Chapter Four
"We live in cities you'll never see on screen
Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things
Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each others team." I sang while playing Harry's guitar.
El and Harry were just drinking their tea, while I sang.
"I'm kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air, so there
So all the cups got broke shards beneath our feet but it wasn’t my fault
And everyone’s competing for a love they won't receive
'Cause what this palace wants is release." I caught a breath then set Harry's guitar to the side.
They clapped until they realized I didn't finish the song. I told them how I was the entertainment at Mia's Cafe. Then I grabbed my tea and started taking small sips since it was hot. It was quiet until El said something. "That was amazing!"
"Thank you." I smiled brightly.
"Bree are you ready to go to your moms' house?" He asked.
"Actually I wanna go see Baron and Gemma." I smiled.
"Okay. We should go right now then." He said while grabbing his keys. I nodded and said "Bye, I'll see you later." To El. She nodded, then I followed Harry out the door to his car.
Once we got in, he started driving. He said how they live really far, and it would take an hour and half or so to get there. Which is perfectly fine with me. As long as they're happy, I'm happy. I turned on the radio, and his music came on. It was a song I'd never heard before. Called Midnight Memories I think.It was like a rock song. Which was pretty cool if you ask me.
"You and me and all our friends
I don't care how much we spend
Baby, this is what the night is for, oh, oh, oh." Niall sang. You could tell it was Niall. Niall still had that baby voice that was adorable.
Then Harry came out.
"I know nothing's making sense
For tonight let's just pretend
I don't wanna stop so give me more, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh." The last oh was like a scream. Which was just beautiful. When I heard the scream I choked on my spit then Harry just smirked at me.
"I can see you liked my scream." He smirked at me again.
"Harry I don't have words for that scream." I coughed. He smirked again. wHO DOES HE THINK HE IS?
I continued to cough until the choking had stop. Then Lorde came out. Which made me super happy.
"And we'll never be royals (royals).
It don't run in our blood,
That kind of luxe just ain't for us.

Let me live that fantasy." Harry and I both sang along. We laughed then just kept on singing. After the song was over some callers called in the radio talking about her.
"I don't like her, because she called all of One Direction ugly. And have you seen her boyfriend?" Some girl said. "She even called Harry ugly had have you seen his beautiful face?"
He chuckled and for some reason that made me mad. No I don't know her, but the fact she called my Harry beautiful. I mean the fact she called Harry beautiful just pisses me off. She doesn't even know him.
Then they started talking about One Direction and their girlfriends.
"Harry and Kendall are dating, how does that make you feel?" The radio host asked some girl that was on the other line.
"Well, honestly I have always disliked Kendall. I would want him to date that really pretty girl he dated before her and Taylor Swift.. Oh what's her name.. Bree! I think that's her name. Harry has talked about her in some interviews, even wrote songs for her. and I've seen pictures of them. Honestly, she seems like she would be a better girlfriend than Kendall." She said.
Oh my god, who is this girl. I want to freaking hug her to death. Harry just kept on driving not saying anything. Pretty awkward.
"really what songs did he write for her?" The radio host asked.
"A couple from the Midnight Memories album.. Even Story of my Life."
"Okay.. Well.." The tune started coming out. "Story of my Life for Bree by One Direction!" He stopped speaking then the song was playing.
Harry just kept his eyes on the rode, not speaking to me.
"So you dated Taylor Swift?" I asked. He started laughing, he knows I've always hated her.
"Yeah I did." He chuckled.
"Oh sounds amazing." I said sarcastically.
"Not really, she was really boring. But a really good kisser. Not to mention she was hot." He laughed.
"Like I said sounds amazing. Just saying she's gonna write a song about you." I laughed.
"Fine with me, I'll write a song about her.. But it won't be as good as yours." He smiled. I gave a smile back.
I started texting Ashton just to tell him that I'm okay, and that I love him. Or I think I do. Scratch out the I love you part.
A ringing came out on Harry's phone. I looked who it was from. It said "Babe." So I'm assuming Kendall.
"Press answer and tell them I'm not here." He said.
"Its Kendall." I said.
"Shit give me my phone." I gave it to him and he answered it.
"Hey baby." Those words hurt me. Maybe I do have feelings for Harry.
"Yeah sorry I didn't tell you." He said.
"Look I said I was sorry." His voice got stern and his jaw tightened.
"You know Bree is just a friend. Plus she has a boyfriend."
Yeah I'm still here by the way. The awkwardness is just too real.
"Okay.. Then we're over." Then he hung up.
Woah. For some reason those words made me happy.
"We're here." Harry smiled. And pulled up to this house. It was a two story house, and it had a black Chrysler 300 in the drive way. I got out, and rang the door bell. I heard Baron yell "I'll get it babe." Then he opened the door. He looked great. He looked happy. Well not at first he looked shocked then hugged me.
"I missed you so much." He said.
"I missed you more."
He greeted us inside, and I saw two little kids in the living room playing with some toys. One boy, one girl.
"Natalie, Jason; come and meet your aunt Bree." He smiled. By this point I was in tears.
"Hi Auntie Bree." Natalie waved to me. Funny my middle name is Natalie. I bent down to hug her, and she kissed my cheek.
"Hi." Jason smiled then hugged my leg. I was speechless. These were twins. They looked alike.
Then Gemma came in.
"Oh Bree!" She came towards me and hugged me. "How are you?" She asked.
"I'm great, how about you?" I said smiling while wiping my tears.
"We're amazing, are you hungry?" She asked.
"Kinda." I smiled.
"Baron go start the car." She smiled. He did, and he took the kids.
"Lets go get some food."
We all went to the car. Harry decided to take his car, and follow. I decided to sit in the back with the twins. We all started driving to Nando's. Haven't been there in forever. But Baron said Niall got the kids to eat there one day, and they loved it.
"Auntie Bree you are bery pretty." Natalie smiled.
"Oh so are you Natalie. You look like your mommy." I smiled. And Gemma patted my leg.
"What about me?" Jason said.
"You look like you daddy which is very very handsome." I smiled.
"Yay!" He giggled. Which caused me to laugh.
Maybe this is my life right here, instead of Michigan with Ashton.
