"Young lady, where have you been?" asked Father. Jenna looked down on the floor and said nothing. She knew her father wanted an answer. She looked up and answered courageously. "I was at the park with Curie and I fell asleep for too long, but then I met up with someone and it made me delay." answered Jenna. Father looked at Momma and Momma looked at Jenna. "Who is this someone?" asked Momma. Ugh, I can't tell her that I met up with a boy.. She might think something went on.. Which obviously did, thought Jenna. "She was a wonderful lady who dropped some of her groceries. So I helped her get it." lied Jenna. It pains her. She hates lying. Her mom looked at her again. "Do we know this lady?" asked Momma. "I don't think so. But she is really nice," replied Jenna. "Okay Jenna, we understand. Sorry for questioning you about your delay," said Momma. "It is no problem" answered Jenna. Jenna placed Curie on the ground and watch her run around. She walked toward the stairs and placed her foot on the first step. "Before you go to your room Jenna," said Father. "We would like to meet your new lady friend". "Okay," replied Jenna. Jenna is dead. She hurried up to her room and closed the door. "What am I going to do now?" murmured Jenna. She cannot keep this longer. She knows she has to tell her parents about him at some point. "I'll think about it tomorrow," said Jenna. Jenna looked around her room, she was 7 when she first entered this room. She smiled and looked at the ceiling. She was on her bed, thinking. Do I think he is cute? Maybe he is, but I don't know. I am so confused, thought Jenna. I'll listen to some music and take a nap. It will release all of my worried thoughts.
