Hey there! My name is Lindsay Shaw and I’m from San Diego, California. This Fall I’ll be starting my junior year at college, but I’ve decided to study abroad in London!

I know what you’re thinking…One Direction lives there! AHHHHH. I am fully aware that they live there, and yes I am a fan of their music (and think they’re incredibly hot) but no that’s not why I chose London. I have always wanted to study abroad in a country that speaks English as their primary language but has a different culture than the United States. My mom and dad traveled to London when I was younger and seeing their pictures from their trip growing up I have always wanted to go for myself.

So, a little about myself, I’m blonde, tan, about 5’5” and love to travel. I’m from San Diego so I enjoy surfing and the beach. I’m a One Direction fan, Harry Styles being my particular favorite, but I also enjoy Indie music and playing the ukulele. I’m not the traditional girly girl, by any means. Don’t get me wrong I love fashion and hair/makeup but I also love baseball and food. Haha. Take me to a baseball game, or concert, and I’m all yours.

So this is my story, of how my journey to London turned into the greatest adventure of my life and changed my life forever.
