Lydia´s POV:

The voice of my mother wake me up from my slumber, I slowly look at my surroundings I was still in the car with my parents on our way to my aunt´s house. I look through the window and see heavy rain that was falling and you could literally feel how the wind move our car from side to side, my dad was doing all on his power to make the car stabilize, my mother look at me through the driving mirror and sweetly smile at me.

"Hey sweetie, your up" I smile at her.

"Yeah" I paused. "Mom we are almost there?"

"Ten minutes honey" I smile and turn to see through the window again.

Five minutes later, you can´t even see the road, my dad tried to stop a lot of times but there was too much fog, and the wind was rougher, I was gettnig really nervous. My mom was telling me that everything was ok and that we will be there in no time, wich I only nodded and smile, reassuring her I was ok, but the truth I was not.

Suddenly my dad screamed telling us to be careful, the car was going in all different directions, my mom only hold tightly to her seat or trying to reach my hand, my seatbelt was helping, yeah I was moving a lot thanks to the car moving violently, but it kept me a little safe.

Then, I see light coming our way, my mom was screaming and I couldn´t help but do the same, my father screamed "watch out" annd then my mother turn to me.

"We love you baby, we´ll always do" She said with that smile that I love.

"Mom, dad I-"

The lights got closer and I could only see my mom, I let out a scream when I felt the impact, I feel how my head hit the door of the car and then, everything went black and those words my mother said, were the only thing I could think about while I faint.

"NOOOO" I screamed opening my eyes.

I was painting heavily and I was soaked on my own sweat, I put my hand over my racing heart and moments later Cassidy came through the door, she sit next to me and hugged me, she stroke my head and kissed my forehead.

"Lydia are you ok?" I nodded.

"Yes, I only have a bad dream"

"That dream again?" She already knew about my dream, I have it constantly, not as much as I used to, but is still coming to haunt me sometimes.

"Yeah" She smila and let go of me.

"Come on, breakfast ready" I smile and she offered me her hand and I take it.

"Let me fresh myself up a little"

"Ok, hurry up!" She said going straight to the kicthen.

I entered the bathroom and closed the door behind, I lean on the door and let a single tear slid down my cheek, I quickly wiped it away and look at myself in the mirror. I washed my face and put my hair up in a bun, then I open the door and went to change into a new shirt once I was done I went to the kictchen and find Cassidy humming a song while setting the table with the dishes and glasses.

"I take out the juice?"

"Yup" I smile and went to the fridge to take it out. I set it on the table and sit infront of Cassidy, well, our table only has two chairs so...

"Waffles?" I said.

"Whats wrong with it?" She frown and I chuckle.

"Nothing, its only that, yesterday we ate this for breakfast too"

"Well its not my fault I´m a freak of waffles" I roll my eyes and then we kept eating.

After out breakfast we start to get ready for school, I shower the fastest I can because Cassidy has to shower to, we only have one bathroom in out apartment.

You´ll see, when I was in eighth grade when me and my parents were on a car accident, my parents died and I was the only one who survived. My aunt Amanda is the only family I have, well and Cassidy, but the thing is, after the car accident months later my aunt moved in with her boyfriend and I honestly didn´t want to live with a strange man, so I moved in with Cass and her mother.

Cassidy´s mother is, how can I say it? Different? Well, she will always brings a new man every night and Cass really hate it, so when we were old enough, we move into our own apartment, she pays half the rent and I pay the other half.

I get the money from a bank account my aunt made for me, she used to live here in Portland around three years ago, but now she lives in Spain with her boyfriend, I actually can´t believe they haven´t married, but oh well. The money I have is because my parents left all their money to me, we were not rich ass people tha can swim in their fortune, but we do have the money we need and maybe a little more and me being their only child made it easier and plus, my aunt gave a little of her money too.

My parents and I were from the UK, but when I was around in fourth grade we move in here, so you can say I have the accent and Cassidy all the time tries to imitate me.

I finally finished and walk out of the bathroom allowing Cass to used it, I went straight to my room and look for my clothes. I slip into my panties and bra and then into the rest of my clothes, I applies domelight makeup and then head to Cassidy´s room, I knock and then I let myself in. When I walked inside she wa son her underwear.

"You know Lydia, yo have to wait until I said come in" I smile and ut my hand son my hips.

"Like I haven´t see you in your underwear"

"I was kidding dumbass" I gased and laugh.

"Calm your tits with me Malone"

I wait until she was ready and then we both leave. We walked to our bus stop, yes, we doesn´t own a car so we have to use buses and cabs, I fucking hate it and wait patiently on a bench. After five minutes of waiting the bus finally was here, we boarded the bus and pay and then went to sit at the very end. Fifteen minutes later we were in school.

We were walking down the hallway when our friends approached us, we mostly hang out with guys we don´t even know why, but we do. Liam, one of our friends was running towards us, and I mean it, running. When he get to us he hugged us really tightly.

"My girls, I missed you so much" He let go of us and we both smile.

"We missed you too" Cass said.

"Really? It´s only been three days since we last saw each other" Niall say joining the conversation. "But who the fuck cares? Come here!" We all as me, Cass and Niall hugged and say hi.

"Where´s Zayn and Louis?"

"Somewhere in here" Liam said.

"I see" Cassidy said.

We were just walking down the hallways laughing like idiots when Zayn popped out of nowhere hugging Cassidy from behind, no they´re not dating, but they´ve always had thing since they met, they are cute as fuck together.

"Goodmorning Zayn" I say sarcastically.

"Dude, flirt later please" Niall said smirking.

"Shut up" He said letting go of Cass and she just smile shyly.

"Louis is already in the classroom" Zayn said.

"What a nerd" Liam said joking and then we all laughed.

The bell ring and he head our different ways, Zayn, Louis and me have the first period together, so me and Zayn start to walk away together. We arrived to the classroom and there he was, talking on the phone, probably a new chick. We walked up to him and we wait until he was done.

"Hey guys" Louis said putting his phone on the back pocket of his jeans.

"Hey" I say smiling.

"You ready for a bore ass lesson of history?"

"Yup"

"Wohoo" Zayn said sarcastically.

"How was your weekend?" Lousi asked.

"Boring as hell" I said sitting on my place. "Honestly"

"Mine´s was the same" Louis said.

"I sleep all weekend" Zayn said leaning on my table.

"Ok everyone take you seats and open your books on page one hundred and twelve" The teacher said coming through the door. I groan and the guys rolled their eyes.

School was finally over and Cass and me were already on our to work, we both work at Charlotte Rusee, our shift starts thirty minutes later after school is over, so you can say we always make it just in time but our supervisor is very comprehensive with us cause she knows we have school and that shit.

We arrived and we took the electric stairs cause the store was on the second floor. When we finally get to the store we went directly to the employers room and left our things back there, we fixed ourselves a little to look good, then put our badges on and head to the store.

Our work consists on having the store in order, the racks should be organized for skirts, shirts, jeans, sale, etc. The fitting rooms are the worst, literally, you have to make sure the poeple doesn´t get more clothes then they can to their cubicles, and then if they don´t want the clothes you have to go and placed it on the right rack, sometimes it´s exhausting more on holidays and weekends, but it pays well and we really want and need the money.

Finally it was time four our lunch break, so we head to the food court, while we were walking to get there we were discussing what we want to eat.

"I want subway" I groan.

"Nooo" I look at her. "I want some teriyaki"

"Fine, just because this morning we have waffles"

-(Later that night)-

I was on the bathroom removing my make up when Cassidy knock on the door.

"Come in"

"Sorry I need to pee" I laugh and she do her bussiness while I wash my face. "Finished"

"Me too"

We both exited the bathroom and then we went to my room and sit on my bed.

"Tomorrows payday"

"I know" Cassidy said. "How much money we have?"

I look underneath my bed and take out this glass jar filled with money, then I open it and take out a little piece of paper with the amount of money we have written in it.

"Six hundred forty seven dollars with thirty five cents"

"Only that?" She frowns and let herslef lay completely in the bed. "We´ve been saving since two years"

"Yeah, but we going out every weekend is not helping" I said closing the jar and putting underneath my bed again.

"I´m really tired" I lay beside her.

"Then go to sleep"

"I´m way too lazy to get up and go to my room" She said with puppy eyes and I roll my eyes.

"Fine sleep in here"

"Yay!" She pulled the covers over herlsef and get comfortable. "Goodnight"

"Goodnight" I said.

I stand up and turn off the light and return to my bed and mintes later I driffted off to sleep.

The next morning I open my eyes and noticed Cassidy was still sleeping, I smile and roll to the other side but instead of being on the bed I was on the floor, I guess I made a really loud noise because Cassidy wakes up.

"You are such a klutz" I giggled.

"I know" I checked the hour in my phone and realize we were late for school. "Shit"

"What?"

"We are late for school"

"Fuck"

The next thing you knew, we were running all over the apartment trying to get ready so we could catch the bus on time. I was already brushing my teeths and Cass was trying to put her make up the fastest she could. We finally we ready and we both run to the bus stop and the bus was already there, we ran the fastest we could and thanks god we catch the bus. On our way to school I was applying my make up, I don´t give a fuck if people stare at me. I was finished with my make up when suddenly the bus stop, I look around, there was no stop in here, I frown and look ahead, heck yes, the traffic was huge! We are totally not making it on time.

Thirty minutes later we were runnign down the hallways, we were twenty minutes late, how great.

"Why don´t we skip?" Cass said slowing her pace. "We are already late so" I sighed.

"Fine"

(Minutes later)

I was entering the classroom, it was already second period and I certaintly don´t want to be late for this class. I sit by the window and look through the window and wait the calssroom to fill with people, five minutes later everyone was there and the teacher has already arrived.

I was still looking through the window not concentrating at all at what the teacher was saying until I heard someone knock on the door, everyone stop talking and look at the door, but I just return to space out in the window, the teacher say come in and whoever the person was open the door and then I heard it, that same voice and accent I haven´t heard since five years ago.

I slowly turn my head to the front of the class, fearing that the person standing in the door was the person I was thinking it was and when I finally look at him, my eyes go wide.

Green eyes, the accent, curly brown hair, no doubt, it was him. My heart starts to race and just stare at him in shock, he was talking but I honestly don´t even know what he was saying, all I was thinking about it was this has to be a really bad joke. Finally he looks around the rooom and his eyes stop on me, but just for miliseconds and then he do a double take and his eyes go wide, we stare at each other until the teacher spoke again.

"Say your name to the class please"

"Harry Styles"
