Complications
“ She’s about 120 – 125 pounds, I don’t know what that would be in stones” I answer the paramedic.
“ How old is she and how far along is she?” The paramedic looks quizzically at me while jotting down notes on a piece of paper.
“ She’s 24 years old and she’s about 4 months pregnant” I put my hand up to my cheek as the two other paramedics roll Dani out of the room with Liam at her side.
“ Is that the father?” She use’s her pen to point at Liam
“ Yes” I nod
“ So we will take her in and have her checked out” I hear the click of the writing utensil and she follows the rest of the group out to the Ambulance. I turn quickly and scan the room for Harry, I see him walking towards me from the door.
“ Lets go tell the others love, get dressed and then we can drive up” He holds out his hand and I intertwine my fingers with his, I smile weakly up at him as he presses a soothing kiss to my forehead.

“Niall I won !” I hear Louis shouting at the top of his lungs while standing on the coffee table
“ No way mate it says I won” He replies, face red from laughing.
“ That’s cause you cheated Niall” Zayn chimes in, Harry clears his throat.
“ Hey Nina!” Niall pipes up, I smile small.
“ Come play with us mate so I can kick your ass like I have Nialls” Louis waves his hand towards the Wii
“ Dani’s in the hospital” Harry says blatantly
“ What? Why? Where’s Liam?” Zayn stands up abruptly
“ He’s with her, an ambulance came and she’s left” I answer him quietly
“ Well we need to go” Niall is second to stand
“ Where’s El?” I glance at a worried Louis
“ She’s still in bed”
“ We have an interview today Harry” Zayn says exasperated
“ I’ll reschedule” He says before heading to the bedroom pulling my bag and me with him. I release his hand as soon as we enter the room and rush over with my bag to the bed where I pull out http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=77397340 , I turn to see Harry rapidly getting changed on the spot, my eyes skim along his naked body greedily.
“ Admiring the view?” He smirks, I blush and strip myself of Harry’s tee shirt and boxers, and I hear his gasp.
“ You’ve got a bruise on your hip” He says before taking a few strides in my direction, gently tracing his finger on the purple mark.
“ That’s a hikky Harry” I fold my arms
“ From who?” He snaps, looking up at me eyebrows creased
“ From you dork” I put my hands on his cheeks and press a kiss on him.
“ Now let me put clothes on”
“ You always look so beautiful” He says as I zip up my pants, I smirk and flash him a small grin
“ Lets go” I head for the door just before Harry locks his hand with mine
I walk out to see the rest of the group waiting for us by the door impatiently.
“ Come” El says weakly opening the door
I place my hand over my chest where my “H” necklace lays, Harry moves his left hand from the steering wheel of his car and puts it on top of mine.
“ She’s going to be fine” He says raspy turning into the hospital drive way.
I rush out of the car immediately after Harry has parked.
“ I have to get a parking ticket babe you go in” I hear Harry shout as I get to the sliding doors.
“ I was wondering if you could tell me where Danielle Peazer is” I speak kindly to the young blonde nurse behind the desk, she smiles up at me before typing something into her computer, I see Harry from the corner of my eye emerge from the sliding doors. He snakes his arm around my waist as the nurse speaks.
“ She’s on the third floor in room 7” She blushes as her eyes hit Harrys, clearly affected by his good looks.
“ Thanks dear” He speaks and walks away from the desk, his hand intertwined with mine.
“ She checked you out” I say quietly
“ Did she?, I hadn’t noticed” He cocks his head to one side as if what I said made no sense, I huff.
“ You jealous babe?” He asks amused
“ No” I snap
“ Well now you know what I have to deal with when every guy we pass stares you down” He snaps back at me, I face him and hop onto my tippy toes and slowly plant a kiss on his cheek.
“ You’re mine” I grin at him and the elevator dings.

“ Hey” Liam stands from his chair beside Dani
“ How is she?” Harry asks as I look at the bed, Dani seems to be sleeping, she has an IV in one arm.
“ She’s fine, the doctor said this is common sometimes with pregnancies.” He smiles
“ When can she go home?” I say
“ Today” He sits back down just as the others get into the room
“ Dani” El shrieks and runs to her side
“ She’s fine guys” Liam reassures the group
“ So what happened?” Zayn says confused, Louis moves and sits in the extra chair beside Liam
“ We don’t know but she’s fine and the baby is fine” We hear the door open and a tall brunette young pretty brown eyed doctor walks in – seriously why are all the girls in this hospital so pretty.. I see her smile at Harry who gives her a small grin back, she turns her attention to Dani who is still asleep – good bitch do your job, I roll my eyes and I hear Harry chuckle.
“ Liam would you wake her up? We’re going to do an ultrasound” She speaks kindly and high pitched
“ Oooh waking Dani up, she’s not going to like that, I did it once and she almost tore my head off” Niall laughs from the corner
“ Babe wake up” Liam shakes her gently and she comes to life
“ Whaaat” She mumbles
“ We’re going to do an ultrasound” The doctor says cheery, too cheery
“ Please sit up and lift your top” She says as she moves around the room collecting items she needs to preform the task. Dani looks cautiously around the room at us before lifting her shirt only high enough to see her baby bump. The doctor shoos Liam and Louis out of the chairs and squirts blue gel on her stomach.
“ It’s cold” Dani complains and Louis stifles a laugh, the doctor ignores Dani and moves the wand around her stomach.
“ See, that’s the heartbeat” She points to the screen and everyone’s eyes shoot up.
“ There’s the head” She clicks a button and the screen freezes
“ So that’s the head, and those are arms, and there’s the legs” She smiles down at Dani who has nothing but fascination written across her face.
“ That’s so cool” Niall moves closer to the bed
“ Do you want to know the gender?” The doctor asks, Dani looks over to Liam
“ Yes” Liam pipes up grinning
“ Well if we look here, we see three lines in-between the legs, which means you have a girl” She smiles big up to Liam, who’s color has drained from his face. A smile grows across my face, a baby girl.
“ A girl babe!” Dani speaks excited
“ I think he’s going to pass out” Lou says before putting his hand on Liams back
“ A girl, that’s so exciting what are we going to name her?” El asks practically crying with excitement
“ Can we get Liam some water first” Louis speaks again laughing hard and I see Liam sitting in a chair, face white as a ghost.
“ Looks like Liams a little frightened” Harry jokes
“ Nina why are you so quiet?” Dani asks me, I hadn’t noticed that I wasn’t participating. Harry turns and looks at me concerned
“ I’m really tired” I say quickly
“ Didn’t get much sleep eh?” Zayn winks
“ I’m going to go get water, does anyone else want anything?” I ask slowly walking to the door
“ I’ll come with you” Harry joins my side
“ I can go alone stay here” I smile
“ I’ll go with you, I want to get food anyways” Niall walks next to me, I smile shyly at him, I’ve never been alone with Niall before.
“ See I’ve got Niall, I’ll be fine” Harrys face is hard, lips made into a straight line. I grinned wickedly and his face softened, I pecked his cheek quickly before following Niall out the door.
“ So how are you?” Niall asks me sweetly
“ I’m good, how are you” I ask smiling as we walk down the hospital corridor
“ I’m alright” He replies dull
“ What’s on your mind?”
“ A girl”
“ Oh yeah? And what seems to be the problem with this girl” I say as we get to the cafeteria
“ She’s the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen” He say’s quietly, my cheeks turn red, I didn’t know Niall was a romantic
“ Niall that’s not a bad thing” I giggle and he gives me a small smile
“ What’s wrong with her?”
“ She’s dating one of my best friends” He says slowly, I gulp.
“ I can see where that might be a problem” I caution
“ The thing is, I could treat her so much better than he could. He doesn’t deserve her” He stares at his fingers and it all becomes too clear to me.
“ Nina” His voice is low and quiet
“hmm?” I grab three waters from the cooler, avoiding Nialls eye contact.
“ I think I’m in love with you”
I freeze.
