Chapter Two
Harry's POV
I couldn't help much but think of the fact that Ashton's dating my ex. Not only my ex, but Bree. The girl who had that amazing personality but never believed it. The girl that would do anything to make somebody feel better, even if it made her sad. I loved her. She may not believe that, but that doesn't change my feelings towards her. Ashton drove us to his place to hang out. He said the rest of the guys were gonna be here. The guys meaning Luke, Michael, and Calum. They were all pretty cool to be honest. Mostly Ashton. He was the funny one. He was also an amazing guy. Just generally speaking. He was so kind to all of his fans. Now I know why Bree and him lasted a year. Unlike, me and her lasted 10 months. Then again, I was the one that left her.
Bree has changed a lot in the past four years. She dyed her hair blonde, and her style has changed a bit too. She would wear short shorts with crop tops. Now, she's a bit old-fashioned. But her love for music hasn't changed. Hearing her sing Buzzcut Season made me realize something. She's not the innocent, shy girl anymore. She's been through a lot. Mostly from me. Man, I bet I would've saved a bunch of her tears if we never started dating. She sang with pure emotion. Maybe that's why I love her. I suddenly got a text from Kendall.
From: Babe. 10:41 pm
Hey babe! Are you still with the boys and Ashton?
Only Bree called us the boys.
To:Babe. 10:43 pm
Yeah, I'll call you tomorrow morning.
From: Babe. 10:49 pm
Okay, I love you! :* ♥
To: Babe. 10:51 pm
I love you too.
All of a sudden we heard a couple knocks. When Ashton answered the door we saw Luke, Michael, Calum.. Along with Bree, and some blonde. She was pretty, but Bree was beautiful. The outfit she was wearing wow.
Bree's POV
Taylor and I rushed getting ready because we were shopping. Whatever. Luke rang the door bell then signaled us to the car. Once we got outside he put his arm around Taylor. Her and Luke have been dating for about 2 years. He's planning on giving her this ring for Valentines Day. Which is in 10 days to be exact. Harry turned 20 a couple days ago. I haven't stopped thinking about Harry since earlier today at Mia's Cafe. Ashton said we were all gonna hang out at his house. Including the boys. I'm trying not to really make it a big deal. But anyways, once I got in the van I sat next to Calum. He was a nice guy. We weren't best friends, but we were close ish I guess. The drive was quite and swift. I knocked on the door, and Ashton opened it. But knowing Luke, he pushed me out of the way and hugged Ashton. I don't even know what's wrong with him. Which caused everybody to laugh. Even Harry. When I walked all the boys gave me a hug. When Harry hugged me he smelled good. Pretty familiar. Then Ashton wrapped me in his arms and gave me a wet, passionate kiss. I sat beside him and they all started talking to me.
"How are you guys?" I asked.
"Amazing." Zayn smiled.
"Wonderful." Niall smiled widely.
"We're great." Liam spoke up.
"Great, how about you?" Louis smiled.
"Oh, I'm fine." I smiled. Then I looked at Harry. "How about you Harry?" I smiled trying to be friendly.
"Just fine." He smiled.
Just fine? What's wrong with him? They all started talking casually. Nothing really important. Ashton and the boys left to go get some food. Taylor went along, just leaving me alone with the boys. Awkward.
"So how are the girls'?" I asked the boys.
"Eleanor is great." Louis smiled.
"Perrie said she really misses you." Zayn smiled.
"Goes the same for Danielle." Liam looked up with a smile then looked down confused.
"Well tell them I plan on going to Holmes Chapel very soon." I smiled.
"How's your dad?" I asked Niall.
"Pretty good. He's still with your mom... Engaged."
"Really?" I asked astonished.
"Yeah. Baron and Gemma also got married." He added.
I punched Harry's arm.
"What the hell?" I yelled.
"What?" He yelled back.
"Why didn't you call and tell me?!"
"Because you fucking left!" He screamed.
No. He. Did. Not. When he noticed I was sad he tried to say sorry.
"Bree, no-" I cut him off.
"Excuse me? Did you just say I left you? Harry we both know damn well you left me, and went to England." I yelled.
"TO FIX THE SITUATION WE WERE IN." He yelled back.
"At least fucking tell me! You just left a fucking note! what happened to communication? You left as if you didn't giver a fuck about my damn feelings!"
"I'm sorry okay!" He said while one tear rolled down his cheek.
"Sorry doesn't fix everything Harry. I spent night to night crying and thinking anything wrong I could've done to make you... Hmm what's the word uh.. Unsatisfied with me. Do you not know the fucking pain you've put me in?" I said with with tears while the boys left the room. Then the front door opened.
By this time, I had full blown tears in my eyes. Ashton never saw this side of me. He dropped the food, and came to me. Pulling me in his arm. Asking me what's wrong.
"Lets go to my room." He whispered. I nodded and we walked to his room.
I told him everything. From me and Harry. To what just happened not even 10 minutes ago. He nodded and then pulled out our favorite book. "The Fault in our Stars." By John Green. I've read that book so many times, and it never gets old.
"Augustus half smiled. "Because you're beautiful. I enjoy looking at beautiful people, and decided a while ago not to deny myself the simpler pleasures of existence." Ashton read in a soft whisper. Whenever he read to me, it was always calming to me. When he saw I was calmed he gave a smirk, and put the book up.
"Want me to take you home?" He offered.
"I want to stay here." I smiled. "Until they leave I'll stay in your room."
"Are you sure?" He looked uneasy. "Want me to stay with you? Bring you some food?"
"I'm fine go have fun." I smiled.
"Okay." He pecked my lips, and left. I laid my head on his pillow and started over-thinking.
