*Calla`s POV*

I could only squeak out his name before he pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. It felt good to have his arms wrapped around me again. I`d come to miss it. Almost reluctantly, I wrapped my arms around Cameron and took a deep breath, inhaling the familiar smell of mint that he always had. Then he pulled away and looked down at me, beaming. Before either of us could say anything, Alli launched herself at Cameron, screaming at him.

"What are you doing here? How long have you been here? When did you get here? Why didn`t you tell us you were coming?" The words tumbled out of her mouth at record speed, her brown eyes demanding an answer.

Cameron laughed and returned to his seat on the kitchen stool. "Calla`s parents invited us here," He said, motioning to my parents and his parents seated at the table. "Her mom said they have space in the guest house, so here we are,"

I sank down, taking this in. "So, what you`re saying is...you`re here, for the whole summer?" I asked softly, glancing up at Cameron`s smiling face. He nodded and pulled me into another hug.

"Isn`t that great?" He whispered into my ear, sending chills up my spine.

I opened my mouth to speak, but the words wouldn`t come out, so I nodded. Alli shot me a sympathetic look over his shoulder. This was going to be a long summer.

*Alli`s POV*

"Hey Cal, can I talk to you? Alone?" I asked, glancing at Calla. Cameron released her from his hug and she scampered over to me, biting her lip. Then we went upstairs to our room and gently closed the door behind us. She slumped on her bed, threw her face in her pillow, and screamed. I plopped on the bed beside her and rolled her over so that she was lying on her back. "Explain." I commanded. She heaved a sigh and sat up.

"I don`t know, Al. I just don`t know! I`ve liked Cameron for so long. You know that. And I thought he liked me back, the way he acted around me. Then he keeps hooking up with these random sluts at school without a word to me! Now, we`re here, having the time of our lives with five gorgeous boys we met on vacation, and he shows up out of nowhere, and now I think I like Louis, and I`m pretty sure he likes me! What the hell!" She ranted, pulling her hands down her face in frustration.

I patted her back in an attempt to comfort her but she shook me off gently. Then I squeezed her in a hug. "Dammit Cal, I`m going to comfort you!" I yelled, trying to make her smile. She let out a small giggle and I pumped my fist triumphantly. Then we sat in silence on her bed for a moment, hugging.

"Thanks, Alli," She said softly. "For everything."

I nodded and pulled away, smiling at my best friend. "You`re welcome, Calla,"

Her smile quickly faded. "I still don`t know what to do,"

"As much as I dislike the thought of Louis and you as a couple, you two are adorable together. And if Cam`s gonna be a jerk about this, then ignore him for all I care. We`ll hang out with the boys, and Cam will follow like a lost puppy." I said confidently, my lips curling into an evil grin.

Calla laughed and smacked my arm. "My parents would kill me if they knew we did that," she said, a bit of concern on her face.

"Dear child, you`ve got it all wrong! Your parents will kill us," I corrected her, earning another laugh from her.

Ten minutes later, we sprinted to the beach, looking for the boys. A second later, I heard a muffled scream and then Calla wasn`t next to me. Panicked, I glanced around. "Calla!" I screamed desperately. Then I heard quiet laughter from behind a surfboard shack. I felt a burst of adrenaline, rolled up my sleeves, and stalked behind the surfboard shack. "Whoever you are, if you took Calla, I`ll kick your ass!" I hollered with rage. Then I saw Calla`s familiar black hair, taken out of its bun. There were two large hands running through it. My eyes widened and I lunged for the hands, scratching them with no mercy. "Let Calla go!" I yelled, not bothering to look Calla`s attacker in the eyes.

"Alli, stop!" I head Calla shriek. She yanked me off of the attacker and stared at me like I was crazy. "What`s wrong with you?"

The attacker winced as he flexed his scratched up fingers. "Clip your nails, Alli. Please." He mumbled, running a hand through his hair. Dammit. I just attacked Calla`s crush, the one and only, Louis.

"Oh my God...I`m sorry, I didn`t know you two were back here..." I trailed off, eying Calla and Louis. Then it hit me. "Wait a second. Were you two making out?" I shrieked.

Louis` frown turned into a smirk and Calla looked down, her face turning red. "I snatched her!" Louis said, his face full of pride.

"I see that," I replied flatly. No one said anything for a few moments.

"Well, let`s go boating, shall we?" Louis piped up, glancing at us questioningly.

"Will Harry be there?" I asked, trying to be casual.

Louis laughed and nodded. "All the boys will be there. We can go tubing if you want," He suggested.

Calla and I nodded energetically and followed Louis down to the dock, where the other boys were waiting for us.

"Jeez Lou, one isn`t enough?" Zayn asked, eying Calla and I. Suddenly a bit self-concious, I tugged at the bun on top of my head. Then a pair of warm hands wrapped around my waist and pulled me backwards.

"You look lovely," Harry murmured, a smirk on his face. I turned and planted a kiss on his cheek, and he led me towards the boat.

"Captain Niall, at your service!" Niall yelled as we climbed over the side of the boat. "Please put on a lifejacket before we leave. The complimentary life jackets are under the bench at the front of the boat. Carefully remove the seat cushion and select a lifejacket to wear. My assistant, Liam, will show you how to put them on." We all followed his instructions as he started up the boat. I grinned as I saw Louis helping Calla into her lifejacket. Looks like I`m not the only one falling in love this summer.
