Road Trip
=Chapter Six=
Lydia´s POV:
NO, NO, NO AND NO, I REFUSE TO DO THIS.
I just stare at him while he kept his eyes on the road but I know he knows I´m watching him. I was actually speechless but more importantly, how do I get here? I remember falling asleep just after I ended getting finished on the hotel, but after that I only remember my dream wich consists on me meeting my platonic love and marrying him.
Ok back to my problem.
"Can you just explote already?" He said.
"No"
You are not mad?" He said facing me for a few seconds with a friwn before returnign his eyes to the road.
"No" I said.
"Really?"
"Yeah" I paused. "I´M PISS AS HELL YOU IDIOT"
"Here we come" He said groaning.
"HOW DOES THIS HAPPENS?"
"Niall-"
"NIALL DO THIS? OH HE IS SO GONNA GET IT"
"But he do-"
"HE IS A BIG ASS TRAITOR. I CAN-"
"SHUT UP!" I look at him shocked. "Just shut up and let me explain"
"Go on" I said looking upfront.
"Niall was really tired from your fights, so he literally begged me to change partners" He paused. "I obviously said no cause it´s clearer than water that you doesn´t like me, but somehow I ended up saying yes and well, here you are"
"And you guys put me in this damn car when I was sleeping?"
"Yeah" He said. I was quite for a few seconds.
"Stop the car" I said.
"What?" He look at me.
"Stop the car" I said again.
"No"
"STOP THE DAMN CAR"
"NO I´M NOT" For some reason I was not in the mood to put up a fight, so I let it slide and turned to my side.
"Whatever, I´m going to sleep" And then I driffted off to sleep.
Harry´s POV:
Like hell I was going to stop the car, knowing her she would get out of it and get a ride with a total stranger. I was really relieved when she sayd she was going to sleep, I remember she once told me I was the only person she wouldn´t fight with. I smile at memory and then I focused in the road again.
Twenty minutes I heard her murmuring, she only do this when she´s having a bad dream, so I look at her and yes I know she´s having a nightmare, I grab her hand and make circles with my thumb while I left the other on the wheel.
After five minutes she was now moving, trying to roll to the other side but failed thanks to the belt, then wakes up screaming and I instantly pull over to one side and get out of the car and circled the front of it so I coud go to her side. I opened her door and hold her in my arms, she just grabbed me by the arms and hold me tightly, she was trembeling, a lot so I stroke her hair and kissed her head.
A few minutes later she had already calmed down, so I go back to my seat and just stare at her, when she doesn´t say anything or move I started the car and kept driving.
It was still darl outside, I mean it´s like three thirty in the morning, so yeah. I was just concentraiting on the road when I heard her said something, well it was more a like a whisper.
"What?" I said.
"Thanks" I smile. "But I don´t need your hugs" And my smile is gone and now I was rolling my eyes.
"Couldn´t you just say thank you?" I said pissed and then she rolled her eyes at me. "You.are.so.stubborn"
"No, I´m not stubborn" She said looking at me.
"I´ve known you your whole life and you, are so stubborn"
"You don´t know me anymore, you left" She said while looking out the window and now, I´m really really pissed, I clenched my jaw and a frown appeared on my face.
"WOULD YOU JUST FUCKING FORGTE THAT ALREADY?!"
"HOW COULD I JUST FORGET WHEN MY SUPPOSED "BEST FRIEND" LEAVE ME ON THE MOST DIFFICULT TIME OF MY LIFE!" She screamed at me and I only kept my eyes on the road.
"AND TELL ME, WHAT THAT DIFFICULT MOMENT WAS THAT LITTLE MISS. PERFECT?!" I said facing her.
"YOU WANT TO KNOW? MY PARENTS FUCKING DIED OK? THATS WHAT HAPPEND!" She said with tears now streaming down her cheeks and my feet automatically pressed the brake pedal, we were lucky there were no cars behind us.
"Lydia I-" I was speechless.
Her parents died? What? When? How? Allt this questions on my head and in that moment I realized how much she needed me when back then. I quickly pulled aside, again, and turn off the car. This time, I just stay in my seat, looking at her while she cried with her face hide on her hands, she was shaking and I hontesly didn´t know what to say. I tried to grabbed her hand but she turned to one side giving me her back.
I feel how my eyes started to water, I removed my belt and I didn´t care if she hates me or not, right now, I just want to hold her, hoold her like I should have done back there. I hugged from behind but this time she didn´t refused to, instead, she grab my hands and interwinded her finger with mine.
"Lydia I´m so, so sorry" I said. I was crying and I give a fuck about it. "You don´t know how sorry I am, there isn´t one day of my life when I didn´t regret not telling you, I really wanted to, but I thought that I was just going to cause you pain so, I gues, I thought not telling you was a better idea. I never knew anything about your parents Lydia, I´m so sorry. I should have been there to hold you and be there with you" My voice break. "Please?"
"I missed you" She said turning around hugging me really tight and I let out a sigh of realief, finally.
"I missed you too"
I was really uncomfortable with my position but I really don´t care, just knowing that my Lydia is back, makes me forget everything. We stay like this another few seconds and then we just let go of each other and stare at each other, slowly a smile crept on her face and she wiped a tear that was on my face with her thumb and I couldn´t help but smile.
"We should go" I said and she nodded.
"Let´s go, LA is waiting"
Lydia´s POV:
Finally, I take out off me all this pain, the pain of all these years and knowing that Harry and me are friens again makes me feel happy and somehow, my heart downs´t ache anymore, not as much as it used to.
(Hours later)
"OMG, OMG, OMG, OOOOH MY GOOOD" I said as we arrived at LA, I already have my camera in my hands and call me stupid, but for screaming like and idiot I didnpt take the picture, again.
"You didn´t take the picture" Harry said and I rolled my eyes.
"No, really?" I said sarcastically and he stuck his tongue out at me and I give him the finger.
"Hey, you were supposed to stuck your tongue not give me the finger" He said smiling.
"We are not in middle school anymore" I said while I stuck my tongue out for him.
"Hey maybe sometime you´ll borrow me that camera" He said.
"No, not even Cass touch my baby" I paused. "And you are Mr. I-broke-everything-I-touch, so thats not happening" I said smirking.
"Lydia I´m not that stupid anymore, not you are the klutz one now" He said with a triumphant smirk on his face.
"I´m not a klutz" I said.
"Yes you are, you have to accept it"
"Harry no I´m not" I said.
"Who forgot to take the picture of the sign of LA because she was saying omg and has the camera on her own hands?" I stare at him and then start to laugh.
"Hey I was excited you can´t blame me" I said smiling like an idiot.
"Well, that´s what klutzs do" He said and I laugh.
"I´m glad we´re friends again Harry" I said looking at him.
"Me too" He look at me and smile making his dimmples popped out, those dimples. "You still like my dimples?" He said.
"Actually yes, but sincerely I wa jealous of you having cuter dimples than me" I said.
"Oh but your dimples are cute too" He said poking my dimple.
"But yours are better" I said poking his.
"I know I was trying to make you feel better" He said smirking.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you were the the king of cockiness"
"I was not that-"
"Yes you were" I said cutting hiim off and then we both laugh.
Twenty minutes later all of us were now at a Carl´s Jr. We ordered and me and the girls went to the bathroom while the guys looked for a table. I got into one stall and made my business, I was really peeing in the car. I got out and washed my hands, I smelled them and they smell like fruits Eleanor frown when she see me smelling my hands and then smile.
"You are weird"
"I´ve been told" I wiggled my eyesbrows up and down and then we laugh.
"No, literally she´s weird" Cass said opening her stall.
"You shut up" I said and she smile and roll her eyes.
"Let´s go I´m starving" Eleanor said.
Cass washed her hands and then dried them. We were walking around the restaurant looking for the guys, but honestly it was not hard finding them, it was you just have to look for Zayn´s or Harry´s hair and if that doesn´t work look for Niall´s laugh, unmissable. We finally found them, thanks to Niall and then head to sit with them.
"Why do girls always go to the bathroom in groups?" Louis asked.
"Yeah why?" Niall joined.
"Girls stuff" Cass said.
Minutes later our food arrived, but Harry was enjoying more my fries instead of his and looks like my milkshake too.
"Enjoying my food Harry?" I said.
"Yeah, it tastes good" He said smirking and then sip my milkshake.
"Give me that" I say grabbing it from him.
I look at everyone and they were frowning, yup, they´re confused as fuck, I´ll just exlain to them later they don´t even know the whole story escept from Cass obviously.
While we kept eating the guys said they want to go to the Hollywood sign but me and the girls reafused to it.
"No" I said firmly.
"Why not?" Niall complained.
"I´m going to look ugly as fuck in the pictures. I´m a mess right now"
"Yeah me too" Cass said.
"Why don´t we look somewhere to spend the night?" Harry said.
"Yeah I think it´s more important that right now" Eleanor said.
"We have kombis guys you know?" Louis said. "That means we can fucking sleep in them"
"But we´re going to get a ticket if we spend the night in the kombis on a random place" I said.
"We can always look on the internet somewhere to camp or stay the night" Zayn said.
"Yeah" Liam said.
Minutes later Liam said we can always stay in a hostel, it´s not as expensive as a hotel and he said there wa one in Hollywood and that´s perfect because we want to go tomorrow to the Hollywood sign so everyone agreed and then we head to our cars.
"I can´t wait for tomorrow" I said while closing the door of the car.
"Yeah me neither I want to go to The Walk of Fame" He said smiling.
"ME TOO" I screamed and then we laughed.
I think this road trip is going to be great, we have so much to see and explore, just thinking about it makes me feel all excited. I can´t wait.
