A Walk To Remember

Chapter 2❤️:

"Oops. I'm so sorry. Are you alright?" I looked at the person that was apologizing. Harry? Why do I always look so startled when I see him? Whatever.

"It's fine. Really. Thanks" I have him a smile assuring him I was fine because he looked a little too worried. "Thanks. Merliah?" Wow. He has trouble reliving it's me too. Great. It looks like he was studying me making sure it was me.

I just have him a smile and small nod telling him that it's me.

"Oh. I wanted to say congratations for winning the award" He gave me a smile and leaned in for a hug. Do I hug him back? Of course you do! My inner self was telling me so I did.

(HARRY'S P.O.V)

I leaned on for a hug. In a friendly way, okay. I took in her smell and it smelled so good. Like, peppermint. I love peppermint. I'm saying this in a non-weird way.

I didn't know she was dating Justin. I thought he was dating Slelena but, ima be honest and say that Merliah is better? Let's just say she's fit.

"Thank you. I really have to go sit down. They're probably wondering what's taking so long. It was nice bumping into you" She gave me a smile and I let out a chuckle. She waved bye and turned around. She started walking away.

Is it wrong to ask for her number? But as friends of course. Ahh, whatever.

"Hey Merliah!" I yelled after her and started jogging to catch up to her. Damn, she walked pretty fast for someone wearing high heals.

She turned around when she heard me calling her name. She stopped when she saw it was me. I'm glad she stopped.

"Umm, do you mind giving me your number. So that maybe we could, text?" Inside I was hoping she'd say yes.

"Sure let me put it in your phone yeah?" She waited for me to take my phone out. I started searching for it. Great, when I don't need it I have it and when I need it I don't. Never mind. Found it!!

I handed it to it to her and she started typing her number. When she was done she handed it to me.

"Thanks" I gave her a smile And she returned one too. Really Styles? Really? Just a thanks.

"No problem. I'm so sorry but I really have to go" She waved good-bye again and walked away. Again.....

I sat down in the table that was reserved for us. It was near the stage but it was a good angle.

Kendall turned my way and gave me a questioned look. I knew what she was thinking so I just answered.

"Sorry. I bumped into a friend" I said. I felt guilty for some reason but I wasn't lying. I literally bumped into a friend. She is a friend right?

She gave me a smile and I gave her one too. I spotted Merliah taking a seat in her table. I didn't know she was sat near us. I saw Justin whisper something into her ear and she just giggled and kissed his cheek.

I looked away and put my attention to the stage where they were presenting an award. Best British single.

"And the award for best British single goes to....." There was a huge pause and the whole place was quiet.

They teared the envelope open. "One Direction!" I heard through the microphone. I got up and gave Kendall a kiss. I hugged simon and the boys too. We started walking towards the stage.

"This is incredible. We want to say a massive thanks to the lovely fans for supporting us all the way, to simon, the band, the group, colombia and syco records. We love you all. Thank you" I gave my 'thank you' speech.

Liam ima started talking and I made eye contact with Merliah. She looked away after what seemed like ages of staring into each other's eyes.

We walked off off the stage and went to take a seat. This shit is tiring.

(MERLIAH'S P.O.V)

"Goodnight darling. Take care" My dad told me as we hugged. We came back from the awards and let me tell you. That crap is so tiring.

"Babe! Let's go to sleep!" I heard Justin yell from upstairs. "Coming!" I yelled back as I turned off all the lights from downstairs.

My phone started ringing and I quickly went to get it. I ran all the way downstairs to see that it was a text. Not call. But it was an unknown number.

'Unknown' Number: Goodnight .Hxx

Harry? How did he ge-Ohh, right. Yeah never mind. I replied a quick goodnight.

I got into bed to see Justin sleeping already. He must be really tired. "Goodnight. Love you" I whispered and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight. Love you too babe" He replied and kissed the top of my head.

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
