“Oh my gosh!! You’re finally here! I missed you so much!” I say, still hugging her.

“I missed you too! California is so boring without my best friend.” She said laughing and pulling away from me.

I look back and see Harry standing a little ways away from us. I motion for him to come over and he does.

“Mia, I’d like you to officially meet my boyfriend, Harry.” I said and he gave Mia a hug.

“I feel like I know you already. Lindsay tells me all about you!” he said laughing.

“Oh same here.” She said. “Big fan of your music so it’s great to meet you in person!”

“Should we get you back to my apartment?! You must be so tired after that flight!” I say to Mia. She agreed and picked up her bags. Harry and I helped her carry them to the car.

We drove back to my apartment and Harry helped Mia and I carry her bags inside. We set them down in the living room. Harry walked over to Mia and I.

“I’m going to leave you too to rest and catch up, but Mia, if you’re not too jet lagged, the boys and I were going to go to a club tonight. We would love it if you came with us.”

“That sounds so fun! Yes! I’d love to go!” She said.

“Great well I’ll pick you two up at 7!” He said going and giving Mia a goodbye hug.

He walked over to me and put his arms around my waist. I put my arms around his neck and pulled him in for a hug. We brought his face to mine and gave me a gentle kiss before resting his forehead on mine.

“I love you.” he whispered.

“I love you too.” I said smiling back and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. We broke apart and he walked towards the door.

“Bye Girls! See you at 7!” he yelled and closed the door behind him.

“OH MY GOOOOODDDDDD.” Mia said after a moment of silence. “You two are the cutest thing EVERRRRRR!” She said walking to the kitchen.

She poured us two drinks and brought them over to the couch. We turned on some music.

“So tell me everything. I honestly have never seen two people so in love with each other.” Mia says causing me to blush.

“I love him Mia. I can’t picture my life without him….” I paused. “And it scares me. I mean I’m only in London until the beginning of December. What’s going to happen when I have to move back to California? I can’t leave him, but I can’t stay here.” I said with tears starting to roll down my face.

Mia moved next to me and hugged me. She let me cry on her shoulder and just sat there playing with my hair. I hadn’t told anyone how scared I was to leave Harry. We hadn’t talked about what was going to happen to us once I moved back to the United States.

“If it’s meant to be, you and Harry will find a way. He’s going to be touring so he’ll be in the U.S. a lot and I’m sure you two will make time to see each other. He loves you so much Lindsay. He’s not going to let distant keep you two from being together.”

I wiped the tears from my eyes and caught my breath. “You’re right.” I said to Mia. “I just shouldn’t think about it. We’ll be okay.”

We watched TV for a little while before Mia wanted to take a nap. She was so tired from her long flight. We put her bags in her room and I told her I would wake her up at 4 so we could get ready to go to the club. Just then I got a text from Niall.

Niall: Hey Lindsay! I was wondering if it was okay if I came with Harry to pick you and Mia up tonight? xx

Lindsay: Of course Niall :)

Niall: Thank you! Oh by the way what are Mia’s favorite type of flowers? :)

Lindsay: Oh my gosh you totally have a thing for her… haha she really likes sunflowers!

Niall: Maybe, maybe… THANK YOU!! I will see you at 7 love :) xx

I made myself some lunch, cleaned the house a little and then I decided to go for a run and clear my head. Thinking about leaving Harry was still on my mind and I didn’t want it to ruin tonight. I put on my running gear and headed out to my favorite spot I had discovered when I first moved here. There weren’t a lot of people who knew about it and that’s what I loved so much about it. One I got there I sat down on the ground and stared out into the sky. The sunset was about to happen, I made it just in time.

I sat out and looked at the sky. It was so pretty. Times like this always made me think of my Granddad and how much I missed him. We were really close when I was younger and we would go fishing a lot when I visited him. When the sun was setting that signified the end of our trip and meant we had to pack up and head home. I decided to talk to him. I know it may seem weird, but I really needed his advice right now… or I really just needed someone to talk to.

“Um Hi Granddad… it’s Lindsay. I don’t really know where to start but I want you to know I’m doing great. I’m in London now for school. I’m getting good grades don’t worry.” And I laughed a little. “I really miss you though. I really miss everyone. Don’t get me wrong I love it here, but I miss the California beaches and the sunshine. I miss my family. Heck, I even miss my apartment and my roommates. They’re crazy, but you would love them.”

I smiled and played with some grass near my feet before continuing. “I met a boy here though. You’d really like him Granddad. He’s in a band, which you wouldn’t be too happy about, but it’s a boy band not some heavy metal thing.” I laugh again. “He’s great and I love him. I honestly can’t see myself without him. I’m scared though Granddad. His life is here in England. His family, his friends, his career… it’s here, and all that for me is in California. I leave in a month and I don’t know what I’m going to do. We haven’t even talked about it. He’ll be touring the United States for a while but he’ll have a show every few days. In a new city, and I’ll still be trying to go to school.”

I stopped and tried to hold back my tears. “I don’t want to loose him Granddad. I can’t stand the thought of not being with him. I wonder if this is what you felt for Grandma… I don’t know. But I’m sure that I want him and only him forever. I’m just asking that you keep a watch over me. I’m going to need some help getting through this.”

I watched the sunset right after I finished and I felt my Granddad’s presence there with me. Harry was the only person I wanted. Forever. I’ve known him for 4 months and I was completely in love with him. Normally, that would scare me, but with him it just felt so natural.

I ran back to the house and quickly took a shower. It was 4:30pm and I woke up Mia. She took a shower and we both picked out our outfits for the night.

I decided on a red hig-low dress. It synched near my waist and had a low neckline. I wore a silver statement necklace and added some black strappy heals and a black clutch. I curled my long blonde hair with a wand and it looked amazing. I did black eyeliner with a red lip for my makeup.

Mia decided upon a silver all sequined dress. She wore nude heals and put her hair up into a bun-like updo. She added some stud earrings and kept her makeup very simple. She did apply a some eyeliner and mascara.

The doorbell rang. We both looked ourselves over one more time before going to answer the door.

“Wow! You two look beautiful!” Harry said hugging Mia and then me, but also giving me a kiss.

“Mia! These are for you!” Niall said handing the sunflowers to Mia. “You look great!” He said. She smiled and pulled him in for a hug.

“Thank you! These are beautiful!!!” she said giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“Well you two ready to have some fun?” Harry said and we all gathered our things and headed out to the car.

Harry and I sat in the way back and Mia and Niall sat in the seat in front of us. Harry had his arm around my waist and I rested my head on his shoulder. His other was intertwined with mine and I played with his fingers. He kissed the top of my head and I moved so I was facing him.

He pulled me in and pressed his lips onto mine. His lips were soft and he licked along my bottom lip. I opened my mouth slightly. Our tongues fought for dominance before Harry finally one.

I had my hands on either side of his face and he had his hands on my hips, pulling me closer to him. We made out for a little while longer before he pulled back and rested on my forehead. I was mesmerized by his beautiful eyes and got lost in them.

“You look beautiful. I can’t believe you’re all mine.” He said giving me a small kiss.

We heard loud music coming from outside the car. We broke apart to see where we were and realized we were almost to the club. Mia was resting her head on Niall’s chest and he had his arm around her. I looked a Harry and gestured towards them. He looked and smiled and gave me a silent thumbs up.

“We’re here!” The driver called and we all piled out of the car. Louis, Eleanor, Liam, Danielle, Zayn and Perrie were already inside the club so we headed to the VIP lounge to find them. When we got there it was clear that they had been drinking for awhile.

“Well let’s catch up to them shall we?” Niall said and we all followed him to the bar.

He ordered a 3 rounds of shots for all of us. Mia didn’t even flinch taking them all. Straight. No chaser. Niall noticed and his eyes widened.

“I like a girl who can drink.” He said and pulled her closer to him. Mia laughed and couldn’t stop smiling.

Harry and I took our last shots together and he ordered 2 beers for us.

“I like a girl who can take shots and then chug a beer.” He said poking me. I laughed.

“I’m a baseball fan, Harry. It’s like a rule that you have to like beer.” This caused him to laugh as well. He took my hand and lead us back to the table. Everyone decided that they wanted to go dance and we followed them out there.

I saw Mia and Niall grinding with each other. They were really getting into it and I was glad they were getting along so well.

“Ayy Ladies” by Travis Porter was playing, a song that I really liked. I had Harry behind me and the alcohol was starting to hit me. I always dance really dirty when I drank, but I was with my boyfriend so I knew he would like it. He brought his hands on my hips and I moved with the beat of the song. I dropped low and moved my butt all over him. He brought his head to the crook of my neck and I put my arm behind his head. He moved his hands all over my body and started to kiss on my neck.

We danced for a few more songs then decided to get another drink from the bar. We sat and talked for a little while. The alcohol was starting to hit us both and we went to dance a little more. We moved between the VIP section, the bar and the dance floor for the rest of the night.

It was almost 2am and Harry and I were both pretty tired. The rest of the group wanted to stay and Niall said he would bring Mia back to my apartment. Harry and I said goodbye and decided to catch a cab home. The paparazzi outside the club were ridiculous. I was already having trouble walking from the alcohol, but the bright flashes made it impossible to see. Luckily Harry was a pro and helped me make my way through to the cab.

We made out the whole ride back to Harry’s apartment and when we got there the cab driver coughed and we both broke apart. We got out and Harry paid the driver. He led me inside and poured us some glasses on water. I took my heels off and sat down on the couch. Harry brought the water over and sat next to me.

“I had a great time with you tonight.” He said sipping his water.

“Me too. It always nice to hangout with everyone.” I replied, “Mia and Niall really seemed to be hitting it off didn’t they?”

Harry laughed a bit, “Yeah. I’m glad! He’s been following her on Twitter and texting with her a bit. I think he really likes her.”

“Good for them! It’s nice to see our best friends getting together isn’t it?” I said turning to face him.

“Yeah it is.” He looked down at his water and continued. “It’s just hard because she lives in California and he lives here in London.”

I gulped and looked down at my water too.

“Well yeah, but he’s going on tour soon so they’ll both be in the U.S. at the same time. I’m sure they can meet up and stuff right?” I was now looking at him for his answer.

“Yeah they can, but it won’t be the same as being with each other everyday. I mean there’s skype and cell phones but there’s something about being together.”

“Yeah I know what you mean. But Mia told me that if two people really love each other distance doesn’t mean anything. If they’re meant to be they’ll find a way.” I say and he looks up at me finally meeting my eyes.

“We’re not talking about Mia and Niall anymore are we?” He says grabbing my hand.

I shook my head and looked down trying to hold back the tears. He pulled me close to him and I cuddled up to his chest.

“I love you so much Lindsay. I don’t know how we’re going to do this, but we will because you are the only person I want to be with.” He said his voice a little shaky.

I pulled back and met his eyes. I rested my hand on his cheek and smiled at him.

“I love you Harry Styles. Even half way across the world you’re still going to be the only person I think about. We’re going to make it through this okay?” I said pulling him in for a hug.

We lay back on the couch and cuddled with each other until we fell asleep. Harry and I could do this. A lot of couples have long distance relationships and they make it work. Harry and I loved each other and no tour, or media, or distance was going to break our relationship. Right?!
