Savannah's POV:

The next day...

'I can't believe you like spending time in here' Noah groaned as I made my favourite tune with a plastic cup. 'Or with them' Rach looked so bored or annoyed. 'They poop, they stink, they cry and they're annoying' Noah complained. 'Their children' I uttered as we sat in the underwater themed playroom during the children's playtime. 'Come on, this is the least we can do for them during their stay here in the hospital' I said as I performed to a little girl and her bear. 'What be their play mate?' Noah whinged. 'You have too much patient Savannah Grace' Rach said. 'So what are you going to do about Harry?' Noah changed the topic. 'Can we not talk about him' I said.

'AHHH, his coming here' Noah screamed. 'Jezz Noah, there's kids in here who aren't immune to your defeaning screams and squeals' I told him. 'AHHH' he screamed again. 'See this I why I definitely won't go out with him. I'll go deaf with you screaming every time you see him' I rolled my eyes.

'Hey' Harry smiled. 'Hi' I stopped what I was doing and let out a smile. 'Will be upstairs' Rach pulled Noah out of the room. 'Wow, so this is different' Harry took a seat next to me on the kiddie's chair. 'Different from your usual scene' he turned to me. 'I like children, when I'm with them I feel like they take me away to another world. A world free from stress, doubts and fear' I told him.

'This is not surgery on a miniature scale. These are the tiny humans. They believe in magic. They play pretend. They're sleeping in a castle. There is fairy dust in their IV bags' I said passionately. 'Doctor can you tie my hair' a little girl held up a ponytail while her other hand clasped around a bear.

'They hope and they cross their fingers, and they make wishes, and that makes them more resilient than adults. They recover faster, survive worse. They believe' I said as I finished tying the girl's hair.

'Lilly, this is Tara' I introduced the two girls. 'Does you bear want to meet a friend?' I asked Tara and she nodded. The two girls skipped towards the other side of the room holding hands.

'You amaze me' Harry smiled to me with his mesmerising dimples. 'That's why I wanna ask if you would go out with me? Be my girlfriend Savannah?' he asked in a serious tone but he still had a smile in his face.

I was shocked, he took me by surprise.

'Are you feeling alright?' I touched his forehead. 'I'm fine' he chuckled as he took my hand off. 'I think you need to get checked for brain tumour' I joked. 'I'm being serious Savannah' he said.

I took a deep breath.

'Harry, I may be a heart doctor.... but I'm no love doctor' I told him. 'I admit, when I first met you, it wasn't hard to like you. You were nice and so interested about my job which I really liked. Then I found out about your reputation with girls, which I respect because that's your personal life, I'm not here to judge you' I explained. 'Then the clubbing and the drunken incident happened' I mentioned and he let out a small laugh. 'But you know that I was drunk that night and like I said my judgement was impaired' I reminded him.

'Trust me Harry you don't wanna go out with me' I warned him. 'Why not?' he asked. 'I spend 6-7 days a week in the hospital. Which is more than what I should be doing. I'm a workaholic. I probably spend more time in here than I actually do in my own house. But that's because I choose to, because I love it here' I informed him.

'I keep myself occupied in here, I don't have time for a relationship' I smiled with my lips hoping he understands. 'But you said so yourself, you do more than your suppose to. So technically you do have time, if you just gave yourself a break' he wasn't going to give up. 'I'm not your girl Harry. I'm not a celebrity, I'm not a dancer and I'm definitely no model' I explained. 'I'm sorry, it's a no' I said apologetically.

'What, No?' he said in shock. 'See, I knew this would happen' I smirked. 'What do you mean?' he asked. 'Your not used to getting rejected are you?' I smirked. 'Your right, I'm not' he let out a smile.

'Come in' Mum yelled as I knocked on her door. Dad was also there seating on the couch with her. I walked aimlessly towards the coach and flopped myself down. 'Honey are you okay?' Mum asked but I didn't respond. 'Did you lose a patient Sav?'Dad asked. 'Talk to us honey' Mum said.

'Harry Styles just asked me to be his girlfriend' I muttered. 'What!?' they yelled in an ecstatic voice. 'What did you say?' Mum hovered around me and asked with sparkles in her eyes. 'I said no' I muttered as I kept my head bowed down. 'What why?' he groaned. 'Mum Harry's got quiet a reputation, which I don't really care, but If I do become his girlfriend then that's when I start to care' I turned to her. 'Soooo, your dad had quiet a badass reputation when I first met him' she indicated. 'But Mum, Dad proved to you that he can change' I said. 'So let Harry prove to YOU that he can change' she pointed at me. 'Liz, that's not the only thing that's holding her back' Dad told Mum. 'It's work as well isn't it sweetie' Dad knew me too well.

'That's right mum. With work I just don't have time for a relationship. I have surgeries to do, a team to guide, residents to teach, research to do, things to learn' I blabbed on.

'Honey, you do more than your required to' she placed her hand on my cheek. 'You come to work even when your not rostered. You're so committed and dedicated to your work. But you do have time. You have time for a relationship' she tucked my hair behind my ear.

'Sav your always taking care of other people's heart' she smiled.

'Maybe it's time you let someone take care of your heart' she pointed at my chest
