How It All Started
I Don't Mind
"Mom!" I said, going down the stairs hoping she was still there watching T.V
"I'm in the kitchen, love." Susan said.
I went in and sat down on one of the chairs. "Can I go out next Monday? Harry wants to take to dinner." I asked her and explained why at the same time.
She smiled. "Where is he taking you, dear?"
"His place. Harry said he'd pick me up here, mom." I shrugged.
Susan frowned. "If you two won't be eating dinner and are busy doing something else, you're grounded for the rest of your life."
I blushed. "Mom! You know I won't do that. At least trust me." I said.
"I do trust you, besides I was only messing with you, honey. Go ahead and make sure you wear something nice to get his attention." Mom smirked, playfully elbowing me.
I shook my head. "You know I don't dress to impress, I dress to express." I smiled at her.
Mom smiled. "If I were you, I'd go to sleep already. It's nearly 10:30, Mary." Susan said, putting her drink down.
I rolled my eyes. "I'm 19. I can sleep as late as I want to." I yawned, going up to my room. I locked the door to my room and climbed on my bed.

I woke up to see my mom in my room, getting my hamper. "Good morning." I croaked as she picked my up my laundry on the floor.
"You should earn how to put your laundry in the hamper, sweetie." Susan said, arms full of my laundry.
I shrugged. "I will, mom. I will."
That made her laugh. "Get off your your lazy ass, dear. Your breakfast is getting cold, you wouldn't want cold pancakes would you?"
