Road Trip
=Chapter Two=
Lydia´s POV:
I was finally on last period when I got a text from Cassidy saying she´ll met me in the bus stop, she have "things" to do, probably Zayn, at the thought of this I smirk, I can´t wait for them to be together. The bell ring signaling school was over and I let out a sigh, I still have work so, my day is not over yet. I was walking down the hallway when Louis poked me from behind making me jump.
"Louis" I said smiling.
"Lydia" He said mimicking me, I roll my eyes and punched his arm. "So, where´s your siamese?" I laugh.
"With Zayn" He frown.
"How do you know?"
"She texted me saying she´ll met me at the bus stop cause she have "things" to do so, it´s not hard to understand she´s with Zayn"
"You know, sometimes you are weird and scary as fuck"
"I know" I said joking.
"You want me to go with you to the bus stop?"
"That will be lovely" I said.
Five minutes later we were at bus stop sitting on a bench waiting for Cass and well, the bus. We were just talking about random stuff when the road thing came into conversation.
"By the way, from were are going to get the money for the transportation"
I frown, it was truth we are six persons so obviously we all can´t go on the same van and me and Cass do not have that much of money, I mean, I could ask to my aunt for a little but it wouldn´t be a lot. But, I mean, we can aways raise money somehow, but the thing is, how?
"Well, we can sell something I don´t know" I said.
"What can we sell, weed?" I give him you got to be kidding me look.
"Yes Louis, we are going to sell weed" I said laughing. "No, something like, cookies or something like that"
"Why are we selling cookies?" Cassidy said appearing out of nowhere.
"For the vans for the trip" Louis said.
"Honestly I wouldn´t buy cookies" Cassidy said. "Let´s sell weed, we will sell it like hot bread"
"That´s what I said!"
"Guys, we are not selling weed" I see the bus coming closer and I groan. "Here comes the bus"
"OK well, see you later guys" Louis said.
"Bye! We´ll talk later about the weed selling!" Cassidy scream and I gasped.
"Let´s go" I said pushing her towards the bus door.
We sit, like always, at the end of the bus cause we like our privacy. Twenty minutes later we were at the mall entrance when I felt my phone buzzed, new text. I read and it was from Niall and the only thing it said it was call me, so I called him.
"Hey" I said when he answer.
"I know what we can sell" He said happily.
"I see Louis told you guys the update"
"Yup"
"Ok so, what can we sell?"
"PIES!" He practically scream in the phone and I have to pulled it away from my ear.
"I think I go deaf" I said. "And why pies?"
"You know the locked up thing is this friday right?"
Everyone once in a year, the school locked us up and we stay a whole night and sleep in there, but honestly, I don´t see where this conversation was going. I was still talking to Niall and I was already on the employers room.
"Yeah and?"
"Well, we can make pies and sell them once we are inside of the school" He said and I considered the idea.
"I think is a great idea Niall!"
"I know! So, are we doing it?"
"Heck yes"
After that I hung up with Niall, I actually do think is a great idea, almost everyone in school goes to that thing so we could definitely raised some money. While we were getting to head to the store I explained everything to Cassidy but she just keep saying the weed thing, wich I said no.
I was now in the store, only that today I have to be cashier cause one of the girls called in sick. A girl came and she was buying tons and tons of clothes, only looking at the pile infront of me I could say that almost five hundred dollars were in there, oh would I kill for that money, anyways, I keep doing my work only thinking about the lunch break.
I was only standing there waiting for someone to come, the store was a little alone today but I actually like it, it´s like there´s only at least eight persons in here so is a really calmed day. I was leaning on the counter with my chin on my hand when Cassidy called me, I turned around and she was showing me a really cool black highwaisted shorts. I give her thumbs up and she smile.
"Let me see them" I said and she walked over to me and handed me the shorts.
"They´re really cute" She said.
"I know and they´re not expensive at all"
"Your buying it?" I checked the shorts one more time and nodded.
Ten minutes later I was ordering my food, we were eating at carl´s jr. I haven´t had a hamburger in ages, the guy handed me me drink and wink, he was good looking, but I was not interested. Finally we got our food and then we went to sit. The meal was really calm and I really enjoy my food, now we were on our way for a smoothie, I really want green apple one.
(Later that night)
"Lydia!" Cassidy called me from the kitchen, I was currently on my room so I got up from my desk and walk towards where she was.
"What´s up" I said leaning on the doorframe.
"They guys say we should bake the pies at Liam´s" She paused. "It´s ok?"
"Yeah it´s ok"
"Okay"
Today it was friday and were already at Liam´s housee ready to bake the pies, we are making apple, banana and peach pies, they´re not going to be like, a big pie, more like a minnie pie. Me and Liam would be making the banana ones, Zayn and Niall the peach ones and Cass and Louis the apple ones. I was cutting the banana but Liam just wouldn´t stop eating them.
"Liam stop eating the bananas!"
"Sorry I can´t help it"
"Hey don´t complain, at leats you´re not with Niall" Zayn said.
"What´s that supposed to mean?" Niall said with a peach on his mouth.
"That you eat like a fucking cow" Louis said causing us all to laugh our asses off.
Twenty minutes later we were already baking our pies, we wait another twenty minutes and take the pies out, we taste one each and honestly, they were fucking delicious.
Once everything was ready Niall gave Cassidy and me a ride home so we could get our things; when we were ready we went back to Niall´s car and then we head, again, to Liam´s place. When we were there the guys were already getting the pies in Zayn´s car, they would take half of the pies and us the other half.
Niall was driving really carefully so the pies wouldn´t get damage or something like that. When we were in school everyone was already there so we take the pies out of the cars and start to take them inside. While I was carrying the pies, that by the way where way too heavies, yeah I said, the pies were heavy, anyways, I was doing this and then I spotted Harry, he was walking with some girls and somehow I remember the old times but instantly pushed those thoughts aside.
He walked past me and stop me, putting a hand over the box of pies.
"You need help?"
"No" I said and he smile.
"But, it looks like you need help" He said smirking.
"I already told you" I paused and look at him. "I don´t need your help"
"I see you are still stubborn" Somehow those words affect me, I doný know how, but they did.
"Fine" I said handing him the box.
I was leading him to where we were putting the pies when he starts, or mostly tried to create conversation.
"And why are you carring boxes of pies?"
"We´re selling them" I said.
"You mean Cass and you?" I roll my eyes.
"Not only us, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn are also helping" We were already there so he left them on a desk where the other pies were.
"Why are you selling them?" I hesitate in telling him the reason but end up telling him anyways.
"We need the money couse were going on a road trip"
"Sounds like fun" He said smiling. I just stare and was about to walk away when he grab me by the arm.
"Lydia I´m-"
"Hey Lydia this is the last one and-" Cassidy said and Harry let go of my arm. "Oh sorry"
"Hey Cass long time no see"
"Hey Hazz how you doing?" She said smiling.
"Great"
"Need to go" I said and exit the room.
I was actually not looking forward to catch up with Harry so, yeah. Ten minutes later we start our pie sell, I was actually really good until I notcie Harry helping out, not that I mind I mean, is better we get to sell everything and that means more money so I ignore it.
We were all in a big table where we have the pies, everyone was selling the pies really fast and I was just standing in there witing for someone to buy my poor banana pies, I frown and then I decided I was going to get to work. I use my "charms" to sell them, I was looking for my first victim when I finally see him, he was a freshmen, easy one. I walked up to him and gave him the biggest dazzling smile I could.
"Hey, I´m Lydia" I said.
"Hey, I umm, I´m John"
"Hello John" I said. "I was wondering if you would like to buy a pie, you´ll see, me and my friends are raising some money for our spring break so it would be lovely if you help us"
"Umm, I don´t have money" He said nervous, ugh of course you have you little liar. I acted as if I was dissapointed and look down.
"Oh, it´s ok" I said looking at him. "Thanks anyways" I said giving him a small smile and turning around, in one, two, three.....
"Wait, I um, I guess I do have some money" I smirk and turn around smiling.
"Really? Omg that´s great thank you so so much" I said happier that I would say it but hey, I need to keep my act on.
In ten more minute all my pies were gone, I turned to see how was everyone going and somehow I forget we actually do have more pies to sell. Harry still have one so I take it and asked a guy that was walking by if he would like to buy it, he said it was ok and I smile, but suddenly Harry take it away from my hands and offer it to another guy, wich the guy said it was ok.
"Harry, I already sell that pie" Looking at the guy beside me.
"But it was my pie" He said smirking. I grab the pie, or more like the box from one side and pulled it towards me.
"Harry give me that pie" He pushed towards him.
"No"
"Edward, give.me.that.pie" I say threathing.
"No" He smirk but oh, I do it aswell.
"You want your pie? Take it" I open the box and grab a really good portion of the pie in my hand and throw it at him.
"Oh no you didn´t" He said removing the pie from his face.
"Oh yes I di-" I was cut off my Harry throwing the rest of the pie at me.
"You are death man" I said grabbing a pie from the table and throwing it at him.
"PIE FIGHT!"
Someone screamed an dthe next you knew was that everyone was throwing pies like mad people, I turne around and see Louis was actually selling the pies so people could get in the pie fight wich cause me to laugh but I shut up with Harry slamming another pie at the top of my head. I stare at him and glare, then I turned to Louis and tell him to gave me a pie and pay for it, hey, I´m not going to waste this pies for nothing.
"Lydia, back off" Harry said taking a step back.
"Like I would" I said smirking.
"Lyd- NO WAIT" I tried to hit him but he dodge it, I grab another pie, wich I paid later and turned to harry with a big smile."IN THE HAIR NO!" He screamed and well, I slammed the pie in his head.
"HAHAHAHA" I was laughing like crazy. "Good hair Styles" I said winking.
"Oh, you are definetely paying for that"
And then, we kept fighting with pies until there were no left, I guess we are not raising a lot of money afterall.
