“I just don’t think I can live without him,” she sobbed into her hands
“I know how you feel Emma, but you’ve got to understand he’s with Taylor now,” I comforted, reaching over to pat her knee.

This was one of the things I enjoyed about being a Rector, even if it was for one of the poorest fandoms; I could help mend the hearts of broken girls because I knew exactly what they were going through.

“Rector Indianna? Rector Marcus is waiting for you outside,” Rachel called from the receptionist desk.
“Alright Emma I’ll see you next week if you feel you still need help,” I said in my calm tone. The weeping girl nodded before exiting the room in haste. Sighing I gathered my bag and dumped it on my desk behind me, before a knock on the door sounded throughout the room.
“Come in,” I said running my hand through my dirty blond hair, all I wanted to do was crawl up into bed and sleep.
“Hello Rector Indianna,” Marcus teased as he walked in, he knew I hated the fact my name permanently had a ‘Rector’ in front of it, even if it was out of respect.
“Shut up Marcus, I’m too tired for your idioticness,” I rolled my eyes, sarcastically.
“Idioticness isn’t even a word,” he pointed out, making my eyes instinctually roll again.
“So, what’s up? Miley gone crazy again?” I joked, sorting through my files.
“Actually no, I came here to talk to you about the leadership wedding,” he said knowing he was hitting a sore topic “How are you doing?”
“I’m fine,” I lied “It’s not like anyone can do anything, if he wants to marry her who am I stop him? He is doing it for the benefit of the fandom, when the swifties and directioners join forces we’ll be rich. And I’ll finally be getting that coffee machine I’ve been wanting in the office”.

I smiled trying to lighten the mood. The truth was, it hurt. It hurt so fucking much to know he was in love with her, with someone so beautiful no one stood a chance against her. This being the first leadership wedding, it was a big event for all of us. I still remember the day Harry proposed to her, I received endless calls and requests for sessions, it was depressing just to look at all of them.

“Well good for you, I just came to make sure you weren’t too distracted that you forgot about the aptitude awards,” he said, making my head shoot up
“Shit, I forgot all about them, when are they?” I asked, my fandom was in no way prepared for them.
“In two weeks, right before the wedding,” he confirmed, before biting into an apple he picked from my table. “I’ve been training my fandom like crazy, they all hate me now,” he chuckled.

“I haven’t really been bothered with it; we are probably going to lose again anyway, besides we will be sharing our wealth with the swifties now, so we don’t need any more money,” I sighed sinking into my leather chair and massaging my forehead.
“Wow you look stressed,” he said
“Yeah well, try and deal with 50 crying girls a day, not exactly the best experience,” I smiled.
“Well at least your leaders aren’t crazy and try flash everyone they come across, I don’t even know how to control her anymore,”
“Rector Problems, right? Don’t worry it will all be over by next month, everything will be back to normal.” I tried to make the atmosphere feel lighter but it didn’t help at all.
“Well, I better be going back to the smilers, the last train is leaving in half an hour,” Marcus said, walking toward the door “ And may the odds be ever in your favour,” he said in a fake posh tone making me giggle.
“I wouldn’t bet on it,” I shouted as he left the building, before he replied back
“Neither would I”
