Chapter 1
January 9th 2010:
The name is Eve, I am 15 years old, and right now, I am on the bus to Manchester to meet a friend. This friend is not from school, he is someone I have been chatting to over Facebook. We have both agreed to meet up but a bring a friend with us, you see, me and Tom like each other and im bringing a friend for his friend, Harry he said his name was. Ive seen pictures of him, hes cute, perfect for Beth.
As me and Beth wait in McDonalds whilst chatting about all sorts of rubbish, I hear the door open, in comes Tom, just as I imagined him, tall, quite toned, spiky hair, lovely chocolate brown eyes. Whilst I was just thinking how great it was he wasn’t a 50 year old bald guy, in came Harry, not as tall or toned as Tom but WOW! The guy was gorgeous, at this point I wished I was Beth sssooo much. Then me and Harry locked eyes, and straight away I knew that if I was kissing anyone tonight it would be Harry. ‘ Hi Eve, nice to finally meet you!’ Tom says as we hug. ‘You too, this is Beth, I brought her for Harry’ I say winking. I look at Beth who is slightly blushing, yet Harry’s eyes don’t leave mine. ‘Aww, I was hoping she was for me!’ Tom whines. I giggle, but glad he wants Beth and not me.
A few hours pass and Tom and Beth have hit it off great! All four of us walking around Manchester having a good time…..NOT!! Me and Harry have not said one word to eachother! He is really cute, but he seems strange, just looking at me not saying anything.’ So how old are you?’ I ask, trying to start a conversation, ‘nearly 16’ he simply says, ‘oh right’. Oh, my god! Why?!
As me and Beth say goodbye to Tom and Harry, Tom and Beth have a kiss. Just think, I could be kissing Tom but no, Harry has to be more attractive, about time I stop being shallow. As Tom and Beth are swallowing each other, I attempt a casual goodbye to Harry, ‘Ok, well it was nice t….’ I am quickly interrupted by Harrys lips crashing into mine. The longer our mouths are connected, the more my entire body turns into jelly! He puts his hands around my waist and I place mine around his neck and he presses his body to mine. As we both pull back for air, I hear Beth giggling, but I can’t keep my eyes of Harrys, his face straight but his eyes are smiling back at my smiling eyes. We all say goodbye and exchange numbers, Harry says he will text me later, cant wait.
On the bus home, me and Beth can not stop talking about the amazing day we had. Just as Beth gets off at her stop, I receive a text; meet me next Saturday, same time, same place, Harry x
I don’t text back, I just sit there listening to my music smiling like I’ve just been kissed.
