We'll Find A Way

Bacon and Studios

Harry was surprised by how comforting it felt to be close to Addie, despite the fact that she didn't act as kind as he expected towards him. As he felt her head rest on his shoulder, a shiver went down his spine, making him shift in his seat.

"Do me a favor?" Harry said, looking down at her.

She looked up through her eyelashes, a small smile on her lips. "What?"

"Tell me about yourself," Harry softly pleaded, raising his eyebrows up.

"Okay," Addie said slowly. She pressed her lips together for a while and inhaled. "I live a few blocks away from here, to start with. I live with my parents, although it feels like I live alone."

"How come?" Harry asked, genuienly interested.

Addie shrugged. "It's just like that. You're bound to know why soon, I guess."

Harry nodded, signaling her to continue, but was still confused with what Addie was talking about. He shook it off and listened closely again, watching her lips move ever so slowly, her dimples showing slightly and her eyebrows raising up as she talked.

"I came from Cali and moved to England after a, uh, problem happened. I have no siblings, but Sam and Charlie are always there to play that role in my life. They've been there during my happiest and saddest times, and I guess I'm pretty thankful for them. I like photography and writing. I also sing, although I'm not very good at it. Sam and Charlie say I'm good at it, but I don't really want to focus on signing--I prefer playing the guitar. I play drums and piano, too. I modeled for quite some time, but I've always hated the pressure I was under on when I was in that business."

"Is that why you're so thin?" Harry furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah," she nodded against his shoulder. "They always tell me to only eat a certain amount of calories or something." She shrugged, taking in a breath. "It felt uncomfortable, like they were saying that thin girls are the prettiest even if the ad I was modeling for supported the whole be-who-you-are kind of thing."

Harry smiled softly at her despite the fact that she couldn't see him. Maybe it was better that way.

"I gained a lot of weight after leaving, though. But I still seemed to remain thin. My dad says it might be because of my body getting used to all the crap."

"What did the people say when you left?" Harry asked as she played with the hem of her shirt.

She shrugged and sat up, looking at him. "Nothing, really. Although they did say that it was a waste since I was one of their best clients. I don't believe them, though. I mean, all I did there was stare at a camera and get mad at makeup artists when they would put too much makeup on my face."

"Maybe that's why," Harry offered, although the tone of is voice came out sounding like a question, like he wasn't sure about it.

Addie shrugged and brought up her legs on the couch, making her sit in an Indian position. "Maybe,"

Silence filled the air after, none of them really having a response. It wasn't awkward, more of comforting. The only thing breaking the silence was the soft winds blowing from outside and the drops of snow falling on the roof above them.

Harry looked down at her, seeing not much because of the lack of light in the room. He can make out the shape of her jaw, her petite frame sitting beside him. She looked up after feeling his eyes on him, staring blankly into his eyes.

For a split second, Harry considered leaning in. He blinked a few times and cleared his throat before removing his arm around her and sitting up straight. "It's pretty late, we should go."

"Harry, I swear, I am not making you sleep on the floor!" Addie argued for the nth time, looking down at Harry from his bed. He grabbed a sleeping bag before going in his room earlier, laying it down beside his bed for him to sleep on.

"As much as I hate to say it, to you, especially, but I am trying to be a gentleman here, making you sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the floor." Harry shot back, looking at her.

"Then sleep here with me."

Harry scoffed. "I'd rather sleep outside than undress you, America."

"'America,' how creative." Addie glared at him, sarcasm rolling off her tongue. "What I meant was you get one side of the bed, and I get the other." Addie rolled her eyes. "Nothing sexual, Curly."

"Whatever," Harry mumbled when Addie explained herself, trying his best not to show her how embarrassed he felt. "I'm still sleeping on the floor."

Addie sighed and gave up, looking up at the ceiling as she stayed comfortably on the bed. "Fine. Good luck to you and your back. And neck."

"At least I don't have to be in the same bed as you." Harry said, "being in the same room is enough."

The smell of bacon got Harry to wake up in an instant. He sat up, his back aching in much pain. Groaning, he stood up and noticed his bed empty and fixed. He furrowed his brow and let out a yawn, the time in his phone bearing out 8:30.

"Damn it, jet lag," he muttered, noticing the earliness. He stretched ans gave out another yawn, rubbing his eyes before going out of his room and down the stairs.

He followed the scent of food to the kitchen, seeing Addie by the stove and Louis and Charlie sitting at the island counter.

"Oh, you're up." Louis smiled at Harry as he grabbed a chair to sit beside him.

"Charles," Addie sang, turning around to look at her friend. She reached out a plate at him. "Come and get the good stuff."

He grinned at the sight of the food, greatly accepting the plate and giving Addie a small peck on the cheek.

"What are you guys, a couple?" Louis wondered, getting his plate from Addie as well.

"No," they said in unison.

"Although we do have telepathy." Addie winked, making Louis chuckle.

"So, if you both are just friends, and he's allowed to kiss you," Louis wondered, "am I allowed to do so?"

Addie smirked and took a seat across him. "Your time will come, love."

"Sounds quite off hearing that without an accent." Charlie chuckled.

"You always say that." Addie stuck out a tongue at him. "Now go eat your food." She turned to face Harry and looked at him cautiously. "Want me to fry up some bacon for you?"

Harry thought about it for a while. His back had decided not to cooperate with him that morning, making him too tired to have an argument with her. "Alright,"

She smiled ever so sweetly at him then hopped off her chair, going back to her position in front of the stove. She started frying the pieces, humming a Fall Out Boy song.

"Maybe he won't find out what I know," Louis continued the next line of the song.

Addie turned around and grinned, and like it was right on cue, they both sang the next line melodiously, like they arranged vocals together. "You were the last good thing about this part of town."

Addie laughed and placed a plate in front of Harry as she sat on her seat, pressing her lips together as she watched the three eat in front of her.

"Didn't know you can sing," Louis raised his eyebrows at Addie.

Her eyes flickered quickly to Charlie and looked back at Louis with a smile. "I don't sing."

"You just did," Louis pointed out. "And it was great."

Addie blushed slightly. "You're a great singer, too."

Louis grinned. "We should sing together sometime. We have studio at the hall across our rooms, but that studio is being soundproofed, so we can use the one in the third floor, it's soundproofed already."

"I don't sing," Addie said again.

"Your voice is lovely." Louis assured her. "We can do a jam session and record it in the studio, although I think one of the chairs are broken--it has a crack near the edge of it."

"Rich kid problems." Charlie chuckled.

I didn't plan to make this chapter sound so crappy, but like what I said, I wasn't much in a good mood last night. Apologies to all of you.

She sees the boy's and the dad talking, she suddenly freezes and pieces things together that she was used. Although she doesn't show it. Her father introduces her to the boys, she says she's met them once before. She smiles, an o so believable fake smile, to the boys and her dad. She says ; "one direction, you should hire them, they will do anything to get what they want, talented to. Can I go home I feel a little sick I just came to ask if you were able to come home today, and can I have a lift home right now I feel light headed". Or something like that , make it more interesting and DETAILED. She leaves, questioned faces everywhere, exept liam and harry. The meating continues, blah blah blah. And the end of the meeting, the dad says he would go home to cheak on her daughter, the felt uneasy about her daughter being sick al of the sudden. Then Louis, starts to ask one question , what just happened?(to addie). Great story, hope you update, Again Amazing writing Bye!!!!!?!?!?;
