Arabella’s POV

It was 9th grade. I was walking to my locker.
“Hey!” Harry called out. “I have something to ask you…”
“Okay, shoot!”
“Um… Will you be my girlfriend?”
I wasn’t expecting this. We had been dating, but I never thought he’d ask me to be his girlfriend. Of course I would be, but I decided to tease him a little.
“And what would we do as a couple Mr. Styles?”
“There are infinite possibilities with you, Bella.”
“I like that, infinite possibilities. Of course I’ll be your girlfriend Haz.”
“Yes!” he picked me up and spun me around in his arms then placed me on the ground and kissed me. Fireworks seemed to explode around us, and in that moment, I knew he was the one.

I walked up to Harry’s door and knocked. Five minutes… no answer. I tried the doorknob; it was surprisingly unlocked. I walked in and was shocked at what I saw. The apartment was trashed, and I rushed to Harry’s room. I screamed at the sight. Harry lay lifeless on the floor, drowned in a puddle of blood…

“Ahhhh…” I woke up screaming. I was sweating from head to toe. Realization struck me: I still like Harry. False! I love him. I couldn’t bare thinking he was dead; I had to see him. The clock read 8:27. I rushed around to get ready, throwing on a pair of jeans and a plain white tee. After straightening my hair a little, I threw on my usual hat and shades. I looked back at my clock. 8:51.
I ran out the door towards Starbucks grabbing only my phone and keys. When I turned the corner, he was just walking out the door. Moving fast, I ran over and threw myself at him. I felt safe in his arms.
