Vampires Rule

My Master reluncantly pointed to a slave right next to me.

She was around 5 or 6 years older than me, for the first time I knew why she was wearing a scalf, to hide my masters bite mark.

The Prince walked up to the us and grabbed the slaves chin, looking deep into her eyes, she couldn’t help but flinch as Louis’s eyes stared into her.

The Prince frowned “Mmmmh, I heard blood slaves tended to have amazing tasting blood but no offence, I need someone…younger, more my age..”

His eyes drifted from her face to the next girl standing next to the blood slave…Me…

A his lips turned up slightly in a smile as he looked at me. I stiffened all over, my heard beating wildly in my chest, from fear. The prince moved towards me and said smoothy “Quite average but she smells nice and young, maybe…she would do?”

“Whats your name Human?” He asked me coldly.

I stammered “C-calypso…Sir”

He murmured “Calypso…Pretty name” He gives me a once over look before saying, still looking at me “I’ll take her”

My master, or should I say ex Master said “You’ve decided?”

“Again, english is your first language is it not? I believe you understand what I’ll take her means?”

The prince’s uncle looked like he had swallowed something unpleasant as he said with forced politeness and suddenly more formal “Sorry if I misunderstood Sire”

The prince’s face seemed to light up at how his uncle addressed him and his slight smile grow into a wider smile, showing teeth but it was still, how can explain this? I guess it just didn’t give of any warmth like a real smile does.

The prince grinned then straightened to his full height and said, glancing at his Uncle “I’ll pay you when I know she’s satisfactory, a week from now”

The uncle looked like he wasn’t to protest but wisely held his tong, The prince smiled mockingly at him before he walked out of the room, the guards gave way to him and him giving me a brief glance that told me I should follow him.

I stumbled after him, I felt fear but also excitement, my new life was finally beginning, I didn’t look back…
