Jasper's P.O.V

The past few days have gone by in a flash. Here's an update:

My dad is 'dating' Lydia. I roll my eyes every single time I hear her name.

Jolynn is turning eight today, that also means I'm turning nineteen. We were both born on August 14th.

Um, for Jayson, all I know is he's just fifteen and he's fishing everyday, nothing exciting there.

My phone rings and I quickly answer it to hear Zayns voice. We haven't seen each other in a day. Wow, now I sound like really attached to him.

"Happy birthday!" Zayn says, while laughing.

"Thanks." I laugh while playing with Jolynns hair. "Can you make it over for my birthday?"

"Yeah, I totally can!" He says.

"Alright, come over right now." I order.

"Alright." He says, before hanging up.

I sit on my bed watching TV, until I hear Zayn right next to me. I swear I jumped at least three feet in the air. "Shit, Zayn!" I whisper yell at him. He snickers.

"How's the birthday girl doing?" He asks, putting his arm around me.

"Good, I guess. It's only noon." I say. "Oh and my dad has another date with the ugly bitch."

"Just be happy your dad is happy." Zayn suggests. I shrug.

"I guess, I should. Shouldn't I?" I ask, sitting on his legs facing him.

"Of course." He whispers.

"So Zayn, about the bite, " I begin.

He rolls his eyes, "Don't worry about it, babe."

"Okay," I smile.

I decide to get dressed while Zayn talks to my dad downstairs or something. I actually don't know where he is and that kinda scares me because he could be watching me.

Then I look over and see him fast asleep in my bed. "Shit." I whisper when I notice I'm in nothing but my bra and underwear. But I guess it's like wearing a bikini it's just sexier.

"What?" He asks, sitting up tiredly. He stares at me. "Why aren't you dressed?"

"I'm getting dressed." I whisper. "Now don't say that out loud!"

"Sorry." He says, rubbing his eyes.

I pull a jean jacket out of my closet and add it to my outfit. A peach tanktop, jean jacket, and peach colored shorts. It's pretty cute on me, I guess.

I grab a hair tie and put my hair up in a bun. While I do my makeup, Zayn watches me.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Waiting for you, duh." He says.

"You don't have to. Go play with Jo or something." I suggest. He stays in his place.

"What songs do you have on your iPod?" He asks, taking it off my dresser. I let him rummage through my music while I make my bed.

"Too many to say." I laugh.

"You like a lot of different kinds of music." He says. I look over his shoulder and see him scrolling through all my artists.

"Do you sing?" He asks.

"No, I didn't sing to you a few days ago. It was all a dream." I joke as we walk downstairs. I notice dad isn't there. "Hey, uh, Jo where's dad?"

"Bathroom, getting ready for Lydia." Jo laughs, chasing Chaplin around the living room. I lead Zayn into the kitchen.

"This looks good." I admire my cake. Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

"Yup." He says, holding me from behind.

"Jo! Come take a picture." I call for her. I hear her little feet scurry into the kitchen. I hand her my phone and she quickly snaps a picture of Zayn and I.

"Did it turn out?" She asks. Trying to look at my phone.

"Yeah, perfect," I smile at her. She nods and runs back out into our living area.

"Happy birthday!" Dad, Jayson, and Zayn sing. Jo and I blow out the candles together, while laughing.

"I want this piece." I say, pointing to a piece of the delicious cake. Dad cuts it out and puts it on a plate, which goes to me. I take my first bite and I've already fallen in love. Haha.

"Presents?" Jo asks when all of us are done. Jayson hands Jo and I a present and we tear off the wrapping paper together.
