COLDNESS!!!!!!!
Melody's POV
"That's like trying to put out a fire in a 32-story building with a squirt gun. Or trying to fill a toy bucket with the entire ocean!" I said. We were playing Q & A again, and Liam had asked me what my favorite phrases were.
"Which ocean?" Louis asked, smirking.
"Does it matter?" I answered with a question of my own.
"Yesh," Niall answered, his mouth full of pizza squares.
"The Pacific," I said, glaring at him. "Didn't your mother ever teach you any table manners?"
He stared at me pointedly and swallowed with emphasis before answering. "Yes, yes she did."
"Then what's your problem?"
"I have to say something. Everyone's talking about stuff when we're eating," he said.
I stared at him and gestured to the floor in front of me with a sweeping motion, then gestured to the rest of us. Nobody had food in front of us - with the exception of Niall, who had two empty Vinny's Pizza boxes in front of him and was halfway through a third.
He blushed. "Want some?"
"No. Because then you'll moan and groan and whine and complain because you're hungry," I said, sighing. "I have to order more pizza."
"Yay!" Niall shouted.
"Not for you," I said, standing up from my spot on the floor next to Harry. I walked to the stairs leading up to the second floor and shouted. "Heather! I need you to drive me to Vinny's!"
"Vinny's is gross!"
"You're not eating it!"
"No!"
"I'm paying," I shouted. She still didn't come down. "If you're not down here in 10 seconds, I'm taking your car and driving myself!"
"You don't have the keys!" she sang baack.
"I know where Daddy keeps the spares, so don't mess with me!"
"Ugh! Fine!" she said, appearing at the top of the stairs. She stomped down them and walked out the front door, slamming it with emphasis.
I turned to the boys and Ella. "I don't," I said, talking about the spare keys, then grinned and followed Heather.
"Damn! This pizza's good!" Zayn said, practically inhaling the entire box.
"Leave some for the rest of us!" Ella said. "We like pizza, too!"
"Don't pull a Niall, Zayn," Heather said from her spot next to Niall. He gave her the stinkeye and walked into the kitchen, probably to get a plate.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Zayn asked, taking another square of the greasy yumminess.
"It means no more pizza until everyone else is done," I said, leaning over the pizza boxes that sat in the middle of our circle and took the pizza square from Zayn's hand, which was already halfway to his mouth by then.
I tossed the small square onto Ella's plate, who immediately snatched it up and shoved it in her mouth.
"Ella!" I shouted. "Manners! We have guests!"
"Um, Mel?" Harry said.
"Yeah?"
"We live with Niall for the better portion of the year. This isn't even close to half as bad as what he does," he said.
"But still. It's bad manners, and if Mom were here she'd kick your butt," I said, turning back to Ella.
Niall appeared in the doorway with a rather large cereal bowl and walked behind Heather silently. I, along with the rest of the group, casually watched from the corners of our eyes as Niall poured water on her. It must have been cold, because she jumped up, screaming "COLDCOLDCOLDCOLDCOLDCOLDCOLDCOLDWHATTHEFUCKNIALL?!"
Niall just laughed and ran away, Heather chasing after him. "GIMME A HUG!!!!!!" she shouted as she disappeared from the room.
This is going to be a LOOOONG night.

Okay, so this is more of a filler chapter than anything but I really have to go to the bathroom so I might post another chapter later tonight but IDK 'cuz I'm helping set up for my pastor's son's birthday party tonight then staying at her house 'cuz the party's tomorrow and I have to wake up to a 1 and 2-year old jumping on me again so I'm probably going to need my sleep.
