It was already getting late. The sun was setting and Jenna was far from home. The park was no where near her neighborhood. "I shouldn't have slept," mumbled Jenna. "I could have slept at home, if I did not sleep.. I wouldn't be this late." Jenna was on Mousie Street. Still far from home. She decided to go into a store for a little snack, since she didn't eat in a while. The cashier gave Jenna her change and she walked out of the store and started going home again. "Here's the end of Mousie Street" said Jenna. She sighed. What if her parents give her a punishment for being late? She walked forward and bumped into a boy. "So sorry!" the boy said. Jenna looked up at him. "No worries." replied Jenna. Curie hissed and Jenna giggled. "Nothings fine. Its just Curies' way of saying it's okay."said Jenna. The boy laughed. "If you excuse me, I need to get home." said Jenna. The boy nodded in agreement. Jenna walked ahead of him and turned around. She waved good-bye and he waved back. She turned around again and started to walk away. "Weird." Jenna whispered to Curie. Curie meowed and Jenna arrived at her home. She thought about the boy again. He was sweet. Wasn't he? "Wait, what time is it?!" said Jenna worried. She looked at her phone and saw the time. "Oh no," Jenna said. Jenna hurried inside and her parents were right in front of the door. This wasn't going to be good.
