My Cupcake Girl

I didn't really know what to do, I mean I want to comfort Dj but, someone's already taking care of that. I mentally sigh trying to figure out what to do. Before I can even decide on what I want to do Joey came running and pushing through the crowd.

"Dj!" Joey yelled. She pulled out of the hug with that guy. Mental cheer! Anyways, she pulled out of the hug and ran to Joey.

DJ's p.o.v
Oh my god! Today is such a terrible day! Well atleast I have Joey here to comfort me and James. I pulled Joey into a bone crushing hug while he just stroked my hair trying to calm me down. Not too far away I saw Kevin.

"Joey let's go we have practice!" Kevin shouted at him. Joey stiffened in my arms and released me.

"You know your becoming a real douche you know that?" Joey shouted back getting fired up.

"Don't talk to me that way if you value your position on our team!" Kevin spat as he glared at Joey.
Just as Joey was about to say something back I interrupted him.

"I'm not worth it. I know you think I am but, this is your dream and I don't want to be the reason why you couldn't live it." i said softly looking into his eyes. His look softened.
"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything."he whispered.

"Hey, its alright its not your fault, just go to practice okay? I'll be cheering you on during the tournament." I replied while smiling towards the end trying to show him that this wasn't effecting me. Even though he's my best friend i can still hide my feeling from him without him noticing. The truth is, i'm not okay. My own brother kicked me out of our team,my dream to be a professional gamer is done. I can only hope to find a new team. Even though I was replaced by his girlfriend i still won't forget mine and Kevin's argument before I ran out of there. Those word he spoke to me,"You were never even a good gamer we just kept you on the team because you're my sister and Joey's best friend." That cut me deep, the scene replayed in my head as I watched Joey walk away. I then felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see James. I smiled at him and he smiled back and led me to his team's gaming area that the hotel supplied them with. Out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw Harry but, when i turned he wasn't there. Dissapointed I continued to walk with James. Then I thought, he won't like you Dj your a geek and he's a popstar you guys won't mix, he probably think of you as a friend.
