*Louis` POV*

Once we got everyone into the boat, Niall started it up and drove us out into the water. "Alright, who`s first on the tube?" He called once we got far enough out to go tubing, but still close enough to the shore that we could see it.

"I want to go first!" Calla squealed, a huge grin on her face.

"I`ll go with her," I volunteered, standing up next to her. Niall nodded and tossed the tube out behind the boat. I helped her onto the tube first and then I climbed on next to her.

"I love tubing!" Calla told me, the adorable smile still on her face. Then her face suddenly fell. "Is Niall good at driving boats?"

I laughed and nodded. "He`s the best driver of all of us, don`t worry." Suddenly, as I was looking at her beautiful, ice blue eyes, I had a burst of courage. "Calla, I know we don`t know each other very well, but I like you, and I`m pretty sure you like me, so-" She cut me off by pressing her lips to mine, smiling.

"Yes," She said when she pulled away. My lips formed a huge grin and I grabbed her hand, kissing the back of it. Her cheeks flushed red. "We`re ready, Niall!" She called, not taking her eyes off me.

When we were done tubing nearly two hours later, we went back to the shore and climbed out of the boat and onto the dock. "How about another bonfire tonight?" Harry suggested, his arm slung around Alli`s shoulders. I nodded.

"Sounds good. Alli and I are just gonna go change into some warmer clothes," Calla told us, shivering in her swimsuit to prove her point. Alli nodded and followed her back to their house.

The boys and I gathered up some firewood that managed to stay dry through the rain we`d been getting recently. Niall and Zayn brought back some s`mores stuff and hot dogs to cook over the fire while Liam, Harry and I arranged chairs around the firepit. Then we sat and waited for the girls to come back.


*Calla`s POV*

As soon as Alli and I entered my house, my parents started yelling. "Where have you two been? You just left! I cannot believe you ditched Cameron!" Blah, blah, blah.

"We`re sorry, okay? We had plans with some friends we met earlier and we didn`t want to ditch them. We`re gonna go have a bonfire with them now, and Cameron can come if he wants to," I replied smoothly, stealing a glance at Cameron, who was eying us from his spot on the kitchen stool. My parents glanced at each other and nodded. "Perfect!" I chirped. "We`re just going to change into some warmer clothes. Cam, you coming?"

Cameron stood and nodded. "Okay, good!" Alli said, climbing the stairs. I followed her closely and a moment later we were followed by Cameron. "Coming to watch us change, Cam?" Alli teased, a smirk on her face.

Cam chuckled and shook his head. "Same old Alli. And no, but I kinda need to talk to Calla. Alone," He added, glancing at me.

I nodded and then faced Alli. "Be back in a minute," I promised her, following Cameron down the hall to the vacant guest room.

We entered the room and Cameron closed the door behind him. I slumped on the bed and watched him, waiting. "Well?" I asked.

Cam sank down on the bed next to me and heaved a sigh. "I missed you, Cal," He mumbled.

I let out a small laugh. "We haven`t been gone for long, Cam." I told him, sitting Indian-style on the bed and tracing the floral bedspread. "What do you really need to tell me?"

Suddenly, he grabbed my face between his large hands and kissed me gently. My heart sped up. I had been waiting for this kiss for so, so long. My hands flew to his neck and I ran my hands through his blonde hair, deepening the kiss. Then I remembered Louis. His gorgeous blue eyes, soft hair, and impossibly straight teeth. His sweet personality and hilarious sense of humor. I pulled away from Cameron, not believing what I had just done.

"Cam, no. This can`t happen. Not now. I`m so sorry," I breathed, not able to look him in the eye.

Cameron`s ear-to-ear grin fell. "What? But you kissed me back-"

"I have a boyfriend," I blurted, cutting him off.

His brown eyes widened and he stood, a confused look on his face. "But you kissed me back! Calla, I`ve been waiting to do that for so long, but I`ve never gotten the courage. The truth is, I`ve liked you ever since third grade," He admitted.

"Oh," I said weakly.

He nodded and ran a hand through his hair. "I thought you had feelings for me, too,"

"I did! I never knew you liked me, because you always hooked up with those sluts at school!" My voice rose to a hushed yell, not wanting to alarm Alli.

"I was trying to get your attention! That`s all I ever wanted!"

"Well that`s not a good way to get the attention of the girl you like!" I snapped. Then I glanced at my phone, which said the time was 8:12. Alli and I had been away from the guys for about half an hour, soon they`d worry about us. "I gotta go," I muttered, storming out of the guest room and back to my room, slamming the door before Cameron could get in here. Alli shot me a questioning glance as I changed into skinny jeans, flip flops, and a hoodie. I brushed out my hair, leaving it naturally wavy, and slid my phone into my hoodie pocket.

"Ready?" I asked Alli, acting like nothing happened.

She frowned and eyed me up and down. "What just happened?" She asked cautiously.

I shook my head. "I don`t want to talk about it. Cameron`s not coming to the bonfire with us, he wants to stay here."

Alli nodded without questioning me any further. "Let`s go." She said, leaving our room and going downstairs. I followed her outside and we returned to the boys, who had started the fire and were already making s`mores. I scooted my chair next to Louis` chair and sat down.

"You alright, love?" He asked, tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear.

I nodded and placed my hand on top of his. "Perfect,"
