Glass. (37th Chapter)

Harmony's POV:

It was the moment when I woke up, when I heard a sound of glass shattering. Without thinking further, I ran downstairs with fear striking my soul. I looked around the house, searching for any evidence of the voice; but there wasn’t any. Fog’s barking was roaring the interior, which made me think that he must have noticed the noise too.
Could the dog have tripped over a glass object, which made the cracking sound? I walk over to the kitchen, and I notice the violation crime. The kitchen’s window is broken by a brick, which now lies on the floor with the remains of the glass. Fog squirms between my legs, hiding from the clueless affect. Who would break my window? Was it intentional, or some rebellious kid threw it rationally? My eyes notice a paper wrapped around the brick, making me pick the rock up to read:

“We know where to find you, now.”

The heat of my nervousness increase, brewing my body from the curious fear. Without thinking any further, I run upstairs to grip my phone; calling the only person that could calm me down; Harry. Could it be Luke? But why would he intend on breaking my window to scare me off?
Could it be an instruction from Jack? Why would he hurt me, and why would he want to stalk my house? Harry mentioned to me that he made sure Jack wouldn’t interfere with me. If the two suspects on my mind, aren’t the ones responsible for shaking my being; then who could it be? I figured Harry was still asleep, since he didn’t pick up. I scribbled a text to him, making sure to tell him to come over as soon as he reads it. This is one of the disadvantages of living by myself; I am no match to whoever is intending to scare me.
…An Hour Later…
“Who could have done this?” I snuggle closer to Harry’s body, hugging him as we stand to examine the glass. “I’m scared, you know?” I state my words in a monotone frame, making his arms tighten around my body. “You can’t stay here.” I lift my head from his chest, giving him a confused look. “What do you mean?” He sighs, while rubbing my back with his hands.
“Whoever did this, clearly knows that you live alone. I don’t want to be on my nerves, and I don’t want you to be on yours either. (He breathes, trying to find calmness) Move in with me.” I shake my head once I hear his words. “I can’t just move in with you. Harry this is my house.” He replies, preceding my words:“And it will always be. Just move in with me until we figure out who would threaten you. At least if you’re under my eye all the time, I wouldn’t have to worry about you being safe. Come on, love. What do you say?”
“What about fog?” His smile shows, even though we both don’t feel like being happy. “Bring the dog, too. Bring whatever you want; just please move in with me until things are secured for you.” I hesitate with my options, as I conclude that his argument is the winning side. “When do I start packing?” He lands a kiss on my forehead, then answers: “The sooner the better. Go and start packing; I’ll call someone meanwhile, to repair this chaos.”
