Lindsay’s POV

I woke up the next morning with an empty spot next to me. I pulled the covers down and looked around for clothes. After throwing on some yoga pants and a t-shirt, I walk to the bathroom. I throw my hair up into a bun and brush my teeth. I walk downstairs and find Harry and Gemma sitting at the table eating breakfast.

“Good morning!” Gemma piped up from her spot.

“Morning!” I say with a smile and give Harry a hug from behind. He gives me a kiss on the cheek and I take a seat next to him.

“Are you hungry love?” he asks smiling. I nod my head and he gets up to get me some food.

Gemma turns to me and whispers, “So you and Harry last night huh?” Oh my god. I tried to stop myself from blushing but I couldn’t. Did she really hear us? Did that mean everyone else had too? “Don’t worry. Harry told me this morning.” She said and I let out a sigh of relief.

I laughed a little. “Yeah… I mean uh…..” I said before she cut me off.

“You know, he’s never brought a girl home before. Even before he became famous. He would make my mom and I meet her at a school event or something. Never did he invite them over for our family dinners.” She paused, “I’ve never seen him act this way about a girl before. I can tell he really loves you.”

“Wow.” Is all I manage to say; I look at Harry who still getting my breakfast. I watch him and can’t help but smile. I can’t believe I’m the first girl he’s brought home to his family.
“I really love him Gemma.” I say looking back at her.

“I know you do.” She smiles and continues to eat her breakfast.

Harry comes back with my breakfast and places it in front of me.

“Thank you babe.” I say giving him a quick kiss.

“Anything for you.” He says smiling and sits down in his chair. “So today I was hoping I could show you around Homes Chapel. Where I went to school, the bakery I used to work at and even go see a few old friends of mine.”

“That sounds perfect!” I tell him and he smiles. We finish our breakfast and I go upstairs to get changed. I come back downstairs and Harry is waiting by the front door.

“Wow, I’m so lucky!” He says pulling me in for a deep kiss. We break apart and I smile looking down.

“BYE GEMMA!” We shout upstairs and we walked out the door.

The drive around Homes Chapel was beautiful. Harry held my hand while he had the other of the steering wheel. We listened to Ed Sheeran’s new CD and we even sang along at times. Harry had an amazing voice, of course, but I sang softly since I didn’t really want Harry to hear me sing. I did some singing in a group in high school and my friends and family told me I was good but I was still unsure.

The first place we stopped at was Harry’s old school. He showed me all the places that he used to hangout and even where him and his old band White Eskimo preformed for Battle of the Bands. The second place was the bakery that he used to work at, he said the bread was the best and they had just finished making some, so we got some to snack on. We sat down on a bench in the park and ate our bread. Harry put his arm around me and I leaned my head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of my head and rubbed my shoulder.

“I love you.” He said intertwining his fingers with mine.

“I love you too.” I said looking up at his and giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

Harry started to tell me more stories about the bakery and about the times he had spent growing up in this park. We left shortly after and headed to Harry’s friend Will’s house. Harry and Will use to be in White Eskimo and it’d been awhile since he’d seen him. Will told Harry a bunch of his old friends would be coming over today for a small party.

We pulled up to the house and Harry ran around the front and opened the door for me. Taking my hand, he guided me towards the door. A guy with short brown hair answers the door.

“HARRY!!!” He yells and pulls Harry into a huge hug. “How ya been man! It’s been way to long!” He says looking at Harry then making eye contact with me.

“Hello!” He extents his hand. “I’m Will.” He says.

“Ah yes, Will this is my girlfriend Lindsay!” Harry says and I laugh.

“Very nice to meet you Will.” I say shaking his hand.

He leads us into his house and there is a group of some of Harry’s old friends waiting there. He is instantly greeted and brought in for hugs. I stand back with Will.

“It’s been awhile since he’s been back.” He says to me. “We’ve all really missed him.”

I nod and turn to face him, “Well I’m glad I get to meet his friends. I couldn’t imagine my best friend becoming famous all of a sudden.”

“Yeah it was all pretty crazy, but Harry hasn’t changed. He’s still the same guy he’s always been.” I smile and look back to Harry.

He’s messing around with a couple guys and I laugh a little. Will leads me over to the group and Harry comes over to us. He puts his arm around my waist.

“Everyone, this is my girlfriend Lindsay. She’s from California!” I smiled and say hi.

They all introduce themselves to me and I soon learn that their names are Amanda, Kacie, Joanna, Hayden and Nick. I was talking with Kacie when I saw Amanda whisper something in Harry’s ear. He looked concerned and led her outside.

Harry’s POV

I was talking with Hayden when I saw Amanda approaching. Amanda and I dated for a little while before The X Factor and we hadn’t really talked much since then.

“Can I talk to you for a second? It’s important.” She said. I nodded and led her outside, since it was a little noisy in Will’s house.

Once we were outside, I turned to face her and she looked sad.

“What’s wrong love?” I asked her.

“Oh it’s nothing really…” She said still looking down.

“No, please tell me what’s bothering you.”

She met my eyes finally and moved closer to me, suddenly she pushed her lips to mine and wrapped her hands around my neck. I put my hands to her shoulders and pushed her off of me.

“What are you doing?!” I almost yelled.

“What? I know you’re not over me Harry. That girl you have in there is nothing compared to me.” She says and I stand there shocked. Amanda and I hadn’t even talked in 2 years, how could she still think I have feelings for her. I move past her and start to head back to Will’s house but then I see her.

Lindsay is standing on Will’s doorstep. She’s seen everything.
