Chapter Forty-Six

We grabbed Liam and met up with the others. I refused to talk to Liam the remainder of the night. Niall and Harry were talking a mile a minute and kept me completely occupied. James hung with the rest of the guys to give me some space to catch up.

The first few stops were just the real touristy places. The BTR guys wanted pictures everywhere for memories and for tweeting their fans. James and I took a few together, as well.

I was used to the sights from living here last summer, but it was different seeing them now. All of the old memories that these places brought back filled my mind. They made it hard to focus on what was happening now. I wished I could go back to the summer when everything was perfect.

James wrapped his arms around me and we made crazy faces for the camera. In my mind, Liam's arms were the ones on my waist. The camera flash brought me back to reality. I'm going to have to make myself focus.

After several stops we pulled up to a night club. I looked out the window, questioningly. The boys all seemed excited.

Louis: Alrighty everyone! Who is ready to party?!?

The others hollered cheerily in response. I just smiled weakly. I wasn't exactly in the mood to party, but I could put a game face on. We all hopped out of the van and into the club.

There were lights and smoke clouding my vision while the music pumped from the speakers. The DJ got the to floor shake with the Katy Perry music that seemed to be on replay. We started off on the dance floor. I was a bit timid, but the guys' cheer was infectious. Soon my smile was real and I was acting just as crazy as the others, well, to an extent.

After a while we decided to head for the bar. Everyone but Liam and I got alcohol. A few drinks later, Liam and I were the only sober ones sitting at our table. The others all ended up running back to the dance floor. My stomach was hurting a bit so I stayed at the table, slowly sipping my Dr. Pepper.

Liam stayed as well, not wanting to get in the middle of all of the drunks. He tried making small talk a couple of times, but I ignored him, keeping my attention on the guys making fools of themselves on the dance floor. Suddenly, Liam got my attention.

Liam: Shay!

I turned to face him, rather annoyed.

Me: What?!
Liam: Have you heard me?
Me: Define heard.
Liam: Are you ignoring me?

I turned my head back to watch the guys again before Liam touched my arm. I whipped my head back around and pushed his hand away.

Me: What do you want?!
Liam: What is your problem?
Me: I don't have a problem.
Liam: I beg to differ.
Me: Excuse me?
Liam: Something is wrong with you.
Me: Just like something was wrong with you when I wanted to talk about it, but since we are just keeping things to ourselves and being mad at each other for no apparent reason, leave me alone.
Liam: No. We need to deal with this now or it is going to be a long tour.

I hated when he was right. I sighed and rolled my eyes before looking at him.

Me: Okay then. Do you want to start?
Liam: Ladies first.
Me: Well I'm upset because you have been blowing me off and being rude to me so you tell me why we aren't talking.

He took a deep breath and scratched the back of his neck before speaking...
