Double trouble
Chapter 13
Louis' POV
Me and Niall arrived back at the flat. We opened the door to see Harry, Zayn and Liam at the table. They all stared at us.
"You're kinda late.." Liam said.
"Yeah, sorry about that..." Niall said, "we had to do some things."
"Okay, well come eat." Liam said.
Me and Niall sat down and started eating. There was potatoes and a salad with chicken on everyone's plate.
"Oh my god this is soo good!" Niall said with his mouth full. We all started laughing. He seemed to enjoy it. Harry started the conversation.
"So, Niall." Harry said. Niall looked up as he swallowed his food, "how's Brooklyn?" I looked over at him nut he didn't notice.
"Oooooo." Zayn said as he lowered his voice each time. "Niall's got a girl.."
"Be quiet!" Niall said.
"An advantage from what you never get." Zayn said. I rolled my eyes and looked over at Liam.
"Liam." I said. I tilted my head towards Zayn. Liam put his hand over Zayn's mouth and then wiped his hand downwards on his face. Zayn immediately shut up and started to eat again.
"Sooo," Harry said. "How is she?"
"Good, she's not hungover anymore that's for sure." I said. Me and Harry laughed as nobody got the joke. They were dead silent, so we stopped. We continued with the conversation.
"So Niall, Brooklyn doesn't know that you're part of a British boy band?" I said.
"No, actually." Niall said.
"Wouldn't it break her heart if she found out before you told her?"
"I'm telling her next time I see her."
"Really?"
"Yeah, wanna come with?"
"Sure." I ended the conversation. During it the guys were scanning us back and forth as if we were the only ones in the room. Liam started another one.
"So Harry, how was that party you went to?" He said.
"Good." Harry said. Niall gave him a look and Liam nudged him.
"Oh, come on. You didn't meet any girls?"
"Well, I did. But I never saw her after. I have her number though."
"Call it." Zayn said. Harry reached for the paper in his pocket as Liam said.
"You don't have to do this."
"Yeah, I want to. I haven't seen her beautiful brown eyes in days." Harry said.
Then he pulled out his phone and dialled the number. We all waited for the ring.
Emma's POV
We finished exploring Niall's flat. Me and Brooklyn walked upstairs and laid on her bed.
"I'm tired." I said. Brooklyn nodded.
"So, Niall called you Brook, right?" I added.
"Yeah, it brought back a lot of memories of dad." Brooklyn said.
"We won't talk about it.."
"Okay, um, Emma? Can I tell you something?"
"Yeah, sure!"
"Well, I'm telling Niall that I'm going through depression next time I see him." I had this shocked look on my face.
"W-what?" I said.
"But I'm not sure how he's going to react."
"I'm sure it'll be fine, he cares for you a lot." I hugged Brooklyn. She took it in closer.
Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was an unknown number.
"Brooklyn? Should I answer it?" I said
"Just go for it."
"Okay..." I answered my phone. "Hello?"
"Hello love." He spoke in a raspy voice. I heard other voices giggling from behind.
"Is this on speaker?"
"No love, I wouldn't do that."
"Who is this anyways? And how did you get my number?"
"It's Harry from the party. You gave me your number." He said.
"Oh my god it's Harry." I whispered to Brooklyn. He continued.
"Then you got drunk and I brought you back to my flat." Harry said. I heard a voice whisper to him from behind: "that was her?" "Yes It was."
"So, what exactly did you call me for?" I said.
"I called you to say... Maybe you wanted to meet up sometime? I haven't seen you in a while." He said. I gave Brooklyn an excited smile on my face.
"Sure, see you at?"
"8:30, sharp. Bar 61." He said. That bar was 5km away from where we had our party; where I met Harry.
I hung up the phone and got really excited.
"Sooo," Brooklyn said, she was hanging on the edge of her bed.
"He asked me to go to dinner and I said yes." Brooklyn screamed at the top of her lungs and said.
"You're sooo lucky!" She said. "But we have to get you all dressed up and ready to go."
"Of course..." We rushed to my bedroom and opened the closet and the dresser to find the prettiest dress possible.
