Just A Dream
Niall's POV
I look at her, afraid to move towards her. She hasn't responded yet, still looking at the ground with great interest. I hear her sigh then she looks back up at me. Then turns around. I hate this…this silence between us. "I um got your message." For god's sake I should've just professed my undying love for her. Or kissed her…anything but sound like a complete loser. She just keeps hanging things around this mirror, I hear her dogtags bang together. I shift a bit in the doorway, not sure what to do with myself now. This was stupid…I should just go. "You can come in you know." I look up at Clary, her back is still turned to me. I go and sit down on her bed. I look around the room. It was painted like the sky, light blue with clouds here and there. I know she must've done it herself. I spot a desk and her painting easel on the other side of the room. I see an unfinished painting, she must not have a lot of time to paint now that she works the whole day. I turn back to see her staring at me. Okay you idiot speak up now. "Why were you crying Clary?" She looks at me for a long time, then sits down by me. I look at her, then I notice my charm on her necklace. My eyes grow wide and I start to stutter. She starts to laugh at me. God doesn't she know that her laugh will not help with the stuttering? Everything Clary did entranced me. I had no self control when it came to her. I look at her, and she is still smiling but playing with the necklace now. "You know Niall, I was going to make long distance work. I wasn't going to ditch you when I left. Yes I should've told you when you were actually listening. But you were so absorbed in your audition, half the time I felt like you weren't even there when you were with me." I just stand up and look at her. She stared into my eyes.
"Then why didn't you say something? Why did you let me think that you…that you didn't want us to be together?" I look at her still, she just rolls her eyes at me.
"Because I thought you didn't." She was still looking at me. But she stood up this time and slowly moved to where I was. I stopped breathing. She leaned very close to me and stood on her toes. I felt her breath against my ear. I think I may have died and gone to heaven, because this has to be a dream. "I still love you too." Then she took my earlobe between her teeth and sucked gently on it. I moaned and my eyes flew open. Then her arms were around my neck pulling me into her. I wrap mine around her waist and breath in her scent. We stand there like that for minutes. I don't really know how long to be honest…time seemed to stand still. I kissed her head and pulled her closer. I never plan on letting go. Someone will have to pry her out of my hands. She pulls away a bit and I just pull her back, earning me a giggle. "Niall we need to talk…I promise more hugging later." I sigh but let go.
"Okay fine. But I'm holding you to that." She smiles and takes my hand. Clary pulls me toward her bed. She sits down and I sit down next to her. My hand still in hers.
"Okay so we can't date…yet. You have to win me back." She was grinning from ear to ear. Great another one of her little games. I frown and decide I'm doing things my way.
Clary's POV
He looks at me with a smirk. I don’t like that smirk…it means he's up to something. He leans down and kisses my knuckles. He spreads my hand out kissing my palm, then my fingertips. I whimpered which only made him continue his sweet torture. "Clary, love. I think that maybe we should just start dating now…I'll pick you up tomorrow at 7." He stands up suddenly and walks right out of my room. WHAT? I scramble after him. I grab his arm then realize he isn't wearing his crutches…he's so stupid. But I had a battle to win. I spin him around and kiss his neck. I hear him suck in his breath. I lightly rub my lips against it, every so often planting a gentle kiss. His hands fly to my waist, digging his fingers into my hips. I murmur into his neck, "I'm not done with you yet." His response was to push me into the wall. He just stares at me. I see he is breathing heavily and I smile, knowing that I still had this effect on him. I pull him in again and nibble on his neck. He grips my hips again and moans my name. "Clary…god baby…we should…" Another moan cut him off. I lean up and kiss him, swiping my tongue on his bottom lip. Then he broke it off. His blue eyes were darker now, filled with lust. He just looked at me for a moment then spoke, "Claryy…someone could…oh fuck it." He pulled my in and kissed my lips with desire. I jumped up and linked my legs around his hips. His hands grasp my butt and that's when the door flies open. I jump off of him faster than lightening. Penny comes in and sees us. She raises her eyebrows at me so I just give her the 'I'll tell you later' look. "Oh sorry I didn't know that…" She looked from me to Niall. I glance over at Niall and see that he is fiddling with his hands. "Its fine Penny. Niall was just leaving." His head snaps up and looks at me with confusion. I turn my gaze back to Penny. "Where's Ry?" That's when I see tears form in Penny's eyes. Oh shit something happened. I grab Niall's hand and drag him out of the hallway. He immediately presses me against the wall. His lips skim my neck causing me to whimper. God just fucking kiss me and get this over with. "You are such a tease, love. But two can play this game." He lightly kissed my neck while pressing his hips into mine. I gasp and cling to his neck, making him chuckle. He bites my neck and sucks, a moan escapes from my lips. Then he peels off of me. "Until tomorrow my love. Oh and dress nicely." He kissed my hand and left me in the hallway. I quickly turned around only to find Ryan out in the hallway. I stomp over to him and shove him lightly. "What the hell did you do to Penny?!"
Penny's POV
I sit in my room while crying silently. I shouldn't be this upset but it hurt. I felt hurt…after all this time I finally got him and now he's leaving? I can't believe this. I get up and go to the freezer to pull out some ice cream. I hear a Clarissa out in the hallway. She is so lucky…she has Niall and I bet Niall would never do this to her. Well of course he wouldn’t, he loves her more than anything. I go to my room and curl up into a ball. I hear the door slam shut and I know for a fact that Clarissa is back from snogging her man candy. But why is she so mad? Then my door flies open. The lights flick on and I see a very angry Clarissa in my room. "Penny! Oh don't cry over this." Before I could respond she was pulling me in for a hug. And so I weep into her and she strokes my hair. I just can't believe that he is going to leave for Los Angeles and never come back. I know it’s a big opportunity for him, then I think about what Clarissa will do? They were a team. God he is just so selfish putting his career before everyone. I eventually stop crying and tell Clarissa to go to bed. I'll be better in the morning hopefully. One month was all our relationship was…I'll get over him. I will. I wake up and get ready for work. After a longer shower than usual I get dressed (outfit). I head out and find Clarissa is up. "What are you doing up?" She just smiles and hands me a plate of pancakes. It was formed into a smiley face.
"Thanks Redhead. So um…I take you talked to him." I hear her sigh and put pancakes onto her plate then comes over and sits by me.
"Oh I talked to him alright. I now work from 10 to 6. Since apparently that’s easier for me to do by myself. I have to go in early though because I may have a new assignment. I don't know what the hell that means. But I talked slash yelled…he kind of just looked at the ground." I ate while she talked. So I was almost done but Clarissa had an appetite. After we finish I clear the table. She told me that she was going to drive me to work. I just agree with her. So she goes and finishes getting ready. The whole ride there I make her spill about Niall. We pull up to my school and I hop out. "Thanks for the ride Clarissa. And thanks for--"
"No need to thank me Penny! I'm your best friend. I am supposed to comfort you when some as-butthole hurts you." I laugh and wave to her. She clearly censored herself because children were nearby. I hurried in and got ready for the day. I realized that I would have to take a cab home. Usually Ryan come and got me during his dinner break. I sigh and my children come in, making me smile as they all try to tell me something. It gets to lunch time so I'm in the lounge. I check my phone for any texts and I have 3.
Redhead: Harry is picking you up from work since I can't. Love you! :)
Ryan: Penny come please talk to me.
Redhead: PS I won't be home for dinner I got a hot date. Buut you can help me pick out and outfit.
I only respond to Clarissa's and delete Ryan's text.
Me: Why Harry of all the boys?! And okay! :) I can't wait to doll you up!
Redhead: Because I know he's your fav. You should be thanking me! OHH ask him to stay for dinner or something!
Me: I would rather die. Listen I have to go. This discussion is sooo not over.
Redhead: FINE! See you soooooon.
Sometimes I feel like Clarissa just like to torment me. I sigh and head back to my class. Only two more hours until fucking Harry Styles. After the kids left and I had to stay and finish up some things, I hear a knock on the door. I look up and almost die. Because there he was. He smiled and came and sat down in a desk. "So tell me Penelope. Why did you want to teach little kids?" I just gaped at him. Because he is so tall and he is scrunched into the desk, also because I hate my actual name but when he said it. I almost fell out of my chair.
"I um…I um…I just always wanted to…" He just kept on smiling at me and nodded. I went back to my papers, figuring out a lesson plan for tomorrow. I felt someone behind me so I turned around.
"How long will you be babe?" Babe…my heart just did a flip.
"Um not to much longer…you can look around the room if you want." I try to finish quickly. I do and look up to see Harry looking at the kid's art. He whistles and turns to me.
"These kids paint waay better than I do! You ready?" I just nod and put on my coat, grab my purse then let him show me out to the car. I get to the car and we both reach for the handle. I yank my hand away and he just smiles at me while opening up the door. I just smile and get in. Yep I am so killing Clarissa when I get home. "So you doing anything tonight?" I snap my head and look at Harry. Did he just ask me…what? I just sit there staring at him for a moment. He is nervously tapping the steering wheel. "Um no…unless you count drowning my sorrows in ice cream and chick flicks." We get to my place and he parks then climbs out after me. I get out my key and he follows me still. I turn around and look at him. He stops and looks at the ground. "Would you mind if I hung out with you? Unless Ryan won't like--" I cut him off by slapping my hand over his mouth.
"Ryan isn't in the picture anymore. But sure you can I guess…I'm not as fun as Clarissa though." Harry hugs me and says thank you about five time before letting me go and following me up to the flat.

Hey guys! I hope you like this chapter. I have a question for you guys...do you like how sometimes I mix in other characters POV? I'm just curious...Anyways...what is Harry Styles up to...is he going ot make moves on our beloved Penny? Also what about Niall and Clary finally coming to terms?! Is it smooth sailing from here on out for them? Or will this just be trouble before it starts?Okay here's the deal: I'm going on vacation for two weeks starting tomorrow. Its up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Now there is some wifi but its hit or miss. I will be writing whenever I can up there. But I'm not sure about updating a whole lot. I will have to see...I will try super hard to update. So I am just informing you so you don't get all cranky at me. I would love to update a lot but I'm on vacation so I won't be on my laptop a whole lot. But I promise to try! :) Thanks you guys...love you all so much!
