Psychic or Psycho?

Jace's POV

"What was before you met me?" I jumped at the voice. I looked down from my treehouse and saw the one and only. Louis. Was I thinking out loud?

"Yep." Gr I don't like that. "Well than stop thinking." I slam my fist onto the wood.

"Stop Doing that! " I motioned for him to come up into the treehouse. He climbed the wooden ladder as say next to me, our feet hanging off the edge.

There was an awkward silence between him and me for a while. He looked anywhere but me.

"How did you find me? This is only somewhere I should know about." I looked at Louis, waiting for his answer.

He shrugged.

"So... I'm sorry." I studied his face. His gelled hair, his immature yet sophisticated face.

"For what? You have noth-"

"For being a jerk. I didn't think you could actually... 'See' those things. And was that true? The vision you wrote about?" I sigh. It always has to come ball to the visions. I looked over the horizon, seeing the sunset. The purples and blues and golden yellows. I decided to change the subject.

"My father use to tell me," I say, pointing to the sunset, " that if there was colors at sunset, it would w a nice day the next day. Louis," I say, turning to him.

"Have you ever had that feeling, that you didn't belong. But there was one person, ONE measly person, that you could just be yourself with? That you didn't have to... Change who you really are? That you didn't, don't- care what they think of you, because you know in the end, you'll still like them?"

He nodded. I think it's time. I've only known him for... Maybe a week or two, but I have to tell him.

"I think that person is you." I look into his eyes, waiting for some emotion to peak through. He looks at the sunset again, then back at me.

He leans into me, and I realize, that he wants to... Kiss me? That's right, right? I've never done that before, I don't know how to kiss!

I lean in the same way and I see his eyes are closed, so I close mine. I feel his lips on mine, and it's the most romantic first kiss I could think of. I wouldn't haw it any other way.

We pull away and just look at each other. We're both smiling freaks, but we don't care.
