Absolutely Beautiful
Kate's POV
I woke up to the of my stupid alarm clock ringing. 7:00 a.m. Oh shit. I get up and hurry towards the bathroom. I take a quick shower and changed. I made sure I wore long sleeves so that no one would notice my cuts. I run downstairs and the front door closes.
"Bye mum. I'm going to school" I say giving her quick hug.
"Bye honey. Have a good time!'' she replied back. My dad speeds off with my sisters in his brand new BMW. He never let me sit in his car. Whenever we went out together as a family, I either had to ride my bike or walk. I walked quickly towards the school. When I reached the front doors of the school, I took a deep breath.
"Here goes nothing" I said opening the doors. I walked in and noticed and noticed that it was oddly quiet. I checked the time on my phone. 7:45 a.m. Well that's just great. I'm late on the first day of school. I ran towards my first class as fast as my feet could take me. I opened the door and a few people were looking at me and laughing while the teacher stared at me awkwardly.
"Destiny Willows?" he asked me.
"Y-Yes" I replied stuttering.
"Your late. Go get a late pass." I nodded and made my way to the front office. The lady gave me weird looks as she handed me my late pass. Seriously, am I that ugly?
Harry's POV
I woke up and stretched letting out a yawn. I checked the time on my phone and gasped. 7:15 a.m. I rushed to the bathroom and got ready for school. I left the house and hoped into my car. I told my mum I'm off to school. A couple minutes later, I reached the school's parking lot. I ran inside the school. it was quiet so I knew I was late. I went to my first class. I walked in and the teacher was talking to the class.
"Your late Mr. Styles. Go get a late pass." I nodded and went to the front office. I decided to take out my phone and go through twitter. I wasn't paying attention and hit into someone. I looked up and it was the girl from yesterday. She looked up at me annoyed.
"Sorry again" I said chuckling. "I'm Harry" I said putting my hand out for her to shake.
"And I'm late, sorry" she said running towards her class. I was shocked, no girl has ever refused to talk to me. i ignored my thoughts and got my late pass. i walked back into the class.
Destiny's POV
I ran back to my class. I'm already late and Harry delayed me even longer. I handed the teacher my pass and looked for seat. There were two seats in the back of the classroom. Unfortunately, they were right next to the popular group. i walked towards the seat farther from them. As I took my seat, nobody bothered looking towards me except for Julie, my bully. She was a seat away so there was only one seat in the middle. She gave me a death glare and I suddenly feel insecure. I turned my attention towards the teacher while Julie rolled her eyes.
Harry's POV
I walked into class and handed the teacher my late pass. I looked around for a seat next to my friends in the back. There was one seat between Julie and the girl I ran into. I'm not going to lie, she is absolutely beautiful. I walked over to the empty seat and set my backpack down. Julie gave me a quick kiss on my cheek and winked. I like her and all but she's too clingy.
"Listen up class. These seats will be your assigned seats for the rest of the year so get to know each other. The girl sitting to my left looked shocked while I smirked. Everyone carried on with their conversations while we sat there quietly.
"My name is Harry. What's your name?" I asked her.
"Kate" she responded.
''Well Kate, you have a lovely name and you are absolutely beautiful!" I said taking her hand and kissing it softly. She tensed up at first but then blushed.
''Thank you!" she said. She turned towards me and smiled. We stayed like that for a wile just enjoying each other's presence. The teacher started talking again and we stopped staring. This year is going to be good. I just know it.
Kate's POV
Maybe sitting here won't be a bad thing after all. Harry seems like a very nice person. I just don't like Julie. She's constantly bulling me and I hate her so much. If I had to choose between dying or talking to Julie, I would choose death. I hope Harry and her aren't dating. Not that I want to be with him, its just that he seems really nice and Julie is so vicious. Of well, its not like I'm going to be making any friends just like the past years of my life. I'll just see what happens since nobody ever notices me. I'm surprised Harry did because I'm just one of those awkward kids who have no friends and have a terrible life.
