Chapter Fifty
Me: Where are we going?
Liam: Just sit quiet. You'll know soon.
I sighed impatiently and relaxed a bit. I felt his hand on my leg and I squeezed it. I could practically feel him smiling at me. Of course, normally I could see him smiling, but he had me blindfolded. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=60283362
We were on our way to heaven knows where. We didn't have much time left in London before the tour began and Liam wanted to take me on what he called our "second first date". I didn't care as long as I got to spend time with him, but he wanted to make it a huge surprise for me.
I felt us turn onto a bumpy road and our speed slowed. I could tell by the light coming through the bandana over my eyes that we were somewhere a bit darker. Perhaps under the shade of trees. Presently, we stopped and I heard Liam open his door.
Liam: Hold on, I'll come get you.
I heard him shuffle around the car and I giggled when I heard a bump. It shook the car a bit and I heard him complaining, although it was muffled by the car.
Liam: Ouch! Dang car!
He then made the rest of his way around slightly more cautiously. When he opened the door I turned to face him as best I could by hearing his voice.
Me: You show the car who is boss.
I could envision him rolling his eyes as I heard him sigh.
Liam: Oh hush. Come on.
His warm hands wrapped around mine and gently pulled me up from my seat and out of the car. He shut the door before proceeding to lead me away from it. The walk was a bit bumpy and uneven. I fell against Liam several times and he held me up willingly. Finally we got to his secret place and he stopped me.
Me: Are we there?
Liam: Yup. Let me untie this.
With that he removed the blindfold from my eyes and watched me to see my reaction as I looked around. It was absolutely gorgeous. We were in the middle of woods where there was a clearing. Lights were strung from the trees making a sort of "tent of lights". I couldn't believe my eyes. I spoke breathlessly.
Me: Wow
Liam was grinning from ear to ear, excited to make me so happy.
Liam: You like it?
Me: Like it? I love it! This is beautiful, Liam! Thank you!
Liam: That's not all.
Me: What could be better than this?

Liam: Dance with me?
Me: Absolutely!
We began to dance as the music played some of my favorite old love songs. We started out two stepping and he spun me around with ease. We laughed and goofed off as we moved perfectly in sync with each other. The sparkle in his eyes was so captivating. We spent a considerable amout of time dancing, but it seemed like the blink of an eye.Then the beat slowed and so did we. I was in heaven as I rested my head on his shoulder and we swayed to the beat.
After the song ended, he gently tilted my chin up so that my lips met his. It was like a perfect love story out here by ourselves, kissing under the lights strung up in the middle of trees. His arms pulled me closer and I mirrored his motion until there was virtually no space left between us.
We started kissing with increasing passion and heat. I ran my fingers through his hair while he held me close and explored my mouth with his tongue. We kept going until our lungs demanded oxygen. I stared into his eyes as he looked into mine. A smile crossed his face and I couldn't help but laugh slightly.
Liam: I'm so glad you're mine.
Me: Me too.
I kissed his cheek. He kissed mine and made his way to and down my jawline. When he reached my neck, he brought his lips back to mine. I broke it off after a while. He groaned.
Liam: Where are you going?
He tried to lean back into another kiss but I dodged it, giggling.
Me: It's getting late. We should probably be getting back.
Liam: You don't want to spend time out here with me?
Me: Trust me, I want nothing more than to spend every minute out here alone with you, but you have a tour to prepare for.
Liam: I don't care about the tour.
He tried to lean in again, but I dodged it again, this time pulling his hands from around me.
Me: Oh come on Romeo. Let's get back to the car.
I pulled his hand and he just stood there, not wanting to leave and whining.
Me: Last one back to the car has to kiss the winner!
I darted off and he followed shouting.
Liam: You started early!
When I got back to the car, which wasn't far, I touched the side.
Me: I win!
He reached not long after me. He put his hands on the car behind me with one on each side of me, pinning me to it.
Liam: That means I win.
He leaned in and we made out for a short while. We broke it off and smiled at each other.
Me: Fair enough
He opened my door for me and I slipped in. Then he went back to his side and grabbed my hand before we pulled out of the gravel parking lot. He held my hand and sang to me the whole way home.
