A Walk To Remember

"David ! David ! Jennifer ! Merliah ! Merliah ! Justin ! Justin ! Over here!" We're the screams that the paparazzi yelled whilst walking down the carpet at the Brits. We were currently posing for pictures with my mum, dad, and boyfriend.


"Let's go" One of our security guards told us. We started walking towards the inside of the stadium were the awards were being held at.


We sat at our reserved table almost near the side if the stage. Good. I thought. I really didn't want to walk a long way to get up the stage incase my name was called. I get nervous during these things so that made it a little better.


"Harry!" I heard Justin, my boyfriend, yelled. Who was Harry? I'm sorry if I don't know who he is but I'm very busy all the time. "Hey man!" This Harry guy greeted Justin back.


"Kendall. How you been?" Justin asked. Kendall? Oh, Kendall! I haven't seen her in ages. I stood up and faced my friend with Harry? I saw them holding hands. They're dating? I thought she was dating someone else.

"Merliah!" I as Kendall scream as she let go if Harry's hand and come tackle/ hug me. God I missed her. "How are you?" She asked me whilst pulling away. "Great. Look at you! You've changed!" I complimented her. "So do you! You even got taller. Taller than me even" I laughed at what she had said.


"Harry meet my friend, Merliah. Merliah meet my boyfriend, Harry" She introduced me to Harry. He brought out his hand for me to shake which I did with a smile.


"You must be Merliah. The bird that keeps my mate, Justin happy" I let out a chucke and let go of his hand. "Nice to meet you too" I told him. Justin was gonna say something but he got cut off when we heard Grimmy Grimshaw talk. He was hosting this years awards. He was such a good friend of ours.

We were in the middle of the awards. They were gonna present the next award. I saw Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dovrev come in stage. They must be presenting this award.


"This year we saw many models work hard and make outstanding covers for magazines" Nina talked in the microphone. "Exactly. Many of them barley started their carrer and already they are reaching to the being the best models" Ian said to the audiance.

"We are honored to present and give away this award" Nina smiled. "And the nominees are..." The huge screen behind started showing the nominees: Jennifer Beckham, Kendall Jenner, Merliah Beckham, Barbara Palvin, Miranda Kerr, and Adriana Lima.


The nominees were really great models. Including my mum! I don't think I'll win because they're much better than me. I'm not as good as them.


"Before we say the winner. Just to let you know there's family competition in the category. The Beckhams!" Ian said making the whole stadium burst in laughter.


"And the winner is.... Merliah Beckham!" Both Ian and Nina yelled. I covered my mouth with my hand and gasped. I got up and hugged Justin "Good job babe" he told me. I hugged my dad and mum. I started walking up to the stage were the microphone was.


I hugged Ian and Nina saying thank you. "Thank you so much for voting. I'm flattered to be honest. I was gonna pee when they said my name" Everyone started laughing. "Thank you so much. I can't believe I won my mum, she's gonna kill me now" Everyone laughed again. "Just kidding. I wanna thank my dad for believeing in me, my mum for telling me I could do it and Justin for being with me every step of the way. Love you All".


I heard loads of clapping. I started walking backstage when I bumped into someone and I almost feel over. I looked up to the person.

"Merliah?" The person said.
