam to speak. Liam looked at them and shook his head. Louis and Zayn kept nudging him not wanting to be the ones to talk.
"Fine!" Liam exclaimed. He cleared his throat and looked up toward Niall and I. "Well, you know how we were running late due to traffic?" He asked. Niall and I nodded our heads. Liam continued his explanation. "So, our rehersal was right after life-line's. If we would have gotten here on time you could have met them." My jaw dropped at this. "I COULD HAVE MET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE?!" exclaimed Niall from next to me. "Stupid traffic" he grumbled beging to walk. The rest of the guys followed suit. I was still thinking about the close encounter with life-line and had to catch up with the boys who were already getting on the elevator.

The limo picked us up just as Lou finished redoing Louis' hair for the second time tonight. In the limo with us Danielle and Eleanor. Perrie was with littlemix and would meet us inside the venue. The groups were being seated in the same general area. As we stepped out of the limo the screams were ear piercing. Dani and El were escorted inside by security.
After a few interviews, the boys and I were escorted inside. Soon after the Award show began. Performances passed, and awards were given. The award for best single was up next.
"The nominees are: Maroon 5- Payphone; David Guetta and Usher-Without You; Psy-Gangnam Style; Jessie J-Domino; One Direction- Live While We're Young; and life-line with Jumpin Jumpin" Announced Mario Lopez and Carrie Underwood.
"And the award for Best Single of the year goes to.." said Mario Lopez while Carrie Underwood opened the envelope. They both read off the name and announced at the same time.
"life-line! Jumpin Jumpin!" They screamed into the microphone. Everyone cheered as The girls got up from their seats at the end of our row. We were sitting in the same row! Everyone congradulated them as they made their way up the stairs. She looked beautiful up there.
"Thankyou soo much!" "We'd like to thank everyone on our team, our families, and especially the fans!" "Oh and a special thankyou to Angelo, Stacey, Daisy, and Mark. They were escorted backstage as the next announcers came out for the next award.
