For your Best Friends cutting issue, there is two different bits of advice.

Whether she is cutting because she wants to die or if she is cutting because she needs to take her mind off hard things matters, the first one is way more major then the second.

Either way you need to make her feel special and loved.


Something I recommend is get together with all her other friends,

1- Set up some sort of get together, a party, shopping , or grabbing food. Make sure you do things like this regularly to make her feel special.

2- Write tons of nice letters or notes. Every day, put sweet notes where ever you can. Her purse, backpack, locker, bedroom, ect.

3- Find a way for her never to be completely alone without seeming clingy.

4- Send cute texts like "thinking of you" "you are loved" ect.

5- sit down and talk to her about it, say something like
but never be like this

"you need to stop cutting because you look like a freak."

Be more like

" I hate to see you hurt,"
