Infinite Possibilities
Job Searching
When I arrived in London I went straight to my apartment, or “flat” as they call it here. I had shipped the rest of my stuff two weeks earlier so I just had to unpack. After I finished I turned my phone on, I had 3 texts and 2 missed calls all from Danny, so I decided to call him.
“Hey!” I said when he picked up.
“Mom and Dad told me you left, where the hell are you?!?! I was worried about you!” he yelled at me. Nice way to bring it up…
“Let’s just say I’m in a better place than home will ever be for me.”
“I’m happy you don’t have to live with them anymore, but at least tell me where you are.”
I grabbed a candy wrapper and crinkled it like static, “Danny… we’re… breaking… up… BYE!” I hung up. I didn’t want to tell anyone just yet. I was still jetlagged, so I went to sleep; I would search for a job tomorrow.

I woke up at 11, stupid time change. I got up and changed into: http://www.polyvore.com/arabella/set?id=73666773. What can I say, I like hats and sunglasses.
I decided to get searching for a job to keep up with rent. I walked for a while until I saw a “HELP WANTED” sign on a Starbucks. I used to work at one in Oklahoma, so I decided I’d start here. I walked inside and asked the lady at the front about the job offer. She asked me about my experience, so I’m lucky I used to work at a Starbucks. She hired me, and I start Monday. That was fast, but what can I say, I’m undeniable.
I started walking home after I got a Caramel Frappuccino. My flat was only 3 blocks from here thankfully. I felt my phone buzz, so I looked down to see a text from Carly, but as soon as I did someone ran into me. My drink covered me and I fell back to the ground.
“Sorry, love. Let me help you,” the guy that bumped into me said, but why did it sound so familiar…
